Make sure they show you all options for upgrades. Don’t take no for an answer always push for what you want. If you see something that is not right speak up. Ask as many questions.

Great team to work with both sales and construction management. Issues were addressed and resolved quickly.

Every member of the company that I interacted with directly was incredibly helpful every step of the way. I was able to design my house to the smallest detail, and I am incredibly satisfied with the overall result. They were able to work with me to accommodate my schedule, and they worked to finish my unit as soon as possible so that I could move in with ease before the school year really got going (I'm a teacher). I greatly appreciate all of the wonderful K Hovnanian did for me.

The Sales Representative and Construction Manger are very customer service oriented. They provide great feedback and advice during the process.

As soon as we toured our home we knew it was the one. No one pushed to buy. Customer Service was over the top, we enjoyed every minute with our sales man. The Construction Manager is also AMAZING he has answered every concerns or questions we had. We have loved being apart of the K. Hovnanian Family.

My experience with the K.Hovnanian construction foreman (superintendent, I assume) has been great, and the warranty folks have proven to be reliable, thus far. Both the warranty folks and lead foreman have proven to be courteous, helpful and responsive to home owners. My experience with the office sales agent(s) was good in the beginning but a few weeks prior to closing the trust that had been built was completely shattered - this breakdown of trust sits squarely on sales agents shoulders as it was discovered that a mandatory addendum, solar panel addendum, that should have been presented during the initial signing of the purchase agreement was withheld and then presented a few weeks prior to closing. This issue created a lot of heartache/stress on my end and what should have been one of the happiest experiences of my life turned into a nightmare - lots of sleepless nights, anxiety, anger and sadness; all of it unnecessary and avoidable had the sales agents been honest and upfront. What's worse is no sincere apology or offer to make right what had been wronged was provided. This negative experience ruined my "Golden Key" moment! Picking up the key to my home should have been happy and celebratory, instead it filled me with dread and anxiety because I had to pick up the key from the sales office which meant dealing directly with the sales agent(s) who made the latter half of my home buying experience miserable!! That was especially sad because I will never get that moment back!! ... More

The home is great love the floor plan and the community. There has been some issues with the home but the technicians are on top of everything they are very understanding and have no problem fixing issues that arise. Of course not every new home will be perfect so make sure everything works properly before the 1 year warranty is up.

As a new buyer with K Hovnanian it went well. House is lovely and cozy to live.

Brandi who worked with us from the beginning was great and Albert the "man on the ground" with the builders was really good!

Building process was amazing. Carl(Boulder) went out of his way all the time to satisfy our needs.

Our home is beautiful but there has been a lack of quality re-work on concern areas.

Yard flooded during first heavy rain. Concealed poor drainage before closing, I would not have purchased this home if I knew how bad the drainage of the lot and house were. I would like to sell the house back if possible. I don’t trust anyone from this organization and feel this problem was concealed from me

We didn't have a smooth move in due to delays but the crew was absolutely fantastic. Huge shout out to Yazeed & Jack for being fantastic in helping address issues. Thanks to them, we were able to settle in quickly.

My family and I are very happy with our new home. The K.Hov team is excellent.

Sales office at Canyon Falls is great. Tanya and her team are great, detailed oriented and answered all our questions. Even though there were some construction delays and our closing had to be pushed back twice, the construction manager was in constant contact with us and were able to work with us considering we were closing on Christmas eve. Even with a new construction manager Cody coming on board, he was able to answer all our questions and complete our asks. The main issue we had with this whole buying process was with the mortgage division of KHOV. There are way too many people contacting us. We counted at least 8 different KHOV mortgage team members calling and emailing us about different documents they needed, but never passing the baton to the next person or at least informing us that so many people will be contacting us. In today's world of fraud and scams, how are we supposed to know who is legit or not. There should only be one point of contact from the mortgage division. Then the closing and walk through meetings that the mortgage division set up was completely different than what I had agreed to with Cody, so we had to get involved again and sort out their communication issues. Now come time to pay first mortgage payment and there's no proper notification to all parties on the mortgage. Immediately after the first payment, KHOV is selling it off to Wells Fargo, so now we have to setup a whole other payment channel. All this because our old house hasn't sold yet. This whole experience was amazing and so is our home.

Overall a good build. Had some issues with the wiring lights in living room but KH was quick to repair. Also had my heater go out in the first month for unknown reasons.

Patty was extremely helpful and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for helping me get into my new lovely home.

Overall, the home has turned out to be about what we expected. There were several frustrations in the home building process; most notably, the kitchen we were promised turned out to be the result of an incorrect drawing, making it impossible to build as shown. This caused a 2-week setback and a major reworking of the kitchen that resulted in other issues. We now have a dysfunctional dishwasher that is drilled to the floor instead of on legs, which means that in order to repair it, we will inevitably need to have our kitchen floors torn up in the coming weeks. Our lawn has been described by our service manager as “in really bad shape” and stated that he is getting a bid to have the entire yard “reworked.” As with any new home, ours has its share of problems. The aforementioned, grouting issues, chipped sinks, painting eyesores, etc. Overall, it is a beautiful home that looks as we had hoped cosmetically. Hoping to get these larger issues resolved efficiently, and the service manager has been very helpful to that end so far. I understand that not all KHov customers can say the same about their service manager, so I count ourselves lucky for that. ... More

We're very happy and satisfied with our new home built by KHovnanian. The entire KHovnanian team is very good and they place our satisfaction on very top. Throughout our home building process they keep me informed each week and I always can come to visit to check progress. They listen and take care of all of my concerns and the result is amazing. Even after the closing, they are very responsive whenever I submit request for the warranty service. I highly recommend the KHov team.

Overall the whole buying process from beginning to the end was very smooth. I got help instantly everytime. Would definitely buy another K. HOV.
