K. Hovnanian® Homes Reviews

My husband and I love our new home ! It’s everything we wanted and more. Harvey was a pleasure to work with, along with everyone else at K.Hovnavian.

The design and upgrade selection process was very aggravating. The Design Center manager failed to show up at our appointment. This was after a long trip for us and friends who joined us. When we did look at the available items and materials, we were very disappointed with the remaining choices. We contracted with First Choice Electrical for low-voltage wiring of audio/visual and cable. During construction the house was wired incorrectly and had to be rewired. After moving in we found more errors in wiring. It took much complaining and six visits to correct!! I've heard complaints from other homeowners about First Choice. ... More

Eldridge Park is home indeed. Located in a very serene environment , Property is well built with quality material and good finishing. The responses to issues is prompt. Great people you can trust working you through all the process from the sales office to your closing( wish I can mention lovely names) Highly recommended, Come join the ride.

Process was quick and easy. Craftsmanship was a bit lacking, just messy in some respect. LOVE the area.

Nice house

I want to thank K. Hovnanian® Homes for building my dream home and making me extremely excited. I am overwhelmed with joy being in my new home. I can't stress enough about the sales person Karen who helped make my dreams come true. She made me feel she did all she could to make me a very happy customer. She has been there for my calls and responded in a timely manner. Her associates Dale, Tim, and Ian all have treated me with the utmost respect and made me feel welcome to my new community and home. I appreciate all of you and I wish you all the best. I would recommend K. Hovnanian to everyone if you want to have a great experience buying your new home. ... More

This is my first time buying a brand new house. Was always older homes, I was very pleased with the project manager Mike. He went above and beyond helping with issues after the house was closed on. I had a few issues with the sales people, all I can say is make sure to read all the fine print. I sent my concerns to the builder about The sales part this but never heard back from them. As far as the work and quality of the home again I can’t say any bad things and only good things about the project manager. He really has a passion to make sure you love your new home. Thanks Mike!

Credible and Dependable! I'm thankfully satisfied because the agent was very helpful.

I would recommend anyone to buy with you or at least try to

My house is beautiful and feels like it is a very well built home - very solid. All of the employees are very helpful and very polite and friendly. This has been a great buying experience.

Everyone from sales associate Tamara, construction manager Tim and The people at KHovnanian mortgage (Odalis and Lisandra) were outstanding. What a great home buying experience!

Not bad

K. Hovnanian Homes are beautifully designed, authentic homes. What attracts me to the K. Hovnanian homes are there diverse home construction designs. The homes are built from material of excellent standard. I should know, since I used to work in the Civil Engineering industry, and I know quality and standard in building construction when I see one. The homes are designed with energy efficient in mind. The backyard is very spacious, having a exterior 10 feet fence and perfect for hosting the holidays. Designed to create an ideal balance between being independent and for togetherness. I am very please and proud of my new home. Excellent service! Thanks Khov. God bless. ... More

Poor paint job throughout. Some windows don’t lock or even close without massive drafts. Tons and tons of nail pops that it is embarrassing to invite people over. Terrible toilet handles. The washers that hold the handles in place come loose weekly and I feel like a plumber/handyman. At least we are all home bound for another month. Great more problems and cannot get them fixed until our 11th month.

Great Experience from start to finish!

Nice neighborhood, However, lacks the quality of work performed on the home (such as poor and incomplete paintwork, paint bubbles in the master bathroom walls, left cigarette butts through the front and backyard, incomplete landscaping, jobs incomplete throughout the home, trash left during building the home, and lack of consistency performed), My list of the items needing to fix continues to grow. I regret my purchase and would sell if I could. Sincerely, Unhappy with my home purchase

Some things I like and some I dont.

The lady showing the house (Beth) - terrible experience with her. Sorry to say not trustworthy. Good experience with Robert - site manager.

I have to commend the team here (Matthew, Kevin and Mark) for taking a rough situation and making it shine! Way to go....

Great work! Both seller and construction site manager were very helpful and were able answer all my questions.

Excellent all around

I recommend KHOV for new home buyers.

Actually, I was going to send few lines to the builder through the sales agent about my home buying experience and final choice. However, this rating has summarized it all. The materials used in the building, as well as the appliances and fixtures are of very good quality. The space was maximally used to advantage! The company's representatives that I met and dealt with are honest and painstaking in attending and listening to the client! The sales agent appears innovative and friendly. My first time of hearing about the builder and thanks to the family member who brought me to see the property. ... More
