Louis and are general Forman were spot on. Final walk through went well and a few of the items or concerns we had been handled professionally and taken care of. Fantastic buying experience at a time when emotions can run high.

Good experience dealing with KHov builder and then KHov Mortgage. Made the process much easier.

We are very pleased with the purchase of our new home. KHOV was professional and knowledgeable every step of the way.

Everything was really bad,sales person had family emergency and really nobody was there to kinda cover even to give us the key of our 1st house. Youall change construction manager like 3 times and except for Gary (the las one) they didn't do nothing right. The day I was supposed to receive my brand new house was not finished and had buch of trash in the garage and back yard . I would never recomen or buy again from this constructor.

First of all, we are enjoying our new home! We have recently had A/C issues and the warranty policy came through but, it took them a week to resolve the problem. And another issue is why would the builder install 24” doors going into the bathrooms? We also had a water leak issue at the water meter in which we had to hire a plumber to fix and turned requests for reimbursement along with video to water supply company and have not received any response! Simple warranty issues seem to take abnormally long to be fixed, even when they are simple fixes. Once they have your money, no urgency to fix the issues their contractors created. I would not expect the same service after sales that you get when you are purchasing. Sales people are good, ultimately they are not involved after the purchase. Customer is not first once the sale is completed.

The quality of some items in the house can be better. The wood look tile is uneven in some areas, causing our feet to catch. This should have been done right. Overall the home is fair. We do love the floor plan and neighborhood. Just some things in the home that could have been done right and/or better.

KHOV builds an energy effiicent home at a great price

Very good experience from the very beginning of the process to buy our new house. The sales consultant, Kathy, was amazing. She worked with us to get exactly what we wanted and needed. We would have not buy our house if it was not for Kathy's amazing help and assistance. The quality of the homes built is very good, we choose KHovnanian because we had already built our previous house with them in another subdivision and were so very happy with it that decided to build another one with them again in another part of town. The entire building experience was phenomenal, Nick, the construction manager assisted us through out the entire construction, he went the extra mile for us until the end. The home was built with such care and diligence. I have a 2 story home and I live in it myself, but the way the layout is.. it doesn't feel like too much house. It's a perfect build!

My wife and I met Carlos at pre-Sheetrock stage. He was very professional and easy to work with. He took his time to understand our needs and walk through each question we had during the completion of our home. He was very approachable and reachable each time we had a question and/or identified areas needing attention. His knowledge and expertise on the construction, technical topics and building codes of the home was very welcoming as a home buyer. My wife and I have purchased several homes over the years (custom and pre-builds) and the KHOV experience with Carlos as our Home/ Project Building Manager was the most pleasurable and satisfying experiencing in completing our home purchase. This is our second K.Hov home. We found a rural sub-division with four builders where K,Hov provided the best package of quality design, build, available upgrades and timescale, while still maintaining a competitive pricepoint. After three months in our home we have found only minor faults which were quickly resolved- something we could not say about previous non-K.Hov new homes.

My experience has been mixed. During the home buying process we were working with Paul. When we decided to put an offer on our house. He wrote up the purchase agreement and said we would get 10,000 in incentives which includes a buy out of our current lease and two fans in our home. The next day he calls and says I can no longer offer what I promised. I can only offer $7,000 and only one fan. But don’t worry I’ll buy the other fan with my own money. Then it became you have to fill out a survey once you buy the house and give us a high rating then you will get your second fan. When my realtor called him one time with a question. He told her I just came back from vacation I don’t have time to deal with this right now. Josue the builder also made a lot of promises he didn’t keep. One being to lower the shelf in my laundry room because it’s too high. The toilet paper holder in the master bedroom was never put on the wall correctly. I called him to fix it. He came out looked at it and said you are correct but I forgot my tools and I’ll come back tomorrow to fix it. Never saw him again. I love my home but as I am living in it I can tell it was a rushed job to get it done in time for closing. ... More

Love my new home, the buying process is long and sometimes confusing, but Damaris was very helpful during the process, the construction was according to the plan, some issues during the walking through that were fixed, Felix was always pending on us, once we received the house, have a few warranty issues but minor details that Felix help to fix, don't know about loan issues because we bought without loan

Jeremy my GC was awesome! Fix every issues noticed in a timely manner and pointed out those my realtor and I missed. Awesome individual with great integrity.

The builders are excellent in communication, responding to my issues. They strive to help you to get your dream house. I was the first time home buyer. Hence, I have many concerns and worries. They were very patient and detailed in answering my questions.

Neighborhood is not properly represented when buying the home. The lakes are dry and there is no fountains.. was told that our lot was capable of having a swimming pool. This is not true .. it clearly states on the septic survey in bright red no pool. Even the septic people state they have made you aware of this but the sales person assured us that our lot was cleared for a pool. How can you build homes on a half acre lot .. that can’t have a pool!! No a very good marketing plan.houses look nice but are lacking in quality in craftsmanship and materials used.. Had a wonderful experience through home building process. If you get the opportunity to work with Scott and his team you will without a doubt, be happy with the end result.

My husband and I had a great experience! High out list were communication and involvement throughout the building process. We were able to witness from the foundation being through to the finishes touches. Kathy kept us abreast of each stage in the process. Weekly conference calls with the builder made it a seamless process. Any questions we had were answered timely After we moved in there were minor things that needed attention and they responded immediately!!! My husband and I moved into our newly built home this year and we’re beyond pleased with the work that was done. We were looking to relocate from out of state. We called and talked to Paul. We did everything online and not only was the house completed, (we had also mortgaged the house and signed for it’s closing), and we were completely moved in - all within 90 days!! Since we have relocated, Josue is the best!! As a first time homebuyer and relocating from so far away, he was always so patient and kind, which I’m sure to him were a lot of ignorant questions. Thank you so much for all your hard work in doing this relocation for us in record time!! We just love Texas and K. Hovnanian Homes!!!

Overall we had a great experience working with the Khov team. They were responsive to requests and changes when they were needed. We would definitely work with them again.

Absolutely hassle free buying experience.

The design of our home and quality compared to other builders is great. However several of the contractors they use don’t take pride in their work and do the bare minimum. They building manager Ismael was quick to respond and always said he would have all the needed contractors out to fix issues on the same day so I didn’t have to keep missing work. However that never happened and there was always excuses which kept causing me to miss more work. Matt got involved and repairs seem to be going better. We also were not made aware of the huge water issues in this neighborhood and were shocked to find that a full water softener/filtration system is absolutely necessary. The sales rep was very aware and hid that issue. I think they just hide what they want to get a sale. ... More
