A screen window was missing and reported it but haven't been fix the issue yet. A head fire at the kitchen hasn't been fix yet too. I reported the second day I got my keys and fixing yet.

When they show you the model homes the are so perfect. I am not taking about the upgrades, but the finish of paint, cabinets, walls, garage door and landscaping. I have many issues minor and major ones. The staff are amazing and knowledgeable but they are small in number and can't keep up. I have to wait for repair a long time.

Some of the materials, like the tiles around the front of my house are already chipping/shattering. Seems like either a cheap product or default. Window and sliding glass door not installed properly.

The reason I gave them a 3 was, because we have had issues with leaking pipes, electrical, and craftsmanship. Despite all that, we’ve been happy with the rest of our home, we love it. And the customer service rep assigned to us has been AMAZING! Every single problem we have had, within minutes he has contacted the required parties, and has someone in our home the same day, usually within a couple hours. That has been our best experience with KB homes thus far

my thoughts on the house

There are indeed problems with the quality of the house. Many areas need to be repaired. The lock on the door has fallen off many times and the door is damaged. The main problem is that the house will tremble whenever a large car passes by!

this House is good, but the Build quailty is shoddy, the walls break easily. etc etc The doors are Plastic. Our previous home was made by KB and the old house was better than this....

So many things wrong with the house. Sloppy workmanship on cabinets, baseboard, patio door and carpet. Getting so many appointments scheduled to fix things that should have been done right the first time is cutting into my work schedule and making it hard to get to doctors appointments. So I’m just done. I’m so tired of trying to schedule and reschedule these appointments and have people interfere with my workday that I will likely just leave many items as they are instead of having them fixed.

1. Well over-priced. KBhome took advantage of hot real-estate market. Unreasonable lot premium. 2. Well over-priced optional items such as flooring. Not much choices such as window treatment or ceiling fans. 2. I still have 3 small issues and 1 major issue (replacing the scratched kitchen cabinet door). Customer Service associate is not responding to my text, emails, and phone calls for the simple status update. No communication what so ever after an initial text communication. It has been 2 months.

Sales was great but when it came down to the building, that was a different story. The move in date got pushed around a lot. The communication was poor. There are still issues in the house that no one wants to address. I’m constantly emailing or calling. The customer service sucks!

So I moved in I December and during that time until now 2 pipes outside have broken. Also it jacked up my hard to which I’m still waiting to get fixed. The AC is a massive issue at first it was set up incorrectly once that was fixed now it makes a super loud sound. The AC people say there I nothing wrong but the sound is differently than when I first got it and even worst I have to turn off the unit at night so I can sleep

after 2 months moving in still dealing with issues I reporting before closing and the date I did final walk. they had me sign and close with the promise of attending the issues, but still dealing with it on top of being disrespected in my own house by Filiberto and he keeps recommending people to do cement so he can get money and quality of work horrible! Any time welcome to my house to see the results

Your customer service representatives is not very active on following up on the issue on the house discrepancy safety discrepancy !!example thermostat programming (?i have to learned it on my own!! Same issue on the outside light programming!! He is not very responsive !!

Had I known that KB Homes does not stand by the products in their homes I would never have bought a home. I will never give a positive referral to friends and relatives, as a matter of fact I have told everyone that they should never buy a KB home. I will be going online and making a scathing post about how horrid this company is.

As with any escrow there were some minor issues that came up. The big problem was the closing. Everyone at KB knew from day one what my drop dead move out date was for the home I sold and I was told no problem. Then I was told on the last weekday before closing that if I provided the closing statement and full down payment by Monday that I would be able to close late Monday and pick up the keys. I provided what thy asked for before 9am on Monday and was told everything was going smoothly. A couple of hours later I was told I may not be able to get the keys until Tuesday, which I could ...
