I had a very good experience. I had my sister in the area and she helped keep an eye on things. I got weekly updates and if I had questions they were answered promptly.

Lisa N was outstanding and very supportive during our entire process. James was outstanding addressing all of our questions and explaining the entire process until we moved in and then was extremely helpful with issues we had with some of our appliances contractor. I would say because of the two of them they took a lot of stress off of our experience.

As closing got nearer and issues found after closing still not resolved and it’s been two months. Two major things I paid for were never installed and I am still fighting to get them. Hired my own inspector during build. He found a few major issues and KHov refused to fix. For price of home I feel quality is not there. Once you sign on dotted line they become very independent. Also despite what they say you have to use their lender or it’s a different contract with lots of restrictions. Happy with community but not with building experience

Stacey is awesome James is great, once you get passed his hard shell So many little things were not well done. If it was just a few, it would have been fine. But add them all up and it doesn't make for a great experience. We are moved in for a month and still finding things that shouldn't be.

Spend more time asking questions during the initial purchase time. I was disappointed that certain areas were extra and did not know about them-example completion of the garage interior and extra charge for second outside fixture. There were other areas I am not aware existed until after talking to other residents.

While the quality of materials was as I expected from a large developer in a booming development, there were occasional lapses in the quality of workmanship that would have been a problem, if not for the excellent customer service provided by our construction manager, Nick. He was always ready to listen - even when I was a little frustrated -- and always saw to it that the concern / problem was addressed to my satisfaction. Great representative for K. Hovnanian.

Would I do it again? Yes probably. My sales girl Lisa was wonderful. Jocelyn at the design center has the patience of a saint and extreme helpful. Lastly my construction manager Nick simply outstanding. With that being said I believe the design center should know the models a little better with lighting details. What would work in different spots. It is also very hard to pick out carpet, flooring, lighting, paint, siding and fixtures . Well actually everything in one day. It is helpful to go the design center first before your appointment to look at things first. I was very impressed with some of the quality and workmanship however some of it leaves much to be desired. I'm not sure how you leave gaps in the drywall above a door frame. If the house is painted more than once I would think it would cover white areas of the drywall. The painting could be much better and they need to cover the counter tops when touching up the paint. Paint sprayings on new quartz counters. I know they are initially covered. Not thrilled with my concrete work. I spent 7 hours over two days scrubbing and scraping the concrete off my siding and sliding door. They need to cover these areas before pouring the cement. The windows both top and bottom should tilt for easy cleaning. Keeping in mind it's a 55plus community. I love my GE Profile appliances so much more than the Kitchen Aid ones I left. I love the layout of my house and the storage it has. My favorite is my ceiling to floor brick/stone fireplace and my kitchen cabinets. The pool area is so pretty , my neighbors are great. Cant't wait for the walking trail and dog park when it's completed. It's a give and take and nothing is perfect and we're all human. Watched every day the construction and the hard work and dedication of these workers even through terrible weather hats off to all of them,

Despite supply chain issues, the team got us an excellent home. The warranty department could use some help; slow to respond.

Stacy, James and Joslin were great. All three were very responsive. We had a few minor issues that were resolved for the most part. Things out of their control that should be considered in the future. 1. Service Door should be offered as an option especially for 55 and over. 2. The mechanical room should have been painted. Does not look good when you are showing the house to friends and open the mechanical door with dry wall tape and gashes in the wall. At a minimum it should be spray painted with at least one coat to cover up the tape.

Our experience for the most part was a very good experience. The sales person was fantastic! The project manager was very attentive, a great communicator and really seemed to care that things were done right. We have only one complaint and that was dealing with the design center on one specific item that we are still upset they would not comply with. The design center rep was very nice but absolutely would not allow us to have vinyl flooring in our greatroom/living room and back door. We were told its because they have to lay one piece without breaks and there is not a piece that will go from the front of the house to the back. Have flooring and not carpet by the back door was very important as we have a dog that we will let out that way and will get worn very fast. Then we moved into our home only to find out that there are several breaks in the vinyl from room to room. We are still very angry about this. ... More

Good experience. Kept informed and was on schedule

After a wind storm, a lot of the wood trim that was in garage had to be replaced (after it was installed) never should have been installed!

When you buy your home, you expect the builder to use the best of everything. Unfortunately that’s not the case! The windows are not great, nor is the patio door. The tub surround was also cheap. We’re talking about a 300K house!!! Anyway, at closing: when you buy the house, you have to sign a bunch of stuff, and in that stuff is a little clause you initial saying you’ll have everything you need at closing or they’ll charge you $500/day. Fine, no problem. You’ve got the money! My problem was with the title company. They were way behind because the builder finished the house 2 weeks early. So we were 5 days late, even though I had the money!! It wasn’t my fault, but the didn’t care, I had initialed that clause. So, be careful what you sign!!! ... More

The best decision ever made was building a new home at four seasons. Great home, great neighborhood, amenities etc, Very much a community

We can't say enough good things about our home building experience. From Monica in the Sales office, Jocelyn in the Design Center and to our Project Manager Nick it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We even closed on our home one week earlier than predicted. Great job everybody! Keep up the good work!

The sales associates were wonderful. Knowledgeable,helpful, insightful! Our contractor was helpful on many levels. The mortgage company was none of these!

I have had many concerns on the workmanship of my new home especially when it comes to plumbing and framing issues as many of my walls appear to be crooked. I still don’t having water to my refrigerator after 30 days. Plumbers have not returned. Fixtures in bathroom shower and tub actually pulled away from the walls and had to be fixed. Quartz kitchen island was installed with marks. My driveway has a crack in it. My construction manager James tries to be responsive and is aware of my concerns working to correct. Nick, our construction manager, and Stacey, our sales consultant, have been best parts of this build/move. They both were exceptionally receptive to emails and phone calls and made it possible for us to manage this build from 1100 miles away. It would have been a completely different experience if it wasn't for them, We were disappointed, however, in the materials and workmanship, specifically the painting, done in the house. There were many areas that had poorly painted walls, 'bubbled' texture, and overall sloppiness. Nick corrected all of the issues we had, but he had to even correct their corrections. My building manager was great. Always gave me updates as to what was going on and if I found something that I didn’t think should be there I let him know right away. However, there are a lot of us who have not gotten our patios in nor yards grated nor yards and landscaping in and we are somewhat frustrated as nothing has been said to us as to when this all will happen and this is June now. Communication could be more clear and concise.

Nick was spot on with his schedule, of home building time frame

We are very happy with our new home. It was completed on time as promised. James the construction manager was very helpful. We would recommend your company to friends.

K. Hovnanian is a great builder in my estimation. I love the homes they build and can recommend them without reservation.
