Good for equity building.

I appreciate customer service the most and Bill was amazing throughout the process. He always promptly responded to my questions and was on top of everything. I knew everything that was going on with the house building process. The house itself is also beautiful. The only negative thing I have to say is that there were definitely some things that could have been done better as far as painting and cleaning up better but even with that, they were very good at coming back and fixing those issues which I was very happy about. Although I started my home building process at the beginning of Covid, which caused some delays, my experience was great. Everyone was very nice during the process.

There were some issues on the builder part but they made it right and we love our new home

My home is everything and more. My only issues were delayed start and then waiting for the concrete. Other than that this has been an amazing process and my home is beautiful. The superintendent is amazing and stays in touch every step of the way. Thank you KB for giving me my beautiful home!

Please don’t trust them They do not have integrity They say you can get another lender but if you do they will threaten you that you will not close on time to force your hand to come back to them. Very stressful closing process

Overall a good experience with KB Homes

Great building experience with KB. Meet all of the timelines, and the team kept us updated with photos and progress reports on a weekly basis.

There was never a time we could not communicate or hear what we had to say. Uncontrollable issues were updated continuously. Options were on the table as necessary to keep us updated.

All of the KB representatives were wonderful to work with in the process of buying my new home. All my questions were answered promply in a professional manner. Customer service in sales, site manager and financial advice were all amazing. I tuely felt they had my best interest in mind throughout the whole home buildlng process.

lacking quality of build. no interior insulation - you hear everything from the next rooms , especially from the bathrooms and kitchen. Very sloppy!! You get what you pay for.

Had to do 3 walk throughs. When something needed to be fixed, it created other new issues. The person doing the walk through tried to get me to just nod, say yes, and sign off on the house. He got very annoyed when I refused. When other issues arose I dealt with Mark. He was fantastic in getting my concerns taken care of in a timely manner.

I am super happy to purchase my first home from KB, I have got what I was expecting. The quality of the house as final product is super good, exactly what I was looking for. I believe I will do another one in the future.

I have some many issues with this house that have not been taken care of yet. I have asked many times to get these issues addressed and some easy ones were taken care of, however, the dangerous one were not taken care of as of today. We just want to be safe and not be a burden. We feel that our concerns don’t matter. In the future, I don’t believe I will recommend KB to my friends.

Construction Superintendent was on top of all my issues especially meeting deadlines And timelines. Issues being resolved as needed. No major complaints.

The buying experience was really good. However, we did not receive a 10 day follow up. We actually had to call and ask for it. We also have not received a 30 day follow up. Both of which were promised to us.

They kept me informed all through the process and after moving in they quickly addressed any issues that came up and corrected them.

No mitered corners on baseboards. Wallboard doesn’t meet baseboard in the garage. 1” gap all around. Third island counter replaced.

Great experience , they kept me informed on a weekly basis from the beginning of the construction up to the closing date . Attention to details and thorough information on the cooling and heating system , appliances . Excellent personal interaction between Mr Dennis B. And main office .

We managed to buy a new home. Overall, the construction quality seems fine, and the construction superintendent was good at getting contractors to fix a handful of little things. The company was not impressive, though. The floor plan has quite a bit of wasted space, particularly in bathrooms. There is no gas service or phone-company service (CenturyLink) in the neighborhood. That means no gas appliances and no competition for internet service. Despite the company's claims of energy efficiency, the water heater is off the high end of the government scale for cost of operation. The sales person and others in the company were sometimes hard to reach. Avoid using the company's preferred title company, which seems to defer to the builder on everything. The HOA dues are very high for what the HOA provides. ... More
