Overall, we are satisfied with our new house. However, I feel that our concerns were not heard throughout the building process. Once our house was complete, there were multiple issues that still have not been fixed because we were passed on to the service department. It feels that as soon as we signed the final documents, the customer service went away.

We like the home but immediately had plumbing issues. This was not all Khovnanians fault as the city had connected some pipes incorrectly, but I do feel it should have been caught by an inspection ahead of time and not once we had moved in. The city finally fixed the pipes but I am still waiting for KHovnanian to replace my grass.

The property was turned over to me with outside water drainage problems. I am not happy.

House is great but add on smart package and you aren’t being smart. A total waste of money and time spent in having to chase what you paid for. Months later and still not working nor complete with no estimated completion date given. I would suggest if you want a smart home you do it through an outside party. After care is hit and miss. Twice we have waited home for our punch list items to be completed with no shows. Totally disorganized and very disappointing.

Follow up to problems is terrible. Walk through before final closing was a mess. Project manager just wanted to dump us to move on to next project. No personal attention to problems and there were many. Andy was good . The whole neighborhood is dissatisfied. We have talked to several neighbors. Now this new portal is a joke. Even for emergencies you have to email. If my house burns down because we can't get through, I hold KHov responsible.

We recently built our home with KHov, and our experience has been a mix of highs and lows. The sales team was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable, helpful, and truly made the process smooth from the start. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the Warranty team, which has been disappointing at best. The biggest issue, however, has been the quality of workmanship, particularly with the drywall and painting. The level of craftsmanship is far below expectations with noticeable imperfections throughout. For the investment we made in our home, we expected much better attention to detail. Although overall experience in buying home was alright, the final product and quality of workmanship is very poor. I would not recommend buying home from Khov as the price paid versus the quality of house designed and finishes are poorly in nature.

There are many things around the house that have not being fixed even though we have reported them.

Simple warranty issues seem to take abnormally long to be fixed, even when they are simple fixes. Once they have your money, no urgency to fix the issues their contractors created. I would not expect the same service after sales that you get when you are purchasing. Sales people are good, ultimately they are not involved after the purchase. Customer is not first once the sale is completed.

Horrible quality of workmanship and cheap products put on home

The building process took 16 months . The paint on the inside is a joke . The riser on the inside steps are buckling and the paint is pealling off .

Nothing was done right. So many repairs needed from holes in walls. Doors splitting, whole house needed to be repainted. Cheap quality

Will never buy a Khov home again!

They installed the dead sod in lawn and never replaced. The house was super dirty when we moved.

Looks like home was rush made. 3 months in and we have pop nails, creaking in floorboards, uneven laminate, door knobs falling off door, ceilings and walls are uneven, and we had to repair hvac 2 times since March.

Still waiting on stuff from construction since we moved in! This is the worse experience EVER!!!!!

We closed on our 'dream home' with Khov in May of 2022. We waited over a year and a half for the home to be completed. We were sold on the idea of a custom home delivery, with craftsman who take pride in their work and deliver a top notch product. What we received was a nightmare. I've now converted into what feels like a full time construction project manager. The VP of operations for Khov got involved months ago and assured me he would personally make things right. Unfortunately, no progress has been made. We have serious safety concerns yet to be addressed that include electrical issues, exterior doors that do not function properly and a broken truss in our attic that was knowingly installed without appropriate guidance and sign-off of a structural engineer. We're now nearly 4 months in to what is a 12 month warranty period with no real progress. I've scheduled time away from work to accommodate repairs only to have the the people who are scheduled to do the work not show up. This process has been immensely stressful on my family and we could not be more disappointed in the experience we've had with Khov thus far. Let's just say, the home has too many imperfections. If you have a job that you're not good at, quit and find something else to do. The door frame/stopper doesn't come down to the floor, there are holes where there should be some form of grout. The corners of each wall were there is a door frame was never painted. We had electrical issues that took 3 trips to correct. We have only lived in this home for 1 month and I am so nervous at to what else we will find. The responsiveness to our issues has been slow. I cannot put a bar of soap in the bathtub because it comes right out. The tub is hollow in certain areas. ... More

I would them to know that the workmanship was deplorable. Josh, who unfortunately left the company was responsive and interested in correcting the problems by holding the worker accountable. I was very upsetting when he left. Logan is outstanding, however he is overworked.

Lack of attention to detail.

Once we signed for the house it all went down hill from there. We are just another number they will eventually get to. A long list from the gold key walkthrough was never taken care of.. I’m sitting at just over a month in the house and the list is just as long. Biggest items dishwasher, electrical panel door and my kitchen hardware still not fixed. SMH lesson learned cause now they got the money for the house they don’t feel the need to fix the crap they fell short on

The quality of installing of the finishes were poor at best. The doors will not close right,

Very bad experience found lots of problems after closing, everything was rushed and poorly put together. The front elevation was wrong found several uncaulk areas nails sticking out, found muddy puddle under carpet, cracks in several areas too many problems to mention looks like the house was just thrown together without any consideration

This is a terrible company, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking to purchase one of their homes or build one. Except for the sales team, the entire process was nothing but mistakes and excuses for why things were late or done incorrectly.
