Trust but verify. Love the location, wish there was a pool

I had some trepidation at first since it was a long distance transaction. Also our Sales representative left the company in the middle of our long distance build. However Christina jumped right in and took over like a champ. Jerry and Zach were also wonderful, kudos to both of them for seeing the build through to the end.

It was an interesting process, just know your house won't be perfect you will find things that will need to get fixed.

Overall, the sales experience was a delight and I can't speak highly enough of Tanya and other members of the KB crew I have had dealings with. The floor plan is perfect for my needs and it's a wonderful area, neighborhood and neighbors. While I understand the current labor and supply issues have taken their toll and caused delays, there has been considerable post-signing lack of communication and getting issues resolved that - IMHO - shouldn't be that major of an issue. I keep hearing "we're working on it," "I'll get back to you." Yet they don't. Yada, yada, yada. My advice? Don't close until all is finished to your satisfaction. Otherwise it might be months before those literally minor but important issues that you have paid for are finally resolved. ... More

The whole process was a fun experience. This was our first new build and getting to see each stage was neat. The office staff communicated regularly with updates and was always available for questions even after office hours or their days off. Some things weren't completed upon acceptance and almost 2 months later they still are not. Things are in the works but I can't give a full 5 stars since the time frame discussed has come and gone. I'll be very patient and understanding of the process as long as they continue their open communication.

We had a couple water leak issues but the KB warranty staff and contractors were all very responsive in resolving the issues. Would recommend each new home has a 'deep cleaning' prior to new owner arrival as our home was dusty and floors not clean. Overall, i would have KB build another home for us. Sales staff and contractor were both very good!

A pleasant experience was ruined by the closing company. I don't understand why we had to drive to tucson with funds when there are soo many title companies nearby. It took 24 hours after the check was delivered to actual closing. I was not told the closing date until it was too late to do electronic transfer of funds.

Buying a KB home was easy. The only problem we ran into was the Losn office.

I enjoyed working with the finance Raul Cunes. He was the best part of the buying experience. We had a good time with the design center. They really were helpful in getting all of what we wanted. We also liked Melena our sales agent. We had some miss communication but in the end she came through.

Initially customer service is very responsive, but about a month out I am still waiting for a hole in the driveway to be fixed and for my towel racks in my bathrooms to be fixed so that they don’t keep falling off. Also I’ve noticed that after a heavy rain the backyard floods and the drainage is slow, so I’ve been waiting for someone to respond concerning that issue.

Love the house but had to wait 7 months for the build. Other houses in the neighborhood have gone up much faster. Like KB Home better than other builders in the area.

Working with sales staff was excellent. Working with contractor was easy and most helpful. Working with financial staff and title company frustrating.

The overall experience was great. Just not much communication from the Loan portion of KB. I ended up using another lender, but I got the house I created which made me happy!

My preparation from Texas was great, I could not believe how smooth the process went. I was disappointed on the initial walk thru at the number of issues that needed to be done. But all the people I dealt with were awesome and willing to help in any way they could. It would have been nice if all the construction was complete, especially when the houses are so close together. I would have liked more choices on the flooring as I am not a big fan of carpet in the main living areas. I still have a few issues to be resolved and because of all the work still needed to be done in the area, it makes it harder to get issues resolved. I love the location of my house, it would have been even better if my back yard faced the mountains. ... More

Great sales in Cristina and super great construction manager Enrique!!! They kept me informed and were my advocate in all!

Overall, I had a good experience with KB. Patience is key with new builders right now. Upgrades are pretty pricey, I wish we would’ve shopped around a little bit. But they’ve done a pretty good job at responding if there’s an issue which is very appreciated.

I am enjoying the new home.

We had some pandemic quality issues but those are being resolved by KB Homes now.

Things were mostly smooth, but glad the process finally came to an end.

I was great the personal in sales department

Contractors for outside stucco had to come back to repair crapy work. Painters had to come back to repaint an area under the eaves all around the house.

Cabinet had to be refinished because of damage. Lights in kitchen stopped working about 3 weeks into living here

Happy with the customer service we received from beginning of project till closing!
