Our buying experience was great from the first time we met Sherrilyn and took the time for a great lot and home selection. The KB Design team was awesome. From there it was Rainer and Brian who made the final transition exceptional. We really appreciate the entire SD group for making our buying experience stress free and actually pleasurable.

There was a long list of issues that were documented prior to closing that I am still struggling to remediate. Some of the issues were dealt. However, big ticket items like kitchen cabinet is still pending with no visibility to resolution. The Sales staff, Construction Staff, and Customer Service staff are NOT the problem. The Staff are all super nice. But the process doesn't lead to resolutions. Had I known that the warranty claims process would be this time-consuming, I would have never closed on the house. Buying a KB home feels like I am dealing with an insurance firm, where getting claims dealt takes forever with zero visibility to issue resolution. ... More

While the overall homebuying experience was not terrible, the delivery delays were incredibly frustrating. The most disappointing piece is some of the delays were avoidable but the builders poor communication and honesty was not transparent. The attention to detail in the home was lacking. Finishing details and QC before items were installed and permanently affixed is lacking. Care of craftsmanship missing. For the cost of the home, my expectations were much higher and it's obvious that things were done in a rush, which is frustrating because now I'm the one left to deal with the warranty repairs and fixes. ... KB Homes made the home buying experience comfortable. As a first-time homebuyer I was nervous and didn’t quite understand the whole process. KB’s staff was friendly, informative, and worked with my realtor to ensure I was getting taken care of, and perhaps most importantly, that I was happy. I was given weekly update photos through the entire building process so that I could see the progress of my home which was such a cool experience, and showed how persistent they were to ensure I was informed. Upon completion they had follow through and showed me all of my home features, and all of the resources could need if there was an issue (there hasn’t been one yet). Still, months after I’ve moved in, I get regular check ups to make sure everything in my home is up to my satisfaction. It’s a great feeling to know that I have a staff of employees and a company on my side in this endeavor and I’m happy I went with KB and got my home. My husband and I felt our second home buying experience went smoothly with the exception of delays which at times couldn’t be helped. We enjoyed the sales office personnel and the ladies were both very helpful and prompt. The complaint that we have is that several things ( crooked drawers, crooked appliances, crooked fences) were installed poorly the first time then the tradesmen had to come back to install correctly a second time. A better eye for detail needs to be embraced so that there isn’t poor workmanship passed on to the owner and more work later for KBHomes.

We enjoyed working with each KBHome staff who helped us from purchase to move-in: sales, options, financing, construction and move in. If I ever buy another new home it will be with KBHomes! Thanks

The Kb team responded quickly to our concerns. A water leak was discovered before closing that was addressed quickly. Another water leak was discovered upon inspection. Inspection showed the water pressure regulator, for our new home, is not working and the actual water pressure is double the normal one. We reported that to Kb. 2 Toilet tanks were cracked and leaking. One was replaced quickly. Plumbing contractor tried to address the other one in different ways resulting in more leaks and delays. Almost 2 weeks later, we found that the water pressure regulator was not fixed and the pressure was around 120. The Kb team was responsive but their plumbing contractor was really bad and negligent. ... More

My sales POC Bill Farr has been outstanding. He is very knowledgeable, willing to help and quick to respond to any questions/issues. He made this purchase a nice experience.

The sales team was amazing and helped us every step of the way. There were a handful of quality issues, such as missing medicine cabinets and countertops having a rough residue on them. But overall, very happy with how things are getting resolved

Nicole was the highlight of our home buying experience. She put forth all the effort to ensure our family would be taken care of through the home buying process. Home quality is up to standard with only minor issues that have been getting resolved in a timely manner. I would recommend KB for new home buyers.

We absolutely loved our KB homebuying experience and the house they built us is very well made. From the moment we started talking with Will, our KB Lender and Angelina our KB realtor everything has been better than promised and even the delays were completed faster than we were told. Now that we are in our home, there are small things that the home needs, like a few dead plants, a couple outlets that don’t work, etc but in comes the KB customer service team. The process of buying my first home was easy, the portal is neat and organized, everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. The house is built with quality materials focusing in areas of the house that needs strong materials. I can control/view many features from my phone, front door camera, alarm, heater/ AC, Water and solar panel. KB makes sure the customer is happy and I know by talking with my new neighbors. They have a great staff

Surpasses my expectations on how well the whole team work from sales to the contractors and their continuous follow ups to make sure that the house is as 100% to my satisfaction.

I suppose when a developer is going a million miles an hour to build out a new housing community, there's going to be some misses. But some are hard to get past: a dented dishwasher that didn't match the make and model originally chosen, AC installation that had the drainage lines hooked up backwards, granite counters unsealed and cracked to such an extent that the entire slab needs replacement, cabinets for a built-in fridge with a cutout too narrow to fit a standard 36" fridge, missing garage door opener panel... I could go on. It takes an exhausting amount of time and energy to repeatedly follow-up with customer service on claims. So be prepared to be diligent and advocate for what needs fixing. Prior to move in, the sales office team was very engaged, helpful, and responsive to ensure a smooth closing. If only the full homebuying experience could be as smooth as it was working with them. ... More

I love working with the team! Tammy, Rory, Maurice, and Pat are very helpful! We have little supplies issue, but they fixed it as soon as I mentioned it. I love the team

KB Home was extremely helpful during every step of the home buying process. I am a first time home owner and everyone involved was extremely professional, helpful, and genuinely cared about my home buying experience.
