The whole process was pleasant and with no major difficulties. Small issues during walk through were resolved by the closing. Very happy with purchase.

We absolutely love our new home! We’ve met som wonderful people. As with any new community I’m sure there’s room for improvement but we are happy we chose Four Seasons as our final & forever home

Highly recommend KHov. We are so very happy in our new home.

For a national builder they would rank high compared to other builders that we have had experience with. A few things that this location should have is a hot tub especially since it is a 55 and older community.

The support personnel are stellar. The company cut corners for profit. When you pay for upgrades, make sure they are. For example, quartz instead of granite. $2 plants in front of the house is landscaping? For the price paid, a refrigerator wasn’t included, neither a washer or dryer. Not even a credit. The first thing you see entering the house is the seams in the vinyl siding. This house was almost $600K, not $300K…have I made my point.

Deceptive sales practices, poor build quality, both in materials and labor, items that are excluded from the upgraded packages purchased, but not disclosed, promised times committed to and missed by warranty department, no follow up from anyone at KHOV. This is our 4th home build, and the absolute worst.

Great community! Beautiful home. Sales and follow up on small builders issues outstanding. DO NOT use their mortgage broker or their recommended legal attorneys. Unless you want your confidential information shared— Very Unprofessional!!! And cost you thousands of dollars in taxes! Even though both the mortgage broker and attorney practice in S.C. Does Not mean they understand the requirements or law! Costing the buyer unnecessarily thousands of dollars.

Not a lot of clarification during sales process. Final inspection much too quick with many questions and concerns left unanswered.

When the house was being built, we were not contacted at the different mill stones. We did not meet the builder until final inspection.

From the beginning, promises were not kept. We were out-of-towners and that really hurt us. They blamed the poor workmanship on sub par contractors. At the price point charged, they should not be hiring poor contractors. We heard way too many times, "we can't fix that, that is just how it is". Also, design choices were very limited. We would not choose them again.

Our project manager Tim was great to deal with and Michelle in the warrantee and home repair area has been great with any issues that have come up. Working on our 45 day punch list now and moving along nicely. Steve in the sales office has been very helpful through the whole process.

We love our home. We had a few things that were not quite ready at settlement but were taken care of promptly. Dylan is an outstanding job supervisor. He took care of everything we needed done.

General consensus amongst almost every resident here is dissatisfaction with their homes. Some minor cosmetic whiles others experience numerous inspection fails.

The staff in our community have been wonderful working under a lot of pressure and with many trades. For a new home we were disappointed in the quality of the workmanship we spent the first month and 1/2 having people in an out of our home fixing things that should have been done upfront. We still have one item outstanding to be addressed we paid for high-end cabinets and the installation was less than impressive. Michelle and Tim worked very hard to assist us in working on getting the trades into address our issues, but here we are with the one outstanding issue. We found the purchasing process quite frustrating. We can not example how many emails and texts went unanswered. The sales team promised everything and then the operating group indicated that they had no knowledge of facts presented. An example. An application for the install of a pool was made apparently denied with no reasons given other that we dont grant approval before the completion of the house. All that was wanted on our part was the ability to start construction once the house was closed on so we could enjoy the summer. This just went on deaf ears Second the whole closing process was a mess. No leas than three closing documents were created all in correct just days from closing. Lastly no explain of the repair process was ever made when the house was finished. No list of number, no contacts no anything. This left us days trying to get thru to people. When we inquired about having the lawn mowed 6 weeks after closing we were told no one informed that department the the house was finished. If asked we would NOT recommend you to any new buyer. Or would tell new buyers to do hold backs on the final close. That you would now ask, months after close for our opinion examples the problem We do not expect to bear anything back from you on this. Very disappointed in the overall process, I paid for an upgraded kitchen only to later find they would not supply a refrigerator. The concrete was not laid properly and is cracking like a spider web. The workmanship was poor, no oversight of sub-contractors, and responses from the builder were nonexistent or spotty at best. Never got the feeling they even cared about the client once they had your deposit. Do not close on your home if there are any issues outstanding...getting them resolved after you move in will be a miracle if they even respond. Their staff is overwhelmed and does not have the ability to manage issues or situations. So disappointed with the overall process and the workmanship of the contractors they hire. What we thought was going to be our dream home, turned into a nightmare of horrors. In my opinion, KHOV is a low grade production builder that utilizes general labor instead of skilled tradesmen. Their end state product is extremely low quality. I would NOT recommend this builder.

Nothing is perfect. So goes the home buying experience. Could it have been better? YES In the long run, all said and done, we are getting settled in and are happy with our purchase. They do follow up on any problems quickly and efficiently. Is the grass greener on the other side of the street? It never is.

Constant change of Constuction managers left out of town buyers on a lurch

All the people at K Hovanian Homes are wonderful. Unfortunately the build quality is not. The Sales Person, Loan Manager and Project Manager have all been extremely helpful and friendly, and approached our interactions with a personal touch. The designers have created floor plans that are creative and livable, and maximize the use of space. However the contractors let this team down, with numerous examples of sloppy work, poor quality and unprofessional finishing, particularly with concrete, drywall, painting, tiling and finish work. I have to keep reminding myself that these are cookie-cutter homes that are built down to a price rather than up to a standard. I realize each contract is probably awarded to the lowest bid, and contractors want to be in and out of each home as quickly as possible, with minimum time, minimum cost and maximum profit. It appears that construction speed and volume are prioritized over quality. Other mass produced products such as consumer goods, cars, electronics and appliances focus on quality and customer satisfaction. These homes are priced at the premium end of the market where quality and attention to detail should be expected, but both are missing in the initial build. The Project Manager has been diligent in getting contractors back to correct and re-work areas of concern, but this is time consuming and frustrating. I would recommend KHov for their people and floor plan designs. But pay close attention to build quality as the home is being constructed and hopefully you can address issues before moving in. ...
