I recently purchased a home at The Preserve at Meadow Lakes. I had the pleasure of working with Monica B. at the sales office and Melissa, the warranty specialist. They were both lovely to work with and made the buying experience seamless. Both are extremely professional, knowledgeable and respond to any and all questions. I would highly recommend the sales team here when looking for a new home. I wake up happy everyday because I love my new house!!!!!

We bought the Model home, and the quality and speed of service we received after we moved in was outstanding.

We are delighted with our new home at the Preserve at Meadow Lakes in North Ridgeville. The house is everything we were looking and hoping for and is perfect for us. The purchase and the construction processes went as promised and we actually got our home ahead of the originally scheduled construction timeline. Everything we wanted in our home was delivered and the people that we worked with were friendly, responsive and supportive throughout. The sales team members were terrific to work with and communicated fully throughout the entire process. We are particularly impressed with construction manager Steve Butwinski and Service Manager Melissa Tessman who have been fully responsive, helpful and delightful to work with at every step. This was our first home build and we really enjoyed the process. From beginning to end we were informed of what was going on in the home and aware of any issues that popped up. My questions were answered quickly and thoroughly prior to moving into the home. Nothing feels cheap or poorly finished. I can tell there was a lot of attention to detail and the entire process was professionally managed.

Everything was great and they were prompt when dealing with issues. Good value for your money.

My wife and I had been looking at houses in Northern Virginia all day with no luck. No one was building the type house that we wanted. The last house that we looked at was a model home in Melody Farms built by K. Hovnanian. When we walked in the door we knew this was the house for us. It was big and beautiful with all the options that we have dreamed of. It had a super kitchen, a large two story Great Room and a Basement that would make any man happy. The house is very well designed and very well built. Everyone at K Hovnanian was great to work with. I don't know if I will ever buy another new house, but If I do I hope it's a K. Jeremy, Meredith and Nia were awesome and were always doing their best to find out the answers to our questions. They made us feel comfortable and talked us through the whole process as best as they could.

We love our new home. In general we were pleased with the outcome. There were some things that we pointed out during our walk through that needed to be addressed that as of today have not been completed.

There is a definate lack of quality control during the handover to the owner. It is clear that during the build all trash, excess nails, wires, screws are just swept into the backyard and burried. The features are not well thought out do not work well with all models. Some features do NOT have professional planning involved, it seems they where options to raise the overall purchase price. Every container of paint left was open and unsealed. Many minor details that lead to a long lasting easy to maintain home are overlooked or not an option. The finance company associated with KHOV should be audited and does not follow proper protocol. The floor is very nice. Cabinets are worth the upgraded stain. The neighborhood here has a good vibe and the abjacent open desert is nice for walks. ... More

Craftsmanship and quality from builder do not match price range for what house is worth. I've spent 280k on previous home in Clovis CA and everything about Wilson homes exceeded expectations. Insensitives from Wilson's where amazing and could not be beat. This new home is not worth the price we paid. I don't understand how I spent twice as much on this new home and it does not compete with the house previously purchased. After final walkthrough of home there are still several issues with washer, walls, cracks, glass, lights, and heating. Its very dificult to schedule to get issues fixed do to work schedule. ... More

Where to begin. First, the POC changed during construction without notice. We only found out because we hadn’t heard from anyone for so long we emailed and days later got a response. The few times I had to call to inquire about updates for signing or scheduling, they hired part time who didn’t know and refused to get the info. We closed sooner than expected, however, many issues unseen at the time came to the forefront and when we submitted a “ticket” for service nothing happened. The biggest disappointment was the amount of ants that invaded our home. Scores and scores of them. I had to reseal areas that should have been taken care of during construction such as the kitchen and pantry. I was unable to establish entry to portal designed to support homeowners and no one knew how to resolve the issue. It took a week before i given a possible POC email to resolve the issue, but why would I want to hassle with that again? The foreman was the main saving grace. His kindness and professionalism is the only reason I haven’t been further disappointed. ... More

I love our new home. It exceeds our expectation in everyway.

After buying I saw that it was not functionally designed, the materials are regular. the lighting of the complex is very bad, they designed the complex to have no visit. They say things to sell and then do not comply with the provisions.

We were very disappointed with our new home. The workmanship and materials were not what we expected for the price we paid for our new K. Hovnanian Home. Some of the issues -- the paint was thin, the carpet and pad are low quality even though we paid for an upgrade; the seams on the carpet are sticking out in most of the doorways; the grout work is very poor quality; a couple of the bathroom sinks were chipped and the repair work was shoddy at best; the frames of the windows and sliding glass doors are stained with paint/sealant and were not cleaned; and the house had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our moving in. ... We are so happy with the way our new home has been built. The builders are passionate about what they do and they never fail to the extra mile to make sure they meet the satisfaction of the homeowner. I am happy to have made the right choice.

The best part was the front sales end who worked constantly with us and our unforeseen issues with the Sale of our house. Juliet was always available, always attentive and always flexible with our situation. Once in the house Anthony and Jimmy were also very accommodating and responsive. Some issues still need to be addressed but I have complete confidence that this team wants us happy and all to be taken care of asap

Sales person/manager/design center need some training so they are on the same page! Quality of work sucks! Contractors maybe paid on the very low salary and maybe not license. Came on some weekends with the contractor family on site kids playing (age ranging from 6 yrs old to 15 yrs old) on my very expensive upgrade flooring....The schedule for some touch up/repair is more than the wait of doctors appointment! Wall uneven and dusty, carpet is not covered while they in and out the house for some electrical issues, making holes on several spot on the wall for electrical access. Those holes they make still visible because of the texture is not the same. Right now still having issues with the cabinets and parts maybe available next month. ... More

We really love our new home and beautiful community. It has been a wonderful experience working with the entire KHOV family. It has truly been a blessing to work with such an exceptional team. The love and professionalism they have shown toward us from day one is awesome! I am especially grateful to Tara, Dave, and Ann they are truly the greatest. I really appreciate all of the personal time and and care they gave us and all of their expertise. This really meant a lot to us.

Everyone has been supportive and helpful throughout the whole process. Made a potentially tedious process fun and enjoyable!
