Some issues was not resolved before we move to the house specially the cleaning of the house. The person In charge did not do his best to resolve the problem.

With the right team, my entire experience would have been amazing. Unfortunately the combination I had wasn’t as good. The major issue was internal miscommunication from KB side. Some wished smooth transition and experience towards customer, but at some point the link breaks and messages do not translate as intended. While working with external partners everything went well. Overall, I think experience will vary based on individual and teams assigned to ones case.

I closed on my house Nov 10, 2022. Turned in a issues list approx Nov 20, 2022 and it is Dec 27, 2022 and no call from service care department yet. I did have trouble with front doorknob and one bedroom doorknob and the construction lead came and repaired it (but it needed to be fixed again (on the list) but it's been so long a family member fit it.

The entire process of selecting, building, and finally moving in went well. KB Homes really does take customer service and communication seriously.

Jacquie in the sales office was great. She took the bull by the horns on everything from pricing to touch up after the sale to make sure we were taken care of.

KB updated us every single step of the way! Any question we might have had was immediately addressed. From the job Superintendents Robert and Thomas to our loan officer and processor (Doug and Jacki) everything was smooth sailing.

The Kb team was amazing for first time home buyers like myself made me feel comfortable through the process !

KB homes took 8 months longer to build that we were promised. The house was not ready at closing. We have been in our home two months and they still have not fixed anything. The workmanship is the worst I have ever experienced.

The sales and construction staff and construction staff are absolutely wonderful to work with.

The beginning process was very good. They answered all my questions and kept me Posted along the way. However, I decided to go with KB’s finance department and it was the worse experience ever. Just one month before closing, they decided to not approve me after all and the agent who was handling my loan lied about the reasons why all of a sudden didn’t qualify. I then had to go with a different lender. Serious integrity issues. It was a complete nightmare dealing with KB in general. It’s been three months since I’ve moved in and the house still hasn’t been completely finished because it wasn’t even ready until after the closing date given. ... More

Everyone at KB Home was great to work with! Each individual made the home buying experience easy and wonderful.

Craftsmanship was horrible. Moved in my house almost two months ago and touch up is still needed. Cabinets are not done. Horrible experience.

It was great experience with buying primary home with KB. Sale person Randy is very informative and helpful through out this process. He provided timely updates on every stage. Also, Mitch is hand over home on right time aa promised. He makes sure everything is fine and if anything is required to fix, he fixes within timeframe. I only had bad experience with Kb home loan provider. They didn’t not provide competitive interest rates than other lenders.

I have not receive any update on 30 day visit. I have a broken window that has not been fixed. The tree upfront does not have poles to hold it up, when everyone else has it. I have asked for information about HOA and nothing has come back.

There’s a lot of things that need fixing but if it wasn’t for me discovering how lazy the work was done considering the island power cord was never done under the island except 5 inches away and under the carpet is unacceptable. Thats a fire hazard which gives me more concern to uncover more things as it’s coming along. Ken and Jacquie were great overall and this review is not towards them but towards their works they used which they had no choice in such a terrible market we were going through.

House came out decent. A lot of things where rushed. Dry wall was rushed, painting was rushed and even the cabinet install was rushed. Now these are all Issues that are being addressed with warranty. I just don’t understand how things were so rushed yet the house took a full year to build. Before the pandemic houses would take 5-6months. That and a lot of the workers used were under the table paid and illegal. Specially The painters. And the kitchen island wall has waves in it and not straight because it was rushed as well. Some of the vents for AC are crooked as well because it was rushed. I won’t get answers and I’m already in the house and things are getting fixed. But with all the delays and extra time they had to do the house these things should not have been rushed. That and I also had broken roofing tiles. ... More

I am very happy with my new home by KB homes. From Susan the realtor to Corey and Sabina at the loan office I had a great experience.

Very bad business model. Quality control poor. Would not recommend!

The whole buying process has been great ! They made is seamless, customer service was great, the construction manager was awesome and was able to respond to all of our questions. Highly recommend.

The team at KB Home was great! From the first encounter with the sales counselor all the way to close, the KB team kept us informed of all updates in the building process. There were a few things that came up after move in but, have been and are being quickly addressed.

Everyone at KB Home from start to finish has provided excellent service. Susan in sales, Jaime in build, Nicholas in loan, Dawn in loan and Cindy in escrow. Great amazing team

Overall the experience was good. Took longer than we would have liked, but it's understandable given the world situation right now. Communication with the super, Ken, and sales agent, Jon, were great. Some workmanship is a little lackluster. The are obvious used of the wrong paint type visible in areas (semigloss instead of eggshell), installation of clearly broken cabinets and backsplash left as "good enough", the complete wrong bathroom courteous 6 installed, wrong sized mirrors (we still don't have any a month and a half later), and very crooked hanging of fixtures. We've been ensured the majority of our issues will be fixed, but it seems to be on a back burner for everyone but the super who seems frustrated he can't get people to fix our issues. Sales person and building superintendent were great to work with.! The VA lending process was hard! Lending officer’s were helpful in straightening that out!! Thank you to all.
