For a first time homebuyer, I could not have asked for an easier experience. Thus far, I have enjoyed my new home, am very impressed with the quality, and would highly recommend K. Hovnanian to a friend.

This was the best and easiest one stop buying experience I have ever had. Simple, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable.

I was pleased to buy this house. Quickly that feeling passed after moving in. As stated in the title, the house has had many nagging structural issues. It’s like the builder found the cheapest materials and the least experienced construction workers to build this house. The door brace that leads to the garage wasn’t nailed down, the kitchen cabinet wasn’t nailed down; there was a gap between the door and wall that allowed crickets to enter the home, the floor strip between the bedroom and bathroom wasn’t secured; wholes between the wall and staircase; neglected to install a wall plate for the outlets in one of the bedrooms; nails are still sticking out in one of the bedrooms, now ceiling and wall is literally separating in multiple rooms. The quality of the homes are hardly at par with the price that we pay.

I THINK THE HOME DESIGN NEEDS SOME "WORK". EXAMPLE -- THE FAUCETS IN BATHROOMS ARE TOO SMALL (they can't be easily cleaned because the handles are way to close to the faucets.) THE CLOSET SHELVES ARE WAY TOO HIGH (a "normal" height woman can't reach them without a step ladder.) THE DISPOSAL SWITCH SHOULD BE RELOCATED TO THE TOP OF COUNTER (currently it's under the kitchen sink...very awkward.) Sorry, This is the best review I can give you.

Its been great experience purchasing home with KHOV builder. Everyone from Sales rep (Katrina) to construction manager (Jorge) were great to work and answered any questions or queries. Also closing was done without hassles. Great experience!

I had a great experience with K Hov. From the sales team to the construction team and maintenance support team, each staff I interacted with provided exceptional services. As a first time home buyer, K Hov team helped me navigate the process with peace in mind. I also really love my new home and have enjoyed living in it.

Distinct lack of transparency when it came to final numbers for mortgage. Specifically mislead or omitted HOA payment increases scheduled but not disclosed. Back yard has tremendous amounts of construction debris that was never removed. I.e. brick concrete shingle parts Left with dead landscaping and trees that were incorrectly planted in front yard.

Sedona model is best one to have more living space and great bedrooms

Lisa made the buying experience so great and Kade made the building process effortless.

Overall this was a great experience with all parties involved. Only critique I would suggest is response time to customer issues with their home.

Location, location, location!!! They have always been the most important item when searching for and deciding on where to buy your primary residence. Next (in my opinion) are Construction Quality, Community Layout & Amenities, followed closely by Price Point / Perceived or Expected Value. Our experience with the K. Hovnanian Team was Excellent considering the important items mentioned above. My wife and I Highly Recommend K. Hovnanian builders and especially the Tower Hill community in Lewes, DE

The seals representative and chief contractor were really helpful and informative. The overall process was a good experience because of these great people.

Quality of work could have been better ( poor paint job and finish; drain & tiles in master bathroom had to be repaired shortly after we moved in; heating system & thermostat had to be serviced because they were not calibrated; cracks in driveway and garage floor of a brand new home; yard not level and drainage poor creating sloppy/sludgy areas).

The worst experience I've ever had involved a dishonest salesperson, lack of transparency, limited upgrade options, and a terrible experience with the Khov mortgage lender. The home quality falls below the standards and I feel it’s waste of money. Lack of customer care. I understand the real estate market was in boom, however it doesn’t justify losing all hard-earned money. Only one good person I could think of is Justin.

Hi All, overall experience with the sales person and the contractor assigned to complete the house, they updated me on a regular basis. i would visit the site and the contractor was there to answer any questions or concern. I am extremely happy with me new home. Great choice on my part...The kitchen is the coolest part of the house. Shari

I have enjoyed my overall homebuying experience with Khov. All the team members are responsive and the entire process was very smooth until handover.

We were extremely disappointed at our walk-through and after living in the home. Poor workmanship, poor quality of cabinets, trim, doors.

Very poor quality from builders to salespeople. I would not recommend or buy again from them

We really love our new home from K.Hovnanian builders. The layout was perfect for our family and the lot size we found was a true gem. We've had a great relationship with our construction manager, John, and have found him to be very responsive. The location for this neighborhood is deal and well thought out. I do wish they were more diverse in their landscaping and had nicer finishes in the non main room areas (guest bath, closets, light fixtures, etc). Our biggest issue was the cleanliness of the home upon delivery. The builders could afford to hire a cleaning crew to do a full, detail cleaning of the home prior to handing over the keys. It took us two days and 5 cleaning crew people to clean the dust, floors, and cabinetry. ... More
