All in all, the process was really good and any bumps we experienced were managed satisfactorily.

We moved into our new home a month ago and we could not be any happier. Our construction manager, Garrett, was especially helpful with getting settled in and addressing minor issues we came across. Garrett was incredible and gave us peace of mind with our concerns. The KHOV Mortgage team was also exceptional! They were very detailed and responsive at all times. Melissa made all the paperwork process a breeze. We are delighted with the performance and quality of KHOV. The KHOV staff was wonderful to work with.

Even though we did not move to the new home: *our sink has RUST on it and its has to be fixed or changed. They said it will be fixed. I wanted to be documented that if after being fixed the sink still started rusting, IT HAS TO BE CHANGED. *as a result of rain, our basement got wet and had some water. it is very very bad to move to a house which damaged by rain water. *The sump pump was not draining. This problem has been fixed. *The air filter for air condition system was so bad and it was black even though no one used it yet. They put the used and damage one in there!!. My sales representative made my home buying experience painless and non stressful. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone throughout the experience was kind and helpful and continues to be even after I’ve been living here for a month. I love my home and I know I will be happy here for a very long time.

K Hovnanian was by far the most helpful of the builders in the area and not pushy or aggressive whatsover. The salesmanship was top notch. They went at our pace, never overreached and was always available to take the time and answer any questions during the decision to build a home. Once we decided to go with K Hovnanian, they kept us updated weekly as far as the building process/status went. We closed right around when they had estimated we would close and the closing process was a breeze with K Hovnanian.

Our home is immaculate, The site realtor Shauna and site manager Mike were fantastic, we appreciate all their help and insight, My only issue came with getting a loan officer to start the process. We were shuffled between three different loan officers and had two different loan processors. We are thankful for our home and I did refer my friend to Khov their new home build.

First I want to say if it wasn’t for Brandy the experience would be a lot worse. From start to finish Brand made sure we were always informed and feeling good about our house. Truly was the big reason we bought with Khov. The building and construction side I just never trusted the process. This not my first build so I have understanding how it should go. Really felt like my house didn’t have someone watching over it and the contractors could do whatever they want. Then we would send notes to help fix and really would never get an answer or waited till final will through and then was still fixing issues after I signed. We have a lot of things we picked out not happen or get something else. Didn’t see like the construction team really cares about the selection sheet. If we didn’t say something I’m sure we would of got upgrades we didn’t pay for but was put in. We had a small issue with how our dishwasher was framed. They addressed and on final walkthrough it was worse what they fixed. What was said is well our contractor do things differently depending who does it. Weird answer when I knew how to fix it. Then they came back to fix it and it looked better and we thought it was done. Then came back a third time to fix it again. Just seems like contractors do what they want and the team accepts hoping the customer doesn’t say anything. Attention to detail just lacks on the construction team. They are all very nice and I know a lot of changes have happen but my home is forever. We will be using the warranty a lot cause the more you live in there the more I notice. My last home that was built I didn’t use it once cause the attention to detail was amazing. Which I’m sure only helps the bottom line in a business. Always willing to give more fees back if asked. We love our home just the process and the quality of workmanship was just a pain. ... More

We had the pleasure of working with Paul and Bannon. Paul was very detail oriented and gave great advice. Both was generous with their time and explained every part of the process clearly, which helped us get into our home with minimal stress. Everything went smoothly.

Howard our walkthrough specialist failed to go over most of the items on the checklist. Of course we had no idea bc he never showed us the checklist and had us text message him that he could sign it for us. I had to beg for a copy of what he signed for us and when I finally got it, I realized how much we missed out on. There was a line of ants from the front door to the back slider and it was never addressed prior to closing. Areas marked by Howard still have tape on them and were never painted or addressed. I set up an appointment for the warranty specialist to come and address the items we pointed out during our final walkthrough. Howard assures is these would get addressed. The warranty specialist never showed and did not even bother to call or email is that he wasn’t coming. We wasted an entire day waiting only to get a call weeks later apologizing for the no show and a reschedule. I am requesting a new walkthrough so that I can be familiar with the different systems in the house such as where the sewer clean is among others. ... More

EVERYBODY WAS AMAZING

From the beginning to the end, buying our first home was a seamless task considering some of the horrible stories we heard about other builders. From everyone that helped us along the way, seemed to have one main focus “To make sure the buyer was comfortable and happy”. I would recommend everyone to KHov for their home buying experience!!!

No mail box set up. Roads not added in Google maps. USPS was not recognizing the Address. I have to submit several requests to Google. Had to make couple of trips to USPS. These things should have taken care by sales rep.

If you have a truck ensure your attempt to put it in the garage to see if it fits. This is something I didn’t do and wish I did. My truck doesn’t fit in my garage forcing me to park across the street

I am satisfied with the new house built by K. Hovnanian. Mr. Mauricio and Mrs Karen has taken good care of me on the house purchase, process, after closing follow up in order to make sure everything good.

I would recommend K. Hovnanian to anyone buying a house. It was a smooth process and everyone on the K. Hovnanian team was a pleasure. Amazing house and would buy another house from K. Hovnanian.

John and Becky were outstanding from the initial walk-through to the closing. They continued their exceptional service even after the close, and quickly resolved any questions or issues with the home.
