Well my review might be a little different if I wasn't currently watching my 71 year old husband using a rototiller, a rake and wheelbarrow to flatten a backyard that should have been graded before we moved in. This house was supposed to be our "not do anything to it cuz it's new" house...well not so. I wish I knew 3 months ago what I know now. I would not have bought new let a lone a KHOV house. Connie L is fabulous and Adam is fabulous. I'm quite sure Adam's work load is impossible to keep up with, and perhaps if the contractors did their job correctly in the first place, Adam's job would be doable. I'm here 3 months I still don't have painted wood trim from where the warped pieces have been replaced, I still have tape from the original walk through that haven't been addressed. My house is a quick move that has been vacant 7 months before I moved in, and it's impossible to keep my floors clean because my backyard is nothing but mud ALWAYS!! Now as far as the design of the house itself......I wish I would have been more focused on it when I first looked as again I would not have bought it, so please take these suggestions and present them to whomever designs your houses. There is literally nowhere to put your shoes when you walk in the house...no front closet or mudroom...I HATE THAT...when you walk in my house your greeted with smelly shoes...YAY!! No place to put guests coats or shoes. This is a daffodil house in case you didn't know...there is no light switch for the small bedrooms to access the main hallway, so if you get up at 5:30 am and it's dark you have to fumble your way to the light switch by the door...there is no light coming out if the master bedroom hallway....you've essentially given us a 320k box....youre so cheap that you couldn't give us 2 carriage lights outside, no window on the front door. I could go on and an, but I'm SUPER disappointed, and I have family and friends looking to move and as much as I'd love to have them for neighbors I will not be recommending this builder....sad ... Our purchase experience and process of building was excellent. Since completion, we have had 2 issues that we cannot get KHov to respond to. One with our irrigation system and now with a failed inspection by the Lewes water department.

We do like our new home but unfortunately there is zero response to issues. I would expect some issues but a timely response would go a long way. A brick fell off the house several weeks ago and it’s still sitting there. We moved in on March 1st and still do not have a graded yard or any communication as to why newer homes around us have been graded/seeded and ours is still dirt. Everyone has garage door hardware but not us. Some not exterior painting was completely missed and left untouched. That’s not a huge deal but it’s adding to our irritation. this house is very well done, there some small details that i would have different! but over all i give the experience a 98 percent out of 100! i have only been here 3 months , i will see how the future brings to us?! thanks. craig

I enjoyed the home buying process. The Sales Consultant, Homeowner Service Manager, and builder have been extremely helpful and supportive in the home buying process. All of them made homebuyers process run smoothly for me. Thank you to all for my lovely home.

The warranty department has been doing a good job on fixing items for my new home. Most of the issues were minors and they fixed these items quickly, and to make sure they operate properly. Alvaro has been coordinating and supporting me to make sure the issues will be fixed.

The process of buying was smooth and enjoyable. However, the quality and craftsmanship has proved to be an issue. I do have confidence they will assist with making things better.

Our process from start to finish was really easy to work with all parties involved, from sales, to construction, to financing. We are very happy with our choices we made. Thanks K HOV :-)

It’s great experience as first time buyer, process is very smooth and simple

I was promised on the document for 8000$ + incentive,when I initially signed the house stating if i go with khov mortage i would get the incentive .But before closing I was send a reviewed document removing the incentive and was not explained any thing . When I approached the sales then there was no proper reason y it was removed . It took 8 months for khove to realize to remove the incentive in the documentation?.with no reason .and I mentiond this in the last review as well and no one from khov is least bothered to call us back. $8000k+ is a huge mount to us . In the last min b4 the closing when the reviewed document with no incentive was send for signature , we emailed head of the sales , and no one responded . That means iam left with no choise but just signing the document SINCE MY INITIAL DOWNPAYMENT IS WITH KHOVE. LITERALLY IAM LOCKED . Is this how khov responds to customers ... Iam still and every day regrete that I lost $8000k incensitive WITH OUT ANY EXPLINATION.. So today I am sending a review , will kohv responds to us ? Very disappointed with the quality of the workmanship as well as the quality of the products being used in the construction. Right now, I have a major issue with 2 bathroom tubs that pop and crack everytime you step in them and the issue still hasn't been resolved going on 2 months now. Very disappointing. Would not recommend this builder to anyone.

I have a decent experience but in a rush to finish the closing at the earliest and handover to client, builders left several things. I had to raise tickets for multiple issues and i am still raising issues and following up every week. Good thing is they are addressing all the issues without fail but raising tickets and following up each time is a pain.

We have no street lights tot lot and no trees.

We love our location and floor plan. As far as the 6 month process from ground breaking to close of escrow, I would give the sales and construction team a "C" Grade

Had a horrible experience With k hovanian Mortgage team. They were too many people that we were dealing with and sending paperwork to without any timely response. Very poor communication from their end.

The actual home-buying process and the people involved at first were great. However, now that I have lived in the home for almost three months I am disappointed with a lot of elements of the home. The workmanship does not match the price tag. There have been many issues we've already had to address with the warranty department (Steven is amazing!!), and others that have not yet been resolved. The contractors they used for the concrete (CGI) were an absolute mess. I had workers yelling at me on my property for trying to access the home I was living in, as well as cracks in my driveway on brand-new concrete that had just been left by their team. Whoever painted the inside of the house did not show any attention to detail, there are many imperfections throughout this home. Running paint left dried bumps on the wall where it is visible to a person at eye level, how do they miss that? The carpet transitions are terrible, I step on metal all of the time. The cleanup crew was a mess, there are STILL pencil marks on the LVP flooring I am finding throughout the house. My front door is dented and still not fixed, my garage door makes grinding noises when it opens, and so much more. I was so pleased with the staff I worked with in buying the home, but the rest of the process has left a lot to be desired for a nearly 600k price tag. ... More

It has been a great experience to live in the community. They keep everything well maintained. Very quiet.

Don't jump into anything. There are many new builds out there, with many new communities (and builders) to select from. Do your due diligence in researching before jumping into anything.

What a blessing, the whole experience !

As first time homebuyers, my husband and I expected a much better finshed product, however we were sadly disappointed. Khov's home building process is rushed and the workmanship is poor. The quality of the work does not reflect the "new constructed home" we dreamed about.

U may experience constructions around the areas can be annoying but overall the community is pretty great/ new homes/ safe/clean/ great landscaping/friendly neighbors

I was skeptical at first since I’ve purchased homes from Ryan homes, Stanley Martin, etc and they all had some major issues during inspection. I’ve also never heard of Khov until recently. We really liked the size and layout of the Khov townhome compared to a lot of townhomes that are built narrower and taller (to maximize the cost for space). They had a quick move-in home available at a pretty good price compared to other new construction townhomes. When we went through inspection, the inspection report showed pretty much no issues and they put things like “dust” to even make some sort of report lol they said the home was one of few that had pretty much no code violations or issues found. The contractor who did our walkthrough was so great to work with as well as the HOA manager. We’ve been living in our home for a few months so far and love it! We are very happy with our new home. The K Hov team bent backwards to assist us in choosing the right options and we are happy with the results. Ronda and Christian were especially amazing, thank you. We are happily settling into our new home.
