K. Hovnanian® Homes Reviews

The real estate agent Greg was great. Although, we have experienced many calls to Matt to have the contractors fix our floor/countertop/master shower. Matt the construction manager is attentive to our questions and requests. KHOV Mortgage was not the same story.

We received the best experience from everyone including John! He helped make everything go smoothly as possible and went the extra mile to ensure that everything was done to our satisfaction, Thanks for your tremendous help and dedication! We really enjoy our new beautiful home.

There are several issues with the house that have not been fixed. I am very unhappy in kovanian homes warranty service depot. I feel I got ripped off buy buying this house

The entire process was smooth and painless. Everyone I dealt with, sales, construction, and finance were courteous, professional and responsive. I couldn't be happier. A special thanks to Shelby, Paul and Jodi for there assistance!

Looooove our new home! But it seems that the builders cut way too many corners or don’t pay attention to detail. Many cosmetic flaws are very noticeable even to our visitors. Our fence was falling apart when we moved in. Khov was quick to fix which is good! But since the area where I purchased my khov home prices homes high, I would think they put in more supervision to each home that is built. Walk throughs are not enough.

good.

Love our home if any issues very fast to come and fix

The experience was great, but some things have been taking a while to get done. Which with covid19 it is understandable in some ways. Overall, the house is great and the process was great as well, it is a very nice home and no had/has no major issues. Would recommend to family/relative/friends/coworkers and anyone else.

Nice place to live.

Process was easy and enjoyable. From the initial visits to the model homes to the final signing. We could not be any happier with this home.

Home buying process made easy.

Expectations met and exceeded at all interactions with k hovanian staff and partners. Really good job.

Some of the workmanship was less than par ( Paint & Tile). Some of the promises such as adding more flooring and step up to 2nd level in the attic was never performed. Sloppy concrete on brick, cracked concrete in the garage step. Other than those items were fairly happy with everything.

Bought a spec home that was just perfect for our needs. From sales to maintenance, everybody was responsive and informative.

Wendy is an incredible sales person!! Very flexible and fun to work with. Steven, Nick and Jake have been very responsive to resolve issues. Everyone is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Your team is top notch!

Never had issues through the whole process, very quick to answer concerns when we had them.

Build and punch-list were not without issues, but the builder was very responsive. Overall I feel like we had far fewer issues than friends and relatives have had with other builders. Overall we are a satisfied customer, and have no regrets.

All in all, the process was really good and any bumps we experienced were managed satisfactorily.

We moved into our new home a month ago and we could not be any happier. Our construction manager, Garrett, was especially helpful with getting settled in and addressing minor issues we came across. Garrett was incredible and gave us peace of mind with our concerns. The KHOV Mortgage team was also exceptional! They were very detailed and responsive at all times. Melissa made all the paperwork process a breeze. We are delighted with the performance and quality of KHOV. The KHOV staff was wonderful to work with.

Even though we did not move to the new home: *our sink has RUST on it and its has to be fixed or changed. They said it will be fixed. I wanted to be documented that if after being fixed the sink still started rusting, IT HAS TO BE CHANGED. *as a result of rain, our basement got wet and had some water. it is very very bad to move to a house which damaged by rain water. *The sump pump was not draining. This problem has been fixed. *The air filter for air condition system was so bad and it was black even though no one used it yet. They put the used and damage one in there!!. This problem has been fixed. ... More

I highly recommend this builder and team! Couldn’t be happier with our new home. Meredith was excellent and helpful throughout the whole process.

My sales representative made my home buying experience painless and non stressful. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone throughout the experience was kind and helpful and continues to be even after I’ve been living here for a month. I love my home and I know I will be happy here for a very long time.

excellent costumer service

K Hovnanian was by far the most helpful of the builders in the area and not pushy or aggressive whatsover. The salesmanship was top notch. They went at our pace, never overreached and was always available to take the time and answer any questions during the decision to build a home. Once we decided to go with K Hovnanian, they kept us updated weekly as far as the building process/status went. We closed right around when they had estimated we would close and the closing process was a breeze with K Hovnanian.

Our home is immaculate, The site realtor Shauna and site manager Mike were fantastic, we appreciate all their help and insight, My only issue came with getting a loan officer to start the process. We were shuffled between three different loan officers and had two different loan processors. We are thankful for our home and I did refer my friend to Khov their new home build.
