We had a few hiccups with the selection process. Be sure to be clear about what you want during this process and follow up on whether or not it is being implemented during the building process. Overall we were extremely pleased with the outcome of our home. Aside from the nails in the carpet that were not nailed down properly, we didn't have many complaints.

I would never buy a home from them again due to their lender challenges. The list is much to long to explain in an email and quite frankly, I dont want to re-live the experience!! The sales staff were very good and very professional, that is where it ended and the pain began!

Couldn’t have been any easier!

Poor exterior paint, poor flooring Quality.

Sales team and crew were responsive and helpful prior to closing. Closing process (even with pandemic restrictions) was quite smooth. However, one month after closing our backyard is still nothing but dirt...except after it rains when it becomes a swamp. Very unhappy with responsiveness of the developer and builder to complete the grading and sod on the property.

We didn’t face any hurdle while purchasing or moving to the new house. Joe and Mark did good job.

The sale consultant are nice.

The sales process was strong however the overall craftsmanship is below average especially when paying premium amounts for upgrades and features. Attention to detail was below average as well. The completion was nearly one month behind schedule. The construction communication and past follow-up responsiveness to issues has been strong.

Beyond happy with my home, the sales agent Patty is awesome very helpful and she makes you feel welcomed.

Our experience working with K. Hovanian homes was absolutely wonderful and must say that we are extremely happy with our decision to have proceeded. We are now deeply in love with Rancho Murieta and of course our new home that we have moved into. Also it was a big toss between gated community preowned homes and the new homes by K Hovanian and we are truly glad to have made this decision to have decided on the new homes! We love the quality of these homes and the new area and the neighbors are exceptionally charming and wonderful as well. Thank you Jesus! Just love it here!

Great customer service

I do not recommend purchasing a new home with k hovnanian.

The townhome was delivered on time and as promised. Very few issues encountered in the first month post-closing. They are being resolved in a timely fashion and with excellent customer service despite the unfortunate timing with the COVID 19 virus

Overall, this was a very good home-buying experience for us. The contractual language in the earnest money contract was vague and this created a misunderstanding. I believe this has been corrected.

We had the most incredible experience building our new home with KHOV. Our journey started with the best salesperson a buyer could ever ask for in Peter! He was so helpful and kept us in the loop on everything. He made sure our home buying experience was the best! Once the construction stage started we were introduced to another employee who is the best Construction Manager in the business, his name is Charlie! From start to finish, he answered all of our questions, helped us with everything we asked and was one of the most friendliest persons we have ever met. Not only did he make our experience fun and exciting but he made it personal and we always felt like we were in the best hands. He made us laugh and also kept us informed on anything and everything. From the time I walked into the model home until my house was finished, the customer service provided by Jordan was fantastic. I never felt pressured to add anything to the home that I didn't feel was necessary. Throughout the process, I was able to monitor the construction of my home and anytime I had a question, there was always someone available to help. Since the completion of my home, I have had one warranty claim. The warranty process to file a claim is very easy and the response was very quick. K. Hovnanian team was very nice and helpful; the only issue was that the materials used for the cabinets and doors are not as high quality as i expected. Other than that, everything was fine.

My wife and I had a great buying experience and found a great deal on the model home. Sale went smoothly but then we started to find all the poor quality materials in the house causing minor problems which we are now replacing/fixing. Replacing toilets, towel bars, floors are squeaking all throughout the house and have to run electric to the wet bar that has a mini fridge but no plug to power it under the bar.

Our experience with K. Hovnanian Homes was flawless from start to finish. We are beyond happy with the finished product and love our new home! The sale’s consultant was cheerful and kind. Our construction manager was incredible to work with; he is such a great guy! He took the time to communicate with us so that we were always up to speed and understood the timeline and process. Do not feel bad if you do not know where to start, for your new house, ask the representatives of the realtor, any concerns They will guide you correctly, and will also will indicate all the steps for the acquisition of your new house, and will know how to respond appropriately and suggest the solution to your questions
