Do your research before buying a new built from KB Homes. The quality of materials used to build these homes is cheap. So many issues with our new built, what a disappointment.

The quality of the build and finishing work on the home was well below the standards I would expect especially for a half a million dollar house. Multiple issues with the home, some that have taken multiple attempts to fix, and many more smaller issues that at this point I’m just tired of submitting claims. A hinge on the cabinet door in the laundry room keeps coming off, a lot of the door handle throughout the home were placed inside out, the medicine cabinet is crooked and doesn’t stay closed. We had great experiences with the sellers in this KB Home neighborhood. They explained things well and were attentive to what we were looking for in a home. They were patient with us as first-time home buyers and they celebrated with us when we were able to pick up our keys. When we did our walk-through, the contractor was very thorough in explaining how things worked, who to call when, and the best practices for the plumbing and electrical. Been here a little over a month and have had a bunch of issues with the house from electrical to plumbing to paint. Thought I was buying a quality home from a quality builder. Sense of urgency is just not where it should be to get issues resolved. Not too happy.

Superintendent is just talked and no action. He just talked nice and ask us to give good review. He gave us temporary garage door and the one we suppose to get need to be wait for 14-16months. We are paying mortgage and we don't get what we pay for.

This is my third new home purchase and without a doubt the worst experience! From communication, false information, poor quality and workmanship to extra expenses due to extensions on completion dates. We have been in the house now for a month and a half and are still waiting on fix it issues to be completed! We have been very disappointed with our KB experience. It's such a shame to purchase a brand new home and have so many issues due to no quality control. Bought a "model" home. After moving in, I have a huge list of repairs needed and am still unable to use some of the upgrades I paid for. This is my 3rd house purchase, 2nd new construction purchase and the worst home buying experience. I am extremely disappointed with KB Home.

What was bad was the person KB used to help with funding this home were totally incompetent. Had to answer the same questions more than 150 times. Seemed like she did not read or send the correct info to the lender. Very bad experience. Sherrilyn had to get involved sending our info to them also. The best is what received from Sherrilyn, and Ramon always on top of the job at hand. I would give them a 100% excellent grade for service in your new home. When looking to get a loan set up, the response time was very slow and a representative did not take the time to work with us. We had to go with an outside lender to be able to get the loan that works for us and give us details of what was needed. They did not comply with my outside lender with credits they said they would give us nor accommodate us for things they said that they would do. The response time I felt was terrible, but other than that the home is beautiful and the team overall has been great.

5 Stars for Jean, Justin, Kyle with the customer service team. He has a quick response time and coordinates with well with vendors to get issues resolved. 5 stars to the sales team (Lizette). The 2 stars is for the the people who handled the final documents and management team, who I was told would contact me when I had issues with closing documents, but I never heard from them. No need to contact me now, since the documents were signed and we been living in our home for about 2 months now.

They use a lot of excuses when in our master planned community other home builders have no problem building houses quicker.. they used the excused of Covid for everything but so how doesn’t effect any other builder.. just KB.. The house is great and was their loan side, but other than that not good.. horrible first time buyer experience

Disappointed to have a brand new house that has such poor workmanship. Seems there is no oversight of contractors and customer service team has to play clean up. Door casings are not straight, walls are not flat, corners not square. I can go on and on. Disappointed would sum it up.

They made me sell my house to buy this one and then kept delaying the final date. Then when we moved in there was small issues, and then they have us the wrong mailbox key. We had to run around for weeks until we finally figured out the problem

There are little things here and there that needs to be fixed. The Garage door is loose, some of the plugs are loose the bedroom doors have pints all over it and chips, also pint on tiles that we tried to take it off and it’s noticeable. Nails on carpets my little one got poke couple times.

Our House delivery was delayed multiple time in the name of quality deliverables. At the end when we got house and started living. We are very pleased with the layout of the home, the lot and the quality of material. However, final detail work took months! Promises of move-in dates were broken many times between 4 months, causing us to stay in a hotel and spend senseless amount of money while waiting for the final touches to be completed. Higher management did absolutely NOTHING to assist, in fact, they played the blaming game. I was let down from finance to the construction part of it…Jodie Hill the sale rep was amazing….don’t get me wrong the home is beautiful but poor execution…still have issues that are popping up and the old issues not fixed yet….I would only buy a KB home again if it was the only builder in the area that’s it

the buying process was good minus issues related to the lender. After moving in, I have noticed a lot of poor building. Builders cut a lot of corners thus requiring things to be repaired after. The front door was not aligned properly thus the door will have to be reset, the shower drain in the master bathroom was installed improperly and thus the drain is off by about an inch. Inside the kitchen cabinets, their are screw protruding through about a quarter inch.
