K. Hovnanian® Homes Reviews

Could be very good, but getting punch list items taken care of has been slow. It seems if you do not constantly ask, nothing gets done. Outside quality seems better than inside. Lots of little flaws. Some in materials and some in workmanship.

Go with K Hov.

The service is excellent and easy to work with. If a problem come up it was taken care of right away

The builders that built our house was great!

My wife and I really enjoyed our first home buying experience. K. Hov is very friendly, hard working, and knowledgeable. They have gone above and beyond to help us ensure a smooth home-buying experience

My experience with K. Hovnanian Homes has been truly amazing, without our sales rep Ashely, my family without any doubt in our minds believe we would have not been able to take the step to purchase this beautiful Wilmington home. The thing we absolutely admired was how Ashely explained everything so thoroughly to us that when we got to the process of the the actual home loan, we were more than ready. We had all documents we needed so the process wouldn't be a slow one, as we were super excited. Then when it came to our most kind and humble loan officer Kevin, who had a very huge hand in helping us achieve our most desired dream of owning a home. Kevin was brilliant, he answered every question we had. Even though we were going through a pandemic Kevin's advice in his profession helped us secure our loan which we promise to K. Hovnanian Homes to payoff. Last but not least my one of the greatest people we met during all this was Gary, the most passionate builder I have ever met. During our first meeting he explained the layout of the house so well even though it was not fully built. He showed us what our dream was beginning to look like and we were excited that this all was coming along just perfectly. Gary's explanation of the home's every corner got us ready for what was to come. Gary showed us everything from top to bottom further preparing us for how to keep this beautiful house maintained. Any question I ever had, Gary was there. Without any doubt in my mind, Ashely, Kevin and Gary are truly a dream team that make dreams comes true. I want to thank them all once again for everything they have done for us during this home loan process. We are thankful and humbled by the great hospitality and service provided to us my K. Hovnanian homes and all three who worked with us. Every time we see the name Ashley, Kevin and Gary anywhere we will always remember of how great and impactful they were in our lives. ... More

I am very happy with the process and outcome of this whole experience. My house is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. The only issue I have is the water pressure. It is not as strong as it should be. Was told to go to the County to get this reconciled.

Started looking for a home in 2018 wasn’t too familiar with Khov or the Mont Belvieu area in 2019 a friend told us about this area and this builder we went and saw the model Easton II and here we are 6 months later loving our new home. Heather was our sales rep and she was so patient, helpful and kind. We had a gentlemen named Justin for our construction manager who kept us in the loop about every step of the build as we requested. I could go on and on about how Knov has met and exceeded our expectations, but it’s truly something you need to experience for yourself.

Miranda D Les A & Carlos

The company lied to us about drainage issues on the property from Day one and created a false appraisal of the new home, cheating out and lying to federal regulators.

So far, I've had no issues with the process of buying my K.Hov home. The builder and sales staff have been resourceful and prompt to any questions I might have. I don't have any issues thus far with craftsmanship and materials, but it's too early to tell. That said, I truly feel like I'm in a well-built house that will be everything I was looking for in the many years to come.

I wish that khov used better materials in their homes.

This was my first new build so I'm not sure what the norm is. With that said, I wasn't blown away with my experience. I'm happy with my home and I was pleased with the end result but it took a lot of back and forth to get it there. The most impressive part of the experience was after I closed. I had an emergency situation and Jay was there for me. That meant a lot. The only real negative was the preliminary final walk. I think we all learned from that experience. As the title stated, there's always room for improvement.

It has been a good experience from start to finish. Helen and team did a great job and I really appreciate the support I have received throughout the entire home buying experience.

Everything has been great so far

Great team to work with from start to closing.

Very friendly staff, especially Jordan and Adam. They have been extremely helpful through this process.

The construction manager was great! The sales practice and tactics need another look, but overall they came together in the end.

Everyone has been great and very responsive. Home looks great, only complaint is there is grout that still needs to be cleaned around one of my bathrooms

Great home demonstration from Ivan and sales service from Michael

We are part of KHOV family for the second time . We are very happy with the quality and the friendly approach.

K.Hovnanian homes did a great job and stood up to their promises– selling in one month and even without my presence. If anyone of my friends in Richmond ever needs a home, I am going to recommend this builder. I liked your professional work, immediate responses and overall knowledge. Five cheers to you!

It was great

they are excellent

Run around on getting issues corrected in a timely manner. If the home owner does not follow up multiple times nothing happens. Even then the odds of getting if fix are low. Half the time they pawn you off on the sub-contractors.
