This will be a great community for those 55+ once the amenities are in place and some of the early development challenges are overcome. The people are great that have been moved in so far. The Delaware people for K. Hovanian are outstanding and always willing to assist or help.

The process of purchase was good with a lot of different contacts and hands which worked together.

After 3 months, we are satisfied with the quality and performance of K.Hov as a builder. There are some issues regarding who is responsible-builder or developer, but all things considered we are happy to date.

The overall experience working with KHov was positive. However, for a home costing over $500,000 there are so many finishing touches that are below standard.

Overall, our experience was a positive one. Sales and design were very good. Communication during the actual construction phase was limited. There should be much more information shared without having to ask for it. Pictures and updates need to happen more often... especially for out of state customers. Prior to closing, I believe there should have been more attention paid to details, as per my discussion with Jason. That would save time (and money)for KHOV by sending contractors back out to address issues that should been checked earlier. This will also save aggravation for homeowners,which is the most important thing. With that being said, since we have moved in, Ben has been fantastic. Love the new home. Wish there were options to make the home smart (lighting, thermostat, locks, alarm, etc...). High quality workmanship except paint quality could have been better (better quality paint material, attention to detail...drips, blemishes on the surface, especially molding and drips on the flooring). I would have rated higher in Quality if painting were more meticulous/higher degree of attention to detail. Regarding responsiveness of issues, easy to raise requests for service, not all issues have resulted in response / closure.

Several issues with trim, drywall, cabinet, countertop fit/finish issues that should have been caught before the house was handed over, but Amanda has been great on getting everything fixed as quickly as possible. Overall pretty happy with the house, very happy with KHov’s response.

We love living here and the community/property is beautiful.

Had to fly back a week later to do the walk through. We planned it for one date and they missed it. Had to buy another airline ticket to come back the following week. On my $$$.

The build process interactions with construction foreman and sales people were good and provided an idea of progress from design towards completion. The lot premium was a bit excessive considering the highway noise. Then we were not allowed to specify materials which would remediate it, without changing the appearance. The sales/ construction team dropped the ball on the number of gas taps and forced us to use their electric appliances which altered the back up generator requirements. The Media port installations used twice the amount of materials that were required and used miniscule wire gauge for the speakers, which limited the low frequency response of the speakers. The responsiveness of the construction crew to issues and questions was excellent. Explanation of construction progress and reviews were also excellent. Delivery was smooth. Above average starts from a low bar around here, but generally, we're happy overall. The people are what makes this community so great. Building our home from scratch long distance was made as easy as possible, but was still a chore. The largest miss in the design experience was not being able to see all our choices together in a virtual environment. That color combination you liked may not look the same in real life. Quality of build is average plus. Several construction issues found by our inspector were corrected, but should never have been made in the first place (e.g., warped studs incorrectly remediated, electrical wiring mistakes) and some were contested by the builder and not remediated (e.g., roofing nail spacing). Some choices made by the builder were problematic (e.g., noisy, high sones bathroom exhaust fans, very thin coating of wall paint - masking tape on the wall peels out chunks when removed, no insulation over the garage). Would be nice if the numerous light switches were labeled. Also surprised there isn’t a switch for kitchen lights when entering from garage. For Donegal models with a sun room- the floor outlet is centered in the room. With a sun room addition many of us place our couches farther toward the master bed door. This makes the floor outlet useless unless you want a tripping hazard, or fire hazard with an area rug. Put peep holes in the front doors.

We absolutely love our new home! We’ve met som wonderful people. As with any new community I’m sure there’s room for improvement but we are happy we chose Four Seasons as our final & forever home

Khov is a good company but needs to be more attentive to the details - big and small. We love our home and our Community but Khov is struggling with growth issues. Our community infrastructure (pools, courts, exercise facilities, landscaping, lakes and irrigation is struggling due to lack of maintenance management by Khov and the property management company. The handover by Khov six months ago to the HOA has been poorly handled with financial, accounting and maintenance irregularities - the end result being special assessments on the backs of home owners. With a little bit of planning, better record keeping and competent management by the property management company over the years this could have been avoided. Get your act together Khov and protect your wonderful reputation. We your customers and you deserve it! ... More

Everyone that I encountered during the build was very helpful. The quality of the homes is beautiful.

The support personnel are stellar. The company cut corners for profit. When you pay for upgrades, make sure they are. For example, quartz instead of granite. $2 plants in front of the house is landscaping? For the price paid, a refrigerator wasn’t included, neither a washer or dryer. Not even a credit. The first thing you see entering the house is the seams in the vinyl siding. This house was almost $600K, not $300K…have I made my point.

Great neighborhood, friendly neighbors. Great facilities, too. Got one of the last new homes in the neighborhood at a great price. House did not come with gutters, strange for a community in Florida where it rains regularly. Only downside was the lawns were not being kept up well by the builder/HOA. Not sure if lawn was diseased or not getting enough water. Overall experience was good. Despite minor flaws listed, it was at a price that was too good to pass up!

For the most part, we were very satisfied with the home buying process and the responsiveness of the sales agent and construction staff. However, we were very disappointed in two issues that would make us reluctant to recommend KHOV to others-- 1) no one in sales or at settlement ever conveyed to us that the quarterly water and sewer charges were going to be equally shared by all residents of multiple building versus separately metered where we would pay for only our own water usage. That is a significant that should have been explained beforehand, especially since some of us have second homes and aren't living in the home all year; 2) In order to sell the last condo in our building before the end of the year (the exact same model as ours with the same options on the same floor and right next door to us), KHOV reduced the price by $50,000, in affect significantly cheapening the value of our own property and others. This action was very self-serving to KHOV, totally unnecessary and a great disservice to the dozens of buyers who had already purchased their new home. ... More

Four seasons is a great development. Homes are well designed and offer above average options. There are several improvements that are needed to improve the buying and acceptance process.

OK with punch list items

Diana and Bret keep a tight schedule and our home finished 2 months ahead of the original estimate. Anthony jas picked up on the warranty issues and is quick, attentive to detail, and manages the contractors almost effortlessly.

Design is very good. Location is good if not a little remote, Cannot say enough good words about the sales staff, Mike & Adam, especially Mike. Homes are built quickly using specialized subcontractors, that do ONLY their thing, and will overlook any previous contractors shortcomings, Otherwise, if You stay on top of things, its great.
