I had a great experience building my home with Khov. Matt was very attentive and fixed any issues I saw immediately. I’ve been living in my home over a month and have no complaints. Quality seems to be great! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the mortgage team. I was not impressed and would never get my loan through them again.

Love my new home, the buying process is long and sometimes confusing, but Damaris was very helpful during the process, the construction was according to the plan, some issues during the walking through that were fixed, Felix was always pending on us, once we received the house, have a few warranty issues but minor details that Felix help to fix, don't know about loan issues because we bought without loan

The staff always answered my questions and were very helpful. I chose to finance with them and you may have more of a stressful time if your income is nonstandard. The only other thing I didn’t like was that I felt pressured to close by the end of the month, but I know each month costs money for somebody. Overall, I would not hesitate to do business with Khov again. The whole process was helpful and informative. Even after you purchase the house, they continue to check in through text or email to be sure that everything is going as expected. You don’t get that with a typical home purchase.

In general, it was a good experience, an efficient process. The overall finishes of the house are good, and the promptness in responding to warranty requests has been timely.

We had a pretty nice experience throughout the home buying process, from the initial earnest payment, to the design choices, all the way to the final closing day. The people we interacted with throughout the process were very professional and knowledgeable about their respective work. The construction process however could be improved a little to be really great for the home buyer. For instance, our first builder representative resigned close to house completion, and although our second builder was great at picking up where the first builder left off (and even now still helps us with any issues the house has), it would've been great to stick with the same person the whole way through. The workmanship wasn't perfect, and we still found items that needed fixing even after closing, most of them were fairly minor (paint touch-up, missing caulking, etc.). But overall the main and important items such as insulation, electrical, plumbing, structure were constructed well and so far there hasn't been any problems after living in the house for a few months now. Overall our experience with both builder reps were excellent and helpful with getting any questions we had answered, or would at least get back to us with any questions they couldn't answer. We do believe that for the price we paid, the quality could've been a little better. The saving grace is the warranty that comes with the house so at least any issues found post-closing could be addressed through the warranty. In all, the overall experience was great. Just be sure to ask your builder rep as many questions as you can and don't be shy to voice something that you don't like, even if it's something minor. And if you're in a situation where construction is getting rushed right before closing day, be especially diligent with searching for any areas the building crew may have rushed through. Overall, things seem okay as we begin to live in our home. I see quality issues on on some things such as fencing, the shape our grass was in when we moved in (dead), and the wash out of the dirt in our yard after a big storm that wasn't replaced before putting in the grass. Unhappy with the fact that the bathrooms don't have a medicine cabinet or towel holders. Something new homeowners shouldn't have to worry about installing or ordering. After moving in and starting to put away things in the kitchen cabinets, I noticed they are not normal sized cabinets as far as width. I cook a lot and I have no space for my larger pots and pans. It's a problem. And lastly, there are no cabinets in the laundry room. One set above the washer would be relatively inexpensive, but be very beneficial to homeowners to hideaway laundry items. ... Ismael went above and beyond to get us into our house as quickly as possible. Any issues that have come up since we moved in have been taken care of quickly.

This is the second time I bought property from KH. And this time is not that smooth. My first sales this time is Paul, and he didn’t let us know KH will have new section new my first property, so he tried to sell me the old section in the old area. We put the deposit, and later we found out the material they use for that property is terrible. So we just wanna they change them, but they said that’s approved by the county. Then we met Damaris, she is great and show me the new section. That’s what we want at the first time. Later we tried to get back our deposit, but they said there is nothing wrong with that house. Then we complain to the sales manager Amanda, she was very helpless and what she did is just covered Paul. Finally, we cannot get back the deposit but we still bought from Damaris. Actually, this time the buying experience is not happy. So I won’t suggest K. Hovnanian Home to the people around who wanna buy the house. ... More

This is my first home purchase and our sales representative, Ashley was amazing. She really made the process as easy and painless as possible. My only grief is that there was multiple damages to the wood floors and overspill in many areas. Thankfully, they were quick to respond to repair these issues.

K. Hovnanian’s sales agent was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They did a phenomenal job of completing my home as promised.

The house is well built for track type build - they have a lot of detail in their builds. Their plans are good for older folks like us as well as first home buyers. The use of K. Hovnanian Mortgage was relatively easy as compared to other mortgages I have taken in the past. I would buy another KHov home. Nice job KHov all around....

My experience was a smooth process with the exception of some hiccups from the Sales Counselor Pros:: Temporary Solution:Rectified situation regarding backyard by mailing seeds for grass growth to my address. Cons: Used Condescending Language which was offensive. I am a military veteran and she expressed from her experience most veterans would not get approved for a certain loan amount amount thus exceeding A mortgage amount. I was shocked and appalled. Then she proceeded to ask me about my annual salary. I thought it was quite distasteful and unprofessional. I would recommend that she educates herself regarding veterans and not placing stereotypical connotations regarding whether or not veterans can purchase homes within their affordability. Jumping to conclusions that veterans dont make a decent salary to purchase homes that she may deem out of their financial bracket is unacceptable. ... More
