KHOV does not allow future owner conduct professional inspection before closing. A red flag .They promise you one year warranty after the purchase; however, half of the issue they push it back as cosmetic. I hired a professional inspector after the closing, 55 pages report with pictures of findings. Some of those , according to the certified inspector, in violation of code . Some of the contractors do not respond for months.

The home did not come with what we were sold by our sales person. We were told that we were going to get a gas line into the back yard, pre wiring for cameras, pre wiring for alarm, drop station, cabinets above my refrigerator. These are all items that we were sold that the home wasn’t built with. I have had a plumbing issue since the day I moved in with my second bathroom, the toilet does not flush right. The first time someone showed up he said he didn’t have the correct tools and left, the second time someone showed up un announced while I was on my way to work and the third person who showed up told my husband that he was “just fulfilling a work order” and he mentioned that the lines need to be camera and he told the builder that and he doesn’t know why he’s here. I have to be honest, sometimes the response time took too long if I called someone instead of sending an email. I indicated a few issues when I did my walk through, which are just getting repaired supposedly this Friday, November 13th. My home closed on September 28th. What I have been told is it was the vendors who claimed they were not getting the supplies due to CIVID-19. This very well may be true, but it’s still very frustrating.

This builder is good with roofing, basements and insulation however fall short on interior work. My microwave has a dent in my stove has scratches in it and the paint should have been white semi gloss.

Our experience with K.Hov was okay. Nice staff. But lack responsiveness to issues In a timely manner.

This is a production builder. The emphasis is creating a stream-lines process to build a home in the fastest time possible. That is a good thing, just know that the selections are extremely limited and once you have made your selections, there is no turning back.For the most part, employees were helpful and easy to work with. When adjustments and remediation were needed on the house, they were completed in a timely manner.

We are having many issues with the house and no clear direction from developer/builder how these will be resolved.. Just a painful situation for such a big investment

Dissapointed in the lack of knowledge of our sales representative. Sales representative was disrespectful, demeaning and hard to work with.

Woodwork was poor! Way too much caulking to cover up too long/too short cuts and gaps. Electrical was barely adequate and placement of receptacles and switches should really be done BEFORE they’re installed. Feel like not nearly enough pride was taken by the various subcontractors, especially for the price point of these homes!

Sales rep was fantastic. Job foreman was very knowledgeable overall. Dealing with Kham in Florida was both exasperating and exhausting. We are retired with more than enough funds available, however, the loan representative often did not return our calls. Up until the day before settlement we were still asked to send more documentation. After living in our new home for a month we are seeing alot of finished work on walls and trim wasn't the quality of work we expected for the amount of money we paid for our home. We would not recommend Khov homes.

Stuckle on boarders of house are very pourly made. My son bumped in to it with hand bars from his bike and tour off a chunk. Seals around front door and garage doors have folded in as well and dont seal like supposed to.

The finance team was awesome! After moving in, you see a lot of cheap materials and laziness. We love our house, but going to have to upgrade on our own.

Very stressful process! Had to complain to get cosmetic issues fixed that clearly needed to be fixed. Construction manager did catch a few things before me and corrected them before I had to complain. KHOV waited until last minute to schedule walk through and should’ve been done at least a week prior to closing to have appropriate time to get everything fixed. Was told if I don’t close they could delay fixing the issues for months so felt forced to close so my interest rate wasn’t affected. Running across issues the longer I’m here. Sales team and crew were responsive and helpful prior to closing. Closing process (even with pandemic restrictions) was quite smooth. However, one month after closing our backyard is still nothing but dirt...except after it rains when it becomes a swamp. Very unhappy with responsiveness of the developer and builder to complete the grading and sod on the property.

Our project managers made this a negative experience. Issues came up and it took longer than expected for them to be resolved. It was clear that nobody checked the work before our walk through because we had to point out major and minor issues, I thought that was there job and we were supposed to walk through to make sure everything looked good. One major issue is our garage door wouldn’t shut all the way and did not open or close properly and this was brushed off that it was fine. We weren’t able to use the hand rail on the stairs without it giving us splinters it was so rough. The stone on the fireplace was not finished. Our front door did not open or close properly. I also don’t think it should be the homeowners job to inspect every single room for paint mistakes and every single window to make sure they open easily. Issues were also brought up at the walk through that either weren’t addressed or they were addressed after we moved in. We were also told a cleaning crew had been in even though the floors were covered in dirt. My husband was told in person we received a new furnace filter but the one we have was never replaced with a new one prior to moving in (still hasn’t been replaced). On top of that after we moved in it took them about two weeks to move a portapotty off of our property. I had brought this up to them about a week after moving in and it took multiple texts asking it for it to be moved before anything was actually done. Our managers could have easily moved this themselves after being told once since they walk past it everyday, but a few weeks went by before moving it 10 feet across the street. Pleased with our home, but not pleased by the way these mangers blew concerns off they were advised of and the lack of care they had. hopefully they learn how to prepare future homes before a walk thru and cater to the buyer considering how much money were all spending on these homes. ... do not let them rush your close

During the construction, the general contractor was changed 4 times. We had issues with the constitution and was very difficult to get a response. The sales person and contractor were not coordinated. We didn't have the opportunity to get a predrywall inspection. We tried getting a meeting with someone higher than them, but no one made themselves available to hear about the issues and concerns we were having.

This is not a custom home, I repeat, this is not a custom home. They build them as fast as they can and try to cover up as much as possible. You have to be thorough in your own inspections and stay on top of the contractor to make sure the issues actually get fixed.

Example of issues that should be taken care at the beginning: * door entrance could see light from outside * power in one room did not worked, * outside trim not painted correctly * garage open broken ( did any one tested) * it took 3 weeks to complete the list of the walk before closing ( if I am correct it was suppose to be completed 3 days when we got keys of the house) * we purchase a home to enjoy it not to get point out to people thing they did wrong and have to deal with fixing 3 weeks after closing) * from beginning house plans were not done as we agree . Error by salesman) *

The basic materials used in half a million dollars house a joke.

Craftsmanship and quality from builder do not match price range for what house is worth. I've spent 280k on previous home in Clovis CA and everything about Wilson homes exceeded expectations. Insensitives from Wilson's where amazing and could not be beat. This new home is not worth the price we paid. I don't understand how I spent twice as much on this new home and it does not compete with the house previously purchased. After final walkthrough of home there are still several issues with washer, walls, cracks, glass, lights, and heating. Its very dificult to schedule to get issues fixed do to work schedule. ... More

After two full months in this house the floors have a bounce to them. Enough to have objects fall from a cabinet in a different room. There’s unfinished trim on cabinets. Light switches located behind doors. Questionable soundness of structure in exterior garage wall. I’ll assume the architect/designer does not live in one of these homes. I’m told the house needs to go through two seasonal changes. Time will tell.

Could do better,if they paid more attention to details.

Very friendly people although it’s best to have everything in writing! Overall the house is great, minor quality issues in building and they will respond eventually, patience is key working with them. At the end of the day, we are happy but bumpy road to get there.

My responses reflect the nature of construction and the workmanship provided. We have had numerous warranty issues and found multiple points of careless installation practices. If it wasn't for your sales team and their commitment to deliver on good customer service and product, much of our issues would have gone unaddressed with "canned" responses from our designated home warranties manager. The price we paid for the home is not reflective in the product delivered or the care after the home was turned over.
