Great staff, helpful with any issues

Cabinet had to be refinished because of damage. Lights in kitchen stopped working about 3 weeks into living here

KB Homes was great. From the very beginning they were very transparent with everything, costs, work that was pending, etc. We went ahead and got an inspection although it was not needed and KB Homes honored all of the work we requested from the inspection and post work as well. Their financing team was on it, they didn't skip a day in trying to get us into our new home. The best part about financing with them was better rates, deals, and guidance on a lot of programs. KB offers decent value for the money and shines in its pre move in time. Overall workmanship of initial construction was fairly good although home was not throughly inspected to find errors. One week waiting period between walk through and final acceptance is costly for out of state buyers and KB offers no compensation. Overall I would give them a B+.

The whole process was very smooth with just the right amount of choices along the way. House was delivered on time (during a pandemic, even) but with a few workmanship issues. Resolving these has been ongoing, not due to delays but apparently from corporate KB interfering with the local office. But so far, we love our new house.

Great process in actually getting the house we wanted instead of settling for just what is offered.

They were very accommodating. They said we would be in here within four months and we were. They fixed everything that was brought to their attention and more. Everyone was very pleasant.

Don't be afraid to ask all questions.

Overall I think KB Homes are good homes to buy. This is my second time buying a KB Home. The first home I purchased was in CA 30 years ago. Great experience! This is my second KB Home. It is in AZ. Not a great experience! I was mistakenly expecting the same customer service as my CA experience. I will only mention the major problem because of time. The home I purchased was completed in June 2019. I looked at the house in December 2019 and decided to purchase it. We moved in at the beginning of February 2020. There were two electrical outlets in the second floor that did not work and four on the first floor. It is now April and I am still waiting for the work to be completed. My main concern regarding the customer service is why they did not check the house to ensure ALL of the electrical outlets were working properly BEFORE we moved into the house! There was plenty of time to do it. My son slept through one of the appointments since he works during the night. It was delayed for three weeks to be completed because of that! The day of the appointment to return, the customer service representative did not call to let me know the appointment was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic! So, my son was up all night and day because of his inconsideration! We should NEVER have been inconvenienced by the repairs since this should have been checked BEFORE we moved in! I would have loved to have little parks embedded throughout our neighborhood however we are a small pocket within a much larger community, and not even the larger community has those amenities. We upgraded our cabinetry and it seems to chip rather easily, which is frustrating considering we've only been in the home since the start of the year.

The KB team did an amazing job in helping me with my first home. They were very proactive. I loved being able to pick out the colors and style I wanted. Overall it was a great experience!

Alan and Carl have been great on the customer service side. We are very happy with our new home.

Good house

Was a good experience with all the KB representatives and I was kept up to date on every phase of the building process.

My buying experience was excellent. Very responsive and always available to answer my many questions. After being here for almost 2 months I notice that there are a lot of things are not up to par. Window that doesn’t lock, window with a very apparent hole in the frame, paint speckles on the floor, area by front door not coated correctly correctly, cover up was attempted with paint instead of fixing it right., baseboard missing in kitchen behind refrigerator, outlets with usb plug are difficult to plug in to but was told that’s just the way they are. Basically I feel there was no attention to detail and don’t think the home was thoroughly inspected before it was turned over to me. ... More

Beautiful location, but construction of the home is not worth the price we paid. The craftsman is of poor quality. It is has been a huge headache dealing with all the issues we found around the house. The customer service has been good to send out the different trades to get the issues addressed, but some of the issues remain. The house was built too quickly and the attention to detail was horrendous.

From start to finish our builders did a excellent job. All involved always kept us informed and quieted our fears. Overall this was a wonderful experience, we love our house and feel the is a great investment. The quality and workmanship is outstanding. Thanks KB for making our dreams come true!

They are cranking out these homes and they are selling faster than they can get them done! We love the layout, quality and service! Everyone was great to work with! Cannot thank you enough!

I have had some issues with the home but the staff has been great at repairing them quickly.
