Love my home, lots of great design features, but there have definitely been a fair amount of frustrations along the way. Would have preferred to see a model of my home, as I was surprised about some aspects since I could not see a finished product. Buying a new home and not being able to make modifications to pre-selections by the builder was not ideal. The entire process had been very rushed (except for the home completion, which took much longer than expected.) Some of the finish detail work on the home is somewhat lacking as well as the overall sales experience. Overall, a very positive experience and we are very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship. Only negative was lack of flexibility to make even minor changes even 1 day after contract signed.

First time home buyer should do more homework. I wish builder had shed more light into what’s needed and what not.

Overall good experience with the home purchase. I'd like to highlight that TJ goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. He's extremely responsive, hard working, and I especially appreciate how considerate he is every time he takes his shoes off to enter the house.

Ours sales agent was a delight to work with. She was very helpful and responsive. We had to make a relocation and find a home quickly and she was instrumental in accomplishing our deadline.

Star ratings would be higher if KHov didn't use ESD for low voltage installation. ESD has abysmal correspondence. Also, if KHov drained downspouts into french drains, I would rate them higher. Sitting next to an American Legend home that uses french drains makes me feel bad, knowing that wasn't even an option. Speaking of, the lack of standard options and upgrades that KHov has is a little upsetting.

I really appreciated our sales agent, April. She worked for us daily and never brushed things under the rug. She was so patient with my million questions everyday! Every location needs an April!

My overall experience when it came to the process was good. I was especially happy with the sales office and the agent working there as well as the mortgage/lender company! An absolute pleasure to work with and I could not be more happy with them! I'm disappointed with the workmanship of the home - particularly the paint job and the cabinetry. Extremely inconsistent (upstairs cabinets were nearly done perfect. The kitchen cabinets are terrible and done so sloppy) and found a lot of flaws and mistakes. Some that they are willing to fix and some that they wont.

Happy with my purchase, its way better than living in an apartment. My cats and I love the new home and all the space we have to roam around. I get compliments on the flower bed outside often and the location. I like being close to work as well as the airport. The KHOV family is always available to answer any questions I may have and has kept in touch with me to make sure things are going smooth and I am enjoying my new home. The process was pretty easy and still worth it despite current worldwide pandemic and issues. I am used to traveling and deploying so whether this is my forever home or not it is my permanent home as of right now. Love the neighbors, and quietness of the area, I will be happy when we start receiving mail from the post office so I wont have to make a trip. ... More

Elegant beautiful build but would have been rated higher if something could have been done with the sound coming inside especially with the master bedroom location and the trains that go honking all night

Build and punch-list were not without issues, but the builder was very responsive. Overall I feel like we had far fewer issues than friends and relatives have had with other builders. Overall we are a satisfied customer, and have no regrets.

Buying experience was pleasant enough, but it's the quality of the materials and the workmanship that was a disappointment. It almost feels like the company purchased the lowest quality materials they could get in hopes that the buyer won't notice. From swapping out non Moen branded parts to appliances with small defects like scratches here and there to bathroom tiles scratches. So that brings you to wonder if it was the contractors installing that were not careful or did the products come already with defects? Buyers take your time when you do ALL YOUR WALKTHROUGHS.

The process of building the house was pretty good even though much of it had to be done from out of state. Nick in sales was very responsive and accommodating. The build was done 1 month early which was a major benefit for our family. The process of buying was smooth with Khov financing even though our 1st payment never went to Khov because they sold the loan the day after we signed. The warranty support has been prompt. The longer we are in it, though, the more we can tell that the quality of work in some places is sloppy. (Ex. tile work in the bathrooms, carpet laid over trash, missed painting over primer, the finishing work like caulking throughout the home, overall attention to detail, etc). You can also tell when you get a closer look, some of the materials used are not quality products (ex. the top tier carpet is still builder grade, some of the wood work is pressed boards, etc). Its a great experience buying a new house and the first day we signed the contract was norhing short. The closing was smooth with most of the issues taken care of before and some after. There are still some issues and quirks that we are realizing and I am sure it would be taken care but wish the builders were thoughtful in the design and quality of construction. The construction area was always dirty and we are seeing aideeffects of yhe same 4 mobths after closing with windows stained and drawers not sliding. These are minor though but could have been taken care of. The builders mortgage company ensured that they took back every dime that was allocated for a closing costs, very sly and cunning trick. But then everybody is trying to get every dime out of the customers pocket. All in all. I am happy with this place we call home. ... More

Pros: High value for money, great layouts Cons: Cuts corners in quality in frw places, very inflexible in terms accomodating even simple change requests

Loved the ability to customize aspects of the home , unlike other builders. They stuck to the timeline for closing. Being a first time home buyer, it was a whole new world but the sales staff helped all the way through keeping us informed and answering our questions. Some work could have been more intentional & cleaner on the house itself but overall the experience was great

Could have provided more details for upgrade options , improve quality of build and handle additional care for work done by of suppliers

Initially didn't get the response I needed, but overall they did good!

I found many small issues after closing (outlet not working, rusting railing, imcomplete caulking, broken remote...etc). The builder has been very responsive to fixing issues. To that I'm very happy and apprecaite. The overall built quality can be better for the price paid though.
