I am very happy with the home, workmanship and purchase process. As it would be for any new home, there are a few small items to be addressed. The initial communication was good but quickly dropped off in regard to communication, timeliness and results. It leaves the impression that they just want the purchase and don’t really put much effort into the follow up after the purchase. Bad business in my opinion. Im not hard to please. I’m disappointing and would rather write a stellar review.

At the start, it was very good. But once it came time for review of the construction sheet no follow thru was done. Issue was pointed out 3 times, before, during and before last 2 home previews. Told it was addressed after the first time it was pointed out, but not with us nor was it done right. The finance team was magnificent. Currently the warranty team is slow but getting issue addressed (Thank you). Over all experience, OK. We do love the location and the care done on the facilities and common areas.

Good process in place to address issues which are under warranty. Jeff has been very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful development with lovely residents. Most frustrating part was getting a response with a question during the buying process and after purchase if an issues was found.

Everything was moving along nicely and any issues were dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. THEN, we closed and paid KHov. After that we were pretty much on our own. Items that were told to us after closing; Khov will deliver a new air filter after 30 days in the house. Never happened Khov will do a 45 day walk through to address any issues. Never happened. Showed the ceiling joints were cracking in great room area, Khov will get someone to fix the joints. Never happened. Irrigation did not cover entire yard. Area was 24 feet wide, Khov installed 15 foot fan head. That left 9 feet of yard with out water. Sod died. Nobody would install the proper heads.Khov did not send an irrigation guy to correct. ( our neighbors on both sides have rotator heads covering the wider yards, our yard had a fan head. Khov would not fix it, an employee recognized it was wrong and worked hard to help. Washer and dryer are not side by side, there is a huge gap between them. Hookups in the wall were installed too far apart. Again. We were told that it would be checked out to see what can be done. Never happened. Seems to me that Khov did about anything to close our house and get paid. Once they received the money, we were not that important anymore, Always about the money, do whatever to get the money, once you get it, no urgency or concern. ... More

Warranty service is sketchy so far. I have additional warranty issues but I am reluctant to report.

Everyone that I encountered during the build was very helpful. The quality of the homes is beautiful.

Our experience with K. Hovnanian at Four Seasons was marvelous. Mike our salesperson to Rose in the design center were so professional. Tim the site supervisor / builder delivered the most beautiful home. Buying this home made our dreams come true.

The Home prices were variable, up and they go down however, if the home isn’t sold within a matter of weeks, the prices go down to those buyers who can now get lower great price for the same home you would have paid additional $20K. It’s now $20K less affordability. Good home structure Quality

Check the options prices before you buy. Sometimes it is worthwhile to get the basic and upgrade the house or remodel yourself. Weight the options!

The area between our house and our neighbor's house was a swamp. We found out later this had been an issue long before we closed on the house. When we contacted the warranty people, we were told by Jeff O. that our warranty for flooded turf was not under warranty. We tracked down our builder Dave P. and he managed to help resolve the issue. We had issues with Jeff O, the entire time on other issues as well. Finally, we just flagged down Dave P. and despite how busy he was, he managed to resolve any other issues within a couple minutes. Design is very good. Location is good if not a little remote, Cannot say enough good words about the sales staff, Mike & Adam, especially Mike. Homes are built quickly using specialized subcontractors, that do ONLY their thing, and will overlook any previous contractors shortcomings, Otherwise, if You stay on top of things, its great.

Once you move in the common response to an issue seems to be "you should have said something before you moved in". Not sure how you are supposed to know about poor landscaping resulting in standing water until you are in the home.

First the good; our Superintendent Tim Burns has been terrific through the process of the two homes we bought this year at Four Seasons. He has been responsive, informative and extremely helpful with any issues we have had. Please extend our appreciation to Mr. Burns. Now the not so good; while most of the workmanship is fine there have been a few things that were not acceptable even for a non-custom home. Trim work was fair at best, paint was simply not very good. (awe had our home completely repainted inside), stair railing has glue marks that did not take the stain and it is very noticeable. I've had to use a contractor to correct the shoddy work that went into the building of this house. My question is: Who is paying off the inspectors to pass the "pop and slop" that goes into the construction of these homes.

From first steps in the model homes the KHOV team has been professional and have delivered us a home of quality

While the homes are beautiful the workmanship is subpar. Make sure you get an independent pre drywall and pre settlement inspection. Money well spent to ensure issues are documented.

I am very happy with my home and attention to my few concerns with new home issues. My 4 star rating on workmanship and materials seeks to address the need for higher quality paint. For my house, the trim paint is such that it peels away from the surface. Very gummy. Trim paint quality and quality of painter is sub par.

After our salesperson helped us select the best model to meet our needs (in person), we began the process from 770 miles away. We did a virtual design meeting and then he kept us up-to-date with regular emails and progress photos from there. We had a awesome project manager who worked tirelessly to meet deadlines, ensure quality, and pass inspections. He even followed-up with us weeks after closing to ensure we were doing OK. Post-closing, any corrections were addressed promptly and to our satisfaction by our warranty manager using an organized ticket tracking system with regular follow-ups through completion. Rick our sales consultant was very good and helped us with information and decisions we initially had to make and progress updates. Rosa was very helpful with our interior selections . Zack our construction manager was awesome He was a pleasure to work with. He gave us timely progress reports at every stage of the construction. Zack attended our two independent inspections during which he was very knowledgeable and receptive to correcting any issue . Zack made the lengthy process of construction much less stressful .

Quality is definitely lacking in the build. I know it’s not a “custom” home, but that should not mean poor quality.

We have nothing but problems since we moved in July, can't believe the poor workmanship and installation for the price paid for this house.

Zach was very nice to me every other week he would send pictures of the progress of my house. When I arrived he showed me around.

Overall, we had a great experience. We feel that the Sale rep gave exactly what we wanted although we had some minor logistics glitch like changing the date of closing.
