K. Hovnanian's® Four Seasons Reviews

My wife and I had an exceptionally good home buying experience with K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Terra Lago development. From the first visit with Allison, the sales person who became our main point of contact, to the actual move in day after the close of escrow, we found the communication to be excellent all the way through the process. Communication was the key for us, as we were also looking at resale homes in the desert area, literally for several months. We visited a number of 55 and older communities after we decided that was our goal--to live in a gate guarded, 55 and older community. We maintained communication with Allison throughout our search process, as we kept coming back to resale homes in the Four Seasons development. At some point, the development's model homes went up for auction, and we were successful in securing one of the homes after our bid went in. Allison was the person to inform us of our successful bid, and we entered escrow. When we were close to the closing date, Tom led us through the walk-through to insure that all systems in the house were either working properly or would be repaired if needed. We were not able to see our home being built, however we were kept informed along the entire process. Home was actually completed a month earlier than promised. The staff was always helpful, assisting with any minor issues that arose. Would certainly recommend Khov to people in the market.

This is the 3rd new construction home my wife and I have purchased. It was undoubtedly the best experience of the three. From the sales team to the site foreman to customer service, we were always treated with respect and issues were addressed promptly. The only real criticism we have is that the quality of the cabinetry vendor does not match the quality of the rest of the house. Given how central the kitchen is to our floor plan, this was disappointing.

Michael, the Senior Community Construction Manager, was a joy. He has been so helpful and eager to assist.

We're very happy with our new home. Mike and Kelsey were great, they answered every question that I had. They called every Wednesday to give me an update throughout the whole duration of the build.

Eban was great all the way through. Electric fixed our problem. Premier has been helpful, John, Clint too. Pratik wouldn’t answer our emails or texts but he moved to a different job. Two important things had to wait until after settlement.

Good Job. The staff was great. Quality is very good. There is no such thing as a perfect house. I'm very satisfied.

Stacy, James and Joslin were great. All three were very responsive. We had a few minor issues that were resolved for the most part. Things out of their control that should be considered in the future. 1. Service Door should be offered as an option especially for 55 and over. 2. The mechanical room should have been painted. Does not look good when you are showing the house to friends and open the mechanical door with dry wall tape and gashes in the wall. At a minimum it should be spray painted with at least one coat to cover up the tape.

Our experience for the most part was a very good experience. The sales person was fantastic! The project manager was very attentive, a great communicator and really seemed to care that things were done right. We have only one complaint and that was dealing with the design center on one specific item that we are still upset they would not comply with. The design center rep was very nice but absolutely would not allow us to have vinyl flooring in our greatroom/living room and back door. We were told its because they have to lay one piece without breaks and there is not a piece that will go from the front of the house to the back. Have flooring and not carpet by the back door was very important as we have a dog that we will let out that way and will get worn very fast. Then we moved into our home only to find out that there are several breaks in the vinyl from room to room. We are still very angry about this. ... More

Everything went well, and I was kept abreast of everything that was going on. I really appreciated that. The staff was excellent, any questions or issues that I had the staff took the time to answer and explain the process to me.

Homes are very well made

We had visited several other sites similar to ours within a 50-75 mile radios. We always returned back to K Hovnanian all within a four to six month period. We were able to walk through the model homes as often as needed for decision making; we were always treated as if it were our first time coming to the site. From the purchasing signature to the closing signature we were met with an above and beyond excellent customer service experience. We are comfortably happy that we settled in our new community at K Hovnanian and we have made recommendation to our friends who are in the market as well. The purchase of our home was very easy and Wendy in the sales office was always available

Our construction manager sent us weekly pictures and updates since we were in Connecticut. He put our minds at ease with the progress of the construction

Worked closely with Project Manager Matt who kept me informed of supply issues during a very trying time to build a house. He followed up on all issues that were pointed out during the process and delivered a superior product! Very pleased with my home.

Five weeks after closing there is still no garbage bin or pickup. Have had to run it down to the dumpster several times!

The builder and all personnel who were involved with the construction and closing of our home did an excellent job, in spite of extra difficulties created by the ongoing Covid pandemic.

I like to thank Barbara, Eban & Debra for being the most supportive Realtors & Builder Supervisor to work with. This is my first homebuild and I'm happy it was this team. Barbara, I can't say enough how wonderful you are and wish you much success in your life!

Wendy was AMAZING during the process

Our experience is very good overall, everyone we have dealt with has been responsive and helpful. We had to adjust our closing date (sooner) because of a medical issue my wife had, and they went through hoops to make it happen. Thanks,

The dealing was great and we were kept in the communication sphere the entire journey. Very helpful and always there to talk and ask questions. We have not moved there as of yet and look forward to enjoying the Home.

Other than the problem is that the builder cannot control, material shortage and whether the process was very good. Frustration with delays were not anything that could be laid on the builder since the whole world is dealing with these issues.

Our salesman AR did a great job listening to our situation and came up with a beautiful spec house for us. That made our choice easier to come to four seasons versus the other over 55 neighborhoods in the area. It’s an honor to be AR’s first South Carolina closing. Here’s to many more SC closings for you.
