Lack of pride the staff at KHOV took in the brand I constantly had to remind them this is their brand and should have more pride. I mentioned that when viewing my home 1 week prior to the final walkthrough there was a bottle of urine in the master closet and the toilet looked so horrific I almost lost my lunch. I pointed out lack of quality in craftsmanship during the walkthrough obvious fixtures that were put in and not even straight and clearly visible to everyone who bothered to look at the work. In my master bathroom the shower seat was not straight had gaps between the wall. I feel KHOV does NO quality control. My home the stairs to the attic did not close I was told it would be corrected prior to close. It took 46 days to get this repaired after several calls filling out service orders and it became a comedy routine of let's try this or that and my personal favorite was bringing a tool over and asking me to see if I could get it to work. On the day I closed I got to my home so excited to put the key in the door and enter my home. Well that was another fail with a list of many. They changed the locks, but forgot to check to see if the keys they gave me worked on the door. Again basic quality control and common sense. I had always heard that KHOV was a brand you could trust I have not found that to be the case. Kitchen draws so misaligned they did not close correctly, half painted trim, missed paint on the walls and an overall lack of concern for the buyer. I originally thought it was a discrimination issue, but after hearing from other people in the neighborhood and reviewing each issue I came to the conclusion this is the way they conduct business. My advice if you are weighing options between a KHOV home and another builder go with the OTHER Builder. ... More

Great value for the price paid... and great support too from the sales representative!

I really like the quality tile, flooring, fixtures, etc. available with the included smart home features. The house is well made, but the finishing was a bit underwhelming. Some door handles were installed crooked, door frames and baseboards were rough in some places and did not present a 'polished' finish. Patched sections of the ceilings and walls (from damage during construction,which is common) didn't look new even after a second pass. Early warranty claim was resolved, but required us to follow up weekly for updates. Overall, we really like the home and were pleased with the timeline during a period with significant supply-chain challenges. I would like to see KHov focus a bit more on high quality finishing-work, this is what a buyer is really going to notice. ... More

The buying process with K.Hovnanian was straightforward. The Sales Team was attentive throughout the entire process and the Design Team followed through with all our desired options. We received weekly updates during each build phase. The Build Team was able to address a majority of the home's cosmetic punch-out list. They gave a thorough walkthrough of the home's systems and provided tips for us down the line for home maintenance. Things began to stumble towards the tail end of the transaction. A lack of communication between The K.Hov Teams caused confusion during site visits. The Home was not clean for our Gold Key Orientation and we did not see the final state till closing day. It's been over a month since we've closed and we have not received trash or recycling bins. Our latest affair was a potential plumbing issue. There was a vinegar-like odor in our basement which was causing us to cough. It took over a week to get a plumber onsite for a suspected water leak. No water leak was found but rotting food was uncovered behind a wall near our drainage pipe. The Home is beautiful and in a great location but major issues slipped through quality checks. ... More

It was a great experience! The team kept us informed about the progress on a weekly basis. If we ever had a question it was promptly answered by a sales representative. Highly recommend Hovnanian to anyone who is looking for a new home.

I loved every minute of the process. Monique is amazing and I really appreciated her. She kept in touch the entire time for the loan process with updates. Even after a few weeks of my move in she checked in. Also my builder Mike, is awesome. He has kept in touch with me about any questions I've had and when I already had issues arise he was at the house doing what he could to get everything fixed. I appreciate him so much for his intensity when it comes to making sure the house was A1. Thank you so much for the both of them being as wonderful and helpful as they are.

Building with K Hov has been a pleasure! From sales all the way to management. Marleen was amazing and got us into exactly what we wanted. Keith was spectacular! Working with him from day 1 to finish he did a perfect job. Explained every step to us and updated us with weekly updates. 5 stars ⭐️

Our sales person, Elizabeth, had THE BEST customer service attitude of anyone we've ever worked with. She sent pictures and videos of the progress regularly, she was super responsive to our questions, helped us as we navigated some ADA needs that we had, and really was an outstanding face to your company!! We recently built a custom home and didn't have this level of service. She is a true asset to your company!!

Entire team was great to work with. Smooth process using Khov lender. We love our home.

Buying a first home is not easy, and definitely stressful. Everyone at K. Hovnanian made the process smooth and easy. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and courteous the entire time! I am so happy and grateful to have my first home. Providence at Kingdom Heights is the place to be!

Most of the people I had to deal with were fine. The problems are really difficult for me to wrap my head around because it’s a brand new home. I have one working toilet that still has problems. The front bedroom is very cold. The long clothes rack in my walk in closet fell off the wall. The list is actually longer. I wanted so much to have this be a happy experience. I am 76 and partially disabled and very disappointed.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience with K Hov. No question nor concern was left unaddressed by the time we arrived at closing. Our construction manager was quick to provide honest and helpful advice along the way. Our sales consultant kept us in the loop and supported us through and through. We couldn't be happier with our new home. We hope to work again and build with K Hov in the future and have already been recommending K Hov to our friends for their future plans! Thank you for all the help and celebrating all the victories with us along the way. Great company and amazing service!

Sub par communication, had to take the initiative when asking for updates during the building process

Very nice upgrades considering that it was a model. That is what attracted us to the home. Being a model was mostly great except that the touch up paint areas were terrible. We have areas on every floor where you can see the touch up areas. It doesn’t match so we will probably have to repaint the entire interior. Also we have some cold spots in the home like the interior door area, it is like an icebox down there. Our microwave is like a freezer. The vent doesn’t seem to be closed so cold air comes in.

Our construction manager, Christian, was very helpful and informative. We loved receiving updates every week of what got done and what was planned. Heather, our sales representative, was very kind and helped make choosing which house we wanted very easy and was very transparent.

Keith and Adam did a great job building our home. The things we were dissatisfied with was the variety of selections available to us and the explanation of structural add-ons.

Our sales rep Bina was Amazing and was in constant contact with us every step of the process. She made sure all of our needs were taken care of. She was the highlight of our entire home buying experience! Also, our building manager James made our experience throughout the process very easy and made sure we were satisfied from start to finish.

Awesome Experience from the start to finish !!!! Brenda and Jeremy were in contact with emails (Weekly) and construction meetings..... You hear horror stories and being afraid to buy a house, but K.
