Start to finish, KB Homes made the first time home purchasing process incredibly easy. Everyone we worked with was knowledgable, kind, and helpful throughout. Specifically, Tony & Juan were awesome after we moved in with any is*****s we ran into. Only piece of feedback I would have - would have liked to see more upgrade options on the build quality. E.g., I would have liked the option to put an underlayment / moisture barrier between the plywood and LVP.

We had a lot of adjustments being the first ones a t the sight. It made for a tough transition for us. The KB people did put in extra hours and care for us. We appreciate that Malissa, Mike, and Bob have responded to us out of hours and have gone beyond to help us.

The sales side of the transaction was very good. The mortgage staff was helpful, the realtor that sold us the home was helpful at getting us a fair price, and informing us of deals. That was a very positive experience. Downside was samsung products. A month after moving in the oven broke and there's no warranty to cover it. I contacted KBHomes customer service and they said a warranty was available through Samsung but Samsung said no it is only available 1 year from date of purchase. Either way I was caught in the middle and had to pay $2k for a new oven. Not good when you buy a brand new home and use a stove 1 time. There was some painting issue that we pointed out to the community rep and he still hasn't given us the paint name or come by with the paint (like he said he would) to fix the paint issues. Our home buying experience has been good overall. A few minor problems have occurred and KB has been responsive in solving them.

We purchased a KB home starting in July. From pouring the foundation to the final walk-through, all the KB staff were awesome! They listened to our needs/concerns and quickly worked as a team to make it a great home! The sales team is so nice and genuine. The construction team kept us updated every step of the way. The mortgage team was phenomenal. They communicated well and even researched to get the best deal. KB has an outstanding customer service team. Any questions or needs are immediately followed up on. We love our home and are so grateful we found this KB community!

We recently purchased a home from KB Home and overall, we are very pleased with our decision. The house itself is fantastic, and we absolutely love it. We have had a great experience with the property, and one standout feature has been the leadership and service provided by Abraham, who is the property manager. Abraham has been incredibly responsible and attentive to our needs, always offering his help with a friendly and professional attitude. However, there are a couple of issues that we urgently need to address: The ventilation system in the master bathroom is not functioning properly. This needs to be looked into and fixed as soon as possible. We are facing a temperature control issue in the house. Both the second-floor and third-floor air conditioning controllers are only controlling the fan on the third floor. This is causing a significant imbalance in the temperature regulation of the house. While the second-floor temperature sensor is designed to monitor the temperature of the second floor, both hot and cold air are only being directed to the third floor. This results in a situation where the second floor remains unaffected, but the third floor either becomes too hot or too cold due to continuous air circulation. This issue is making it difficult to maintain a consistent and comfortable temperature throughout the house. We would greatly appreciate it if these issues could be addressed promptly so that we can fully enjoy our new home. ... More

Mortgage team is great and great incentives for veterans. We got everything we requested. Great and easy process.

The home buying process from the KB Home staff was excellent. Consistent and timely communication on the next steps. Follow thru on making sure we understood what would take place next. They were right on target with completion dates. Once we moved in the staff would check in daily for any issues we needed taken care of.

Construction process was well explained and manager kept us updated on progress. Pre and post sale resources are good, issues identified are being rectified on time.

Broc, Abraham, and Rigo are all amazing and very helpful.

Our new home buying, building and financing experience with KB Homes was outstanding in every way from start to finish. The entire KB team was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, responsive, proactive, caring, diligent, and delivered a customer service experience of the highest standards. Some of our KB Cypress Point team members deserving of special recognition were: Malissa, Bill, Jerry, Danie’l, Alison, Maeve, Scott, Alan, and Miguel. All were terrific and all are a credit to the KB organization. We could not have asked for better support or a better outcome!

What really stood out as far as the home buying experience was the prompt customer service and attention to detail that agents such as Malissa provided. Quality was pretty good for the price paid providing overall great value. Some of the standard options wear pretty good and the purchase price included several upgrades such as track lighting and a full solar system that couid cost tens of thousands extra. Finally KB Homes provides access to a Design Studio wherein you can go in and personally choose your upgrade options for flooring, kitchen cabinets etc; this was an invaluable experience.

All the staff were always friendly and helpful. I got all the help and assistance since day one and until the end of the process. Great experience

It has been over 12 weeks since we purchased the home with 6 solar panels. The sales lady told me she was going to follow up in setting up solar connection and I don’t need to do anything about it. Thus far there is no progress nor any updates despite my repeated asking. This is pretty disappointing and I find KB homes ranking worse than Beazer with regard to Solar operation.

applying for the loan through kb home experience was not running as smoothly as it should be extremely lengthy and repeated requests for the same document over and over and the knowledge of the early preparer for the loan was not quite professional or organised and sounds like he is already overwhelmed with what he already have .

KB Homes has good service team

We were extremely disappointed in our countertop upgrade. We paid a VERY high premium upgrading from granite to quartz. We mentioned our desire for a one piece top. It ended up being 2 pieces with a visible line down the middle. It was never disclosed to us this would happen. We would not have paid to upgrade if so. Especially the design we chose-it ends up being so visible. We would have picked a different design or paid zero extra and kept the granite offered and upgraded ourselves later. In addition, you can see permanent smudge spots all over it, like it had a poor job during the sealant finishing. So it basically always looks smudged. The sun glare hits it so it is very visible. One of the backsplash pieces was cut too short as well, so there is this squishy goo filler used to fill in the space to the top of hood, which is not very premium looking. Another thing, the fridge space was only 35 inches wide, most fridges require at least 36 inches for a decent sized fridge-so we were very limited in our fridge selection (another house in same development had 36inch width). There is also a non-disclosure of a water pump instead of a pressure regulator. The garage door perimeter weather seals do not seal nicely. The outside water gutters blocks the nice tile esthetics of the front entryway-although they were nice enough to help shift it a bit to make it better-but still, the original design choice was odd. ... My first home buying journey was made simple and smooth. From the moment I walked in to the office to the moment I got the keys Therese made sure all my questions were answered (Barnie Style haha) and actually had my best interest in mind. 1. Make sure you look at the model / plan before purchase. This detached home come with neighborhood's air-condition sit inside your back yard and the air blow into your living room sidedoor when the AC is on. 2. They do an unnecessary plant/tree on the sideway to backyard where a paveway is needed instead for trash can to pull into backyard. Because of the plant/tree, there is $200 cost to submit to HOA for review just to remove the plant/tree and add out of pocket to add paveway. 3. Don't sign any closing document until they fix all the issues during walkthrough. Also, make sure it is all clean. I just realized how dusty the cabinet, closet, and floor is until I move it. The window is dirty from the paint as well. Overall, it is not a good experience especially for new home where you expect everything is good when you move it. ... More
