Nice people to work with. High priced for decent quality. Didn’t love the buying process and definitely wasn’t a fan of the in house loan officer.

Pricey, pushy sales people, but great overall product in the end.

Heather in sales is great! She is always professional, goes over and beyond to provide guidance. The communication, responsiveness of others has lacked. It seems like a lot of turnover. Were hopeful this improves with the new team on board. The construction vendors leave a huge mess with little to no clean up around us. Most recently, I had to clean up an entire shower panel of glass that a vendor broke in the street, glass was everywhere including street, sidewalk and grass. We reported it immediately as it was a safety hazard for adults, children, animals and cars. No one ever came. I finally had to flag down the manager a couple of days later in the neighborhood to show him the area of concern. He picked up the trim that was still left outside, but no other action was taken. With our HOA fees being extremely high with an additional $700 fee for a private road, this would be an area of growth for the company. ... More

Did not take care of requests to fix problems with the house.

Purchasing a home is inherently a complex process; however, the lack of communication between the realtor, loan officer, and underwriters made it unnecessarily challenging and stressful. Additionally, the builder’s contractor left several touch-ups incomplete, and I received the keys before final cleaning. To further complicate matters, the cleaning service did not arrive as scheduled, and when they eventually did, the home was already occupied and the carpets were being replaced. She never came back. The small room and the house lacked proper insulation, causing overheating until I requested additional insulation. There were also electrical problems, including non-functional light switches, which required an electrician visit. Unfortunately, the interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. While I appreciate the home itself, I am concerned that future requests for corrections may be met with excuses rather than solutions ... More

The sales team fell short of their due diligence. I was long distance and was told many things that I was unable to verify the time. Parking is one of them. Sales was confident that I would be able to park my car in the garage. I cannot. Acoustics between floors is slipshod. Cabinetry and doors are not held together very well. Spacing between apartment buildings to make ease of parking in the garage is very minimal.

Builder could do better job. 1. DId not check that all new appliances were in working condition before closing. 2. Closing aggressively, but not following the safety of homeowners for their safety in active construction zone. Especially when moving big vehicles. 3. Not following local, state, or federal safety rules in active construction zone. 4. Did not pay the land taxes were due at the closing time, it is my headache now, I paid to avoid accruing the interest, but waiting to get reimbursed builder share. No resolution yet? 4. Other bills were also not paid, spending lot of time to resolve the issues. 5. HOA management is not user friendly (forget the welcoming the homeowners, they do not help when they need help). Created problems, one open pending issue! Working on it... 6. Life is busy, if these problems were addressed properly before closing, the homeowners will have fewer problems once they move in. Make homeowners life easy as is they have lot of issues to deal during moving? 7. The community center is not ready yet, lot of homeowners already accupied. 8. The good part is no one knows who is on the board/HOA. This information should be public knowledge as they are taking most critical decisions on behalf of association. Need to improved the complete end to end communication. sales to escrow. underwriter last minute finds and expecting to get resolved in 1 -2 days is not acceptable.

Better than a Ryan home, but still a builder-grade home!

I am very happy with the initial start of my home buying process. The sales team was great! My disappointment started when I moved in and started seeing that the walkthrough tags weren’t all fixed and then I started seeing more flaws. Unfortunately, there’s too many to list. The whole issue is the workers that are contracted out. It is so obvious that there is the lack of caring out what they do and definitely lacking pride in their craft. I am still waiting for my places to be fixed with my concrete. It’s been awhile now since I asked for mistakes to be fixed. There is a warranty and I will get to address things at my 1 year mark. Overall experience purchasing was good. Problems get taken care of quickly I wasn’t told up front that I could not paint the interior for a year or that the HOA needed to know about all the flowers I want to plant

The KHOV Elevon salesperson was very misleading, played shady games over crediting back $1,500, I would not trust her and certainly would not refer anyone to her. The home is lovely for the most part. I was told the home was "close to being ready", knowing I was on a tight timeframe to move, they sat on the house with not a single nail for almost a month, I lost money on the house I was selling due to not one but 3 closing delays and then they did not even live up to the $1,500 credit back they offered (found that out too late). The interior is lovely (we bought the farmhouse style) but the front landscaping was sloppy, I wish that they would have actually completed the punch list before I moved in and they absolutely did not clean the lot, we have had the worst ant problems, coming in through our sockets, trim, etc. READ EVERYTHING. They do provide many beautiful upgrades like a free-standing tub, barn doors and little details that make the home just a little elevated. Some of the systems DO NOT work as described (i.e. "Fresh Air Intake"); the fence is sub-par, and I think they tried to squeeze one too many houses on each street as the houses are so close that many side yards never dry due to lack of sun. Unfortunately, you don't get the HOA rules until after you have provided earnest monies and then, the HOA rules not working for you is NOT a reason to break the contract. I did not like the Elevon Sales Team, I'm planning to sell in another year and move. I have to take ownership that I should have demanded certain information before giving them any monies. The Project Manager was great, but did I mention the Sales Team either withholds, misleads or just lies; sometimes over stupid things but they really lied about the plans for the development. That was not KHOV as a company, but the sales teams represent the company. I might have rated a little higher overall except for the fact that Heather the Salesperson really tainted the experience, and you just can't change that so every time I pulled into my garage, it just took from the joy of buying what was supposed to be my "dream home" (within an affordable price point) and the HOA management company.... just ridiculous nonsense. ... Buying process was exhausting and if you are not computer savvy, it's a real turnoff. Once in the home, I started finding little things that they cut corners on, lights in closets, vanity drawers are too deep (unusable). Cabinets and microwave too high. Space could have been better used.

I have not heard from the follow up home inspector post buy. I have concerns but she has not called me back. Her name is Dean.

Had hard time right from sale to moving to post occupancy. Evaluate other option before committing to Khov.

We had issues with the loan department and sending multiple documents. Seems that they were not communicating with each other. Sales representatives were always helpful. Electrical sockets in both bathrooms weren't tested prior to move in. So they didn't work. Walls needed repairs after the first month as you could see all the nicks, nails etc. The drywall is just painted over. Been here for 3 months and the refrigerator door handle came off. Maintenance requests submitted however, it takes a while for them to respond to them?

When you build a home in 4 months, don't expect quality craftsmanship. Lots of interior issues - drywall/paint defects. Landscape is a 3/10 at best. Sprinklers not sitting flush with the ceiling. Lack of customizing. Overall, I wouldn't pick a KHov build for our next home.

It is a great neighborhood. I wish they would have better customer service after you purchase the home. I moved in and noticed so many problems that I have not been receiving any help with. before purchasing the home I was very excited and loved the customer service but I guess that was just to get me to purchase the home. Now nothing but rude comments and no action.

Home is well built however there is no consistency in pricing everyone in neighborhood paying different prices, If you get a loan with them I would advise to get it on your own the terms were different every time we went in. With construction still going on there are many nails in the street and when ask if someone could clean up so people would not get their ties damaged it seems to fall on deaf ears every time I walk I pick up nails in the street Landscaping does a poor job taking care of the neighborhood many dead plants and when asked never address.

For the price of the house, we should have gotten morn out if it. They care more about building houses than having a play park for kids.

Design team is so outdated ! I feel the house model is from 1980s and no update in designs. Definetely overpriced for these outdated designs.

There is too muc turn over and issues are not resolved. There were short cuts made and many mistakes. The garage door has never been fixed. Orlando and so many other good people quit because they were overworked and underpaid. The buyers all suffer as a result.

Given dirty basement in a new house. Lot of mud in the basement. How can I write a good review?

Experience is not great. Not provided proper information during inspection and home walk-through. After closing, if I raise tickets, its taking lot of time to resolve the issues. Very poor to response time
