K. Hovnanian® Homes Reviews

Honestly 1 major issue. Air conditioning is not acceptable. Specifically upstairs in home. I have had 3 visits. All come up with some explanations. And have been told unit is only “required” be 13 degrees below outside temperature. Well when it’s 95, 82 degrees inside a home is not ok. No one would buy a home with such a unit. Other homeowners have told us of same experience with AC unit. For this reason alone I am totally dissatisfied and would strongly persuade friends and family to avoid a khov home.

Happy with my home aside from some minor finishing details.

The contracted builder for this home was fantastic, however the mortgage side for this company is horrible. KHOV Mortgage forces buyers to use their own 3rd party resources. The company’s representatives do not respond or handle matters diligently. It is so hard and frustrating to get into contact with anyone in this company. Please do not use this company.

Great quality all around!

They are willing to assist you with your dream home with minimal error and are willing to be flexible with your closing dates and will work with contingency plans

This is a company that lives up to its promise. From the first meeting with Ralph until my closing I felt that everyone wanted the best for me. Each person listened to my desires and tried to make sure my needs were met. This culminated in a beautiful home within my budget. I am truly enjoying my new home. Thank you K. Hovnanian Homes.

K. Hovnanian Homes has been a god send. When I walked into the office and met Crystal, I had so many doubts and fears about buying a home on my own. When COVID-19 hit, I didn't know what to expect.. From the beginning Crystal has been such a joy to work with and has encouraged me every step of the way. When she introduced me to Alex, his encouraging smile and expertise on my home, made me know that I was working with a great team. I am in my "Blessing", and I thank God for the great people that stood by me during this awesome journey. You are a five star in my book.

great quality but noticing a few things like paint washing away with water and a few things not lining up

excellent

We were treated with respect and care through the entire process. The team made sure to work very hard to get us in our home in a timely fashion while still providing a top notch home that my family and I will enjoy growing in!

Great work done to the house. Very responsive in returning to the warranty request..

The Buying process was done all Virtually which was a bit scary as we could not see the home in person, K Hov and my realtor did and excellent job communicating with me and showing me as much as they possibly could. The home is beautiful almost meeting our “Dream home” we love everything about it. Their has been some issues with the build but the warranty team has been responsive maybe a little slower than expected. Overall me and wife are extremely happy with the home.

From the sales lady to the closing of my house and everyone in between that I come in contact with went above and beyond to please me with all my requests. The nicest most trusted people in the industry.

Easy process from beginning to finish.

Salesperson was informative and the construction manager was knowledgeable. We're very happy with the end result.

I had such an amazing experience buying a K. Hovnanian! So glad I made the choice!

Check everything before you move in

My wife and I are very pleased with KHov and have been impressed with how they've treated us through the whole process. We love our beautiful home. We want to specifically thank Paul (and Jesse) for everything they have done for us and on our home. We appreciate their responsiveness and professionalism. We would also like to mention Jodie who ensured our mortgage application process went as smoothly as possible. Thanks, KHov!

Happy to be part of the community

Basically the home building experience with KHov has been a good one. There have been a few "bumps in the road " along the way, but they were handled professionally by the KHov personnel in a timely and complete fashion.

From the sales process all the way through warranty, K. Khovnanian team has been very responsive and respectful to all requests! This is how customer service should look for all industries!

Our home is spec home, anyway we had walked through a home similar to what had purchased. We had seen wrought iron spindles on the stairwell, we had asked if this was part of our home, saleswoman said yes, when we signed we were told that they were not included. We were also told being a spec we had the ability to change or upgrade as long as it was not already ordered. Come to find out we were not able to do so. Dont get me wrong I love our home. Just the fact one would say something the other says another.

They are willing to work with you Pisces Nice floor plan I just like the professional

We are very pleased to have worked with such professional and wonderful people and made our dream of owning our own home a reality. Each individual delivered beyond our expectations and made it so easy for us to finish the process. We love how we were treated with respect and courtesy and our home turned out how we always imagined it to be. We are confident that we made the right decision in choosing K.Hovnanian Homes.

AC unit too small for home.
