GIF in laundry room pop whenever you do laundry. Lawn sprinklers don’t work and my lawn looks dead. Large hole on side of house that we were told would be fixed but still hasn’t. Worker came to fix garage door opener and proceeded to hit the exterior of our house with a ladder and put two holes in the stucco. We caught the worker trying to paint over the holes instead of fixing that stucco. There is no power to our doorbell. Furnace just stopped working tonight. Very frustrated and disappointed.

Don't be silent and not involved in the process. KB will give you all of the opportunities to get what you want. But you have to use your voice and ask questions.

The communication needs to be better. There will be contractors knocking at your door, they'll be scheduled with the builder, but not the homeowner. Things were forgotten on the build, the manpower and materials aren't there to accommodate issues that pop up.

This was not only my first home but my first new build. The sales team was great and sent me weekly updates with pictures of the progress of the home. I was pleased with amount of commutation through out. Once moved in, the superintendent made sure we had everything we needed and the customer service rep went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Due to Covid the completion date was pushed back a little, which was understandable, but they gave us free upgrades on some appliances and free services on the home-to make up for the trouble. The experience was okay. Still have some questions about the garage concrete that I have not gotten paperwork for. Also would have like to see more quality checks before closing and better communication within your team.

The craftsmanship, workmanship and quality are all there as they should be. They’ll do whatever it takes to make it right and they do it honestly and with integrity.

It was a great experience being first time home owner. We were always well informed about the construction progress and we are happy to select KB home as our first home.

Bad experience with the new home buying

Amazing staff! Jeanne was incredible, Doug made the move-in easy and promised to fix the issues we found. Martin came through and gave us amazing insight!! We would do it all over again, but thankfully, we don’t have to!

Everyone was great and very informative, with the exception of Bobby in your loan office. Bobby was just bad at every aspect of his job.

Staff were very helpful in navigating buying process

Experience with the home readiness was very bad. Lot of issues has been raised during the entire process but it was not addressed. Loan closure was the worst experience compared to everything. I was expecting a call from customer manager at least with an apology for what has happened but it never happened.

Great overall value but average workmanship.

Overall good. But workmanship is a bit lacking. AC was installed incorrectly and stopped working less than 1 month of moving. We did not have AC during a weekend in the middle of the summer average of over 100. At first tried to contact the assigned rep for issues but did not received a response within 24 hours, after looking on the KB website, we finally got a hold of 24-hour warranty office to fix the issue. Also, some of the windows are not properly installed i.e. will not completely close. Carpets not properly installed, sticking tacks everywhere. They touched up some of it during final inspection but there are still tacks sticking out when walking on the carpet. Closets rail doors have some markings of screws holes. Closet shelves are not properly sanded and rough on some edges along with closet hanging rails. Overall materials are great but workmanship definitely needs work and maybe more thorough inspection. ... More
