My review was mainly based on the communication throughout the process.

Poor communication, empty promises, post inspection issues dismissed or downplayed. Attention to detail is pretty bad. Luckily warranty department has been good. They don't dismiss issues and send someone as fast as possible.

I was treated very well. Everyone was kind and answered all my questions. I always felt welcome.

Entire process was very smooth. I recommend this builder to everyone. I will wait to see how they handle any of my issues.

The responsiveness to issues by James ***** and Stephanie ***** has been outstanding. Best customer service and follow up we have ever seen. It is a pleasure to work with them.

I still feel valued by the team here at ***** as a resident of this wonderful community. It wasn't just about making the sale…it's about the relationship that has been built.

The fact that the price was right with good local schools was offset by the lack of options. Some features chosen by the builder that we were not allowed to change will result in us having to spend significant money to redo. Example: the home is a 4 bedroom plus office - yet the kitchen and master bath are designed for a couple without kids. 1 towel bar in the master bath with a layout that provides no space for an additional towel bar and location of electrical outlets forces you to run your electrical cords over the sink. It should be located between the sinks! Storage space in the kitchen is lacking. Instead of cabinets we got 4 shelves - nice if you don't cook and are interested in the display of nick-nacks. The quality of craftsmanship is acceptable and they do respond to puch list and warranty issues in a professional manner. ... More

The sales process was flawless, and everyone on the team was helpful. However, once we closed on the houses, all the promises went out the window.

K hovnanian was excellent. They were responsive and made everything as smooth as possible.

People except poor workman ship they except them to keep trying to get it right instead making them do it the right way the first time

Painless purchasing and fixed everything we wanted in the house during inspection

We are retirees and purchased a newly built home to avoid issues. We've been experiencing one issue after another since moving into our home, issues that could have been avoided with proper inspection and workmanship prior to putting the house on the market. Garage door bolts dropping off, front door lock loose, air-conditioner stopped working, faulty tray in dish washer, using the air fryer and kettle at the same time causes the breaker to trip and on and on!!!!!!

The sales and builder teams did a great job throughout the process. They responded to all our questions and requests in a timely manner. A great source for additional help. We continue to use the KHovnanian team and appreciate their help.

Workmanship of house is not as good as I would have hoped for

My experience hasn't been a pleasant one, my home was rushed within 2 months of moving into my home there has been issues are issues and the service department and construction has not been very unresponsive. they respond at their own pace and have not been pleasant to deal with. The homes looks nice but once you move in it's a completely different story. My new home the basement had mold because every time it rains the breaker trips and the sump pump stopped working causing an overflow that led to mold in the basement, door knobs falling off, garage caving in do yourself a favor and go with another company that genuinely cares. ... I don't think the quality of KHOV is what it once was.

Build for quality versus speed and remove ridiculous cost savings such as small garages and one outdoor garage light on a two car garage. That's just an example of many things that are not common sense.

Very smooth buying process and excellent after sale service esp the on site manager

You fall in love with the model home but the reality is you end up with a stript down model. That means pouring concrete, landscaping, rain gutters and so on and on. Towel racks and laundry and cabinets are all on you. Just be aware of all the above.
