Response to issues is worst

leak somewhere in drywall that still hasn't been addressed weeks later Instead of Telling me my gas didn't transfer they just shut it off, so now I have no gas for a day when a simple email I would have fixed it. So now I don't have a way to heat my home on a cold day with kids in the house. I had a confirmation email with a gas company that doesn't service the area I guess, but I had no way to tell. HOA is controlled by the builder, homeowners get 1 vote, every lot they own gives them 3 votes. No matter what change you want done they out number you. I really didn't want to have to write a bad review, but this is just ridiculous. A simple "Hey, the gas is still in our name" call would have made me make an immediate fix. The team helped me with every step of the way and were ready to answer any and all questions. I was very nervous about such a big step by myself. Rose was always there, and even sent pictures of the house and property area almost weekly.

Comparatively speaking with other builders I have purchased from, this home is structurally sound, the layout is appealing and the staff is most knowledgeable!

The team at Red Mill Pond are exceptional. The weekly updates and pictures of the build progress were a great added touch. The team responds to any questions or concerns in a timely manner. Always very kind and courteous and eager to help in anyway they can. It has been a very smooth and exciting process for us.

Great property close to all the action of schools, shopping, restaurants, etc. Danielle worked with us from start to finish and we are thrilled with our new home!

I don't expect a new build to be perfect and I'm glad the builder has been responsive. This is what has made my experience absolutely wonderful with K. Hovnanian. It was a new build of a planned subdivision, so the workmanship (precision) of the painting and sealing seems normal or average to what I have seen in the past (obvious brush strokes on floorboards, caulk an other stuff not removed from surfaces, and builder materials inhibiting drain closure on bathtubs). I would think for the price paid there could have been more attention to detail before I moved in. However, so far all items have been addressed and the builder (Grant) has been very prompt in doing so. From start of the buying process and into are second month moved in they have been good and responsive to any problem are questions we have had.We are very happy with are 1st home purchase and appreciate everyone's help along the way.

Paula did a Fantastic job keeping us updated in every step of the way, till the house was built. She answered every question we had, weather it was small or big with enthusiasm and with professionalism.

From the beginning to the end my experience building my new home with K. Hovnanian was wonderful. Everyone from the sales team to the builders were professional and informative. They were able to resolve any concerns or uncertainty that I might have had; which made the buying process a lot easier. I love my new home and highly recommend!!

Overall happy with purchase and family is happy. There were numerous small issues that need to get resolved and lots of sloppiness in many areas of the home.

The entire process working with KHOV has been postitive.Elizabeth ,our sales rep has been most thorough from the start, working with my wife & I on selections,providing timely & reasonable dates for homeowner inspections,returning calls & texts as needed.The project manager for the site Casey, is also attentive with the building process & has a professional demeanor working with the homeowners.After our settlement,we have had some minor punch list items & the KHOV service center call in follow up with the local rep Cody to schedule the appropriate tradesman to address & correct is efficient .

I was a really good experience buying a home with k.Hononian homes the sales persons and builders team and all their employees where really helpful from the beginning to final move in I highly recommended

The overall experience was a great one. There are things that could be improved such as the quality of the drywall finishing. I’ve been in the house 2 weeks and already have cracked areas that I am submitting for warranty work.

very bad experience with sales team

I've had the worst experience and it's such a shame as I was so excited to be a KHovnanian home owner. The lack of attention to detail is disheartening. When asking to remove the paint stains in the carpet before moving in caused a permanent stain on my carpet. The closet had to be redone for lack of sturdy completion. The closet fixer walked into my home and dragged all his muddy shoes on my carpet, pictures were taking and sent in, carpet cleaner hired, he was extremely aggressive with his services causing straches all over my walls ( mind you the paint stains on the carpet were not be able to be removed even though he was brought in for mud, so im living with stains on my carpet that I did not do,) concrete was called in for cracks needing to be fixed and now my master suite restroom is going to be gutted as the foundation is broken. I havent been able to use the left side of my restroom for the sinking whole. A new stranger will enter my home. Ive had 5 people eneter my home, in the middle of a pandemic, when i have elderly parents living with me, risking exposure for the lack of your worksman. I will never by a Khovnanain home again or recommend to others. This is a brand new home and these are the problems ive faced in the first month. ... More

Overall good experience. Would I purchase new construction in the future? Maybe not. There were a lot of cosmetic issues throughout the house that I feel were a result of rushed work. However that seems to be the nature of the game. For the price I think it was a great experience. Definitely recommend having a realtor and someone who understands the financial side, we did not have either and I feel like our experience suffered because of that. Overall I am very pleased with my new home.

Sales promised so many things (like Gourmet Kitchen, lower Cabinet in Laundry etc) and ultimately none of them were addressed as I felt they were more focused on selling homes and meeting or exceeding their sales targets and never seemed to consider the buyer as their customer. On the Contrary, the maintenance team led by the construction manager have been very prompt in their responses after closing the home to address any new or outstanding issues.

This is the first new tract home I have purchased after building my own home, and buying existing homes. KHOV exceeded my expectations. there were a few issues as expected, but they were handled professionally and promptly. Very please with my purchased

The home is very nice and it has been a great purchase.

Excellent quality home, wonderful community, great staff, everything went very smoothly on schedule from sale, construction, lending. Everyone at KHOV I have interacted with has been AMAZING!

Overall it was ok, a few things were a bit disappointing. For instance the shower glass install was shotty. Didn't complain since I will behaving the bathroom remodeled. The people that work for the company are the high point of the experience. John and April.

We had been looking for homes for months. As soon as we saw this house we fell in love with it. Keith the Khov manager was super friendly and made us feel at home. Every concern we brought up was addressed in a timely manner . Karen the loan officer was very helpful and made our loan process easy. Grant the project manger was easy to approach and made us understand our home features . I thank Khov for having an amazing team to help us buy our home.
