We have been wanting a new home and so we paid KB Homes a visit. The salesperson Lori was so friendly and helpful told us that there was a house available and if we were interested. We agreed and gave her the needed information and we were approved! The rest is history! We love our new home! Thanks KB Homes for answering our prayers!

My overall experience was good. Unfortunately due to covid communication had big gaps and prolonged delays.

we would recommend when we moved in we feel real home . the builders always update and check on you. whatever you need to be reach out they always here for you.

Process is slow on loan approval due to poor communication between builder , loan coordinator and appraiser. Appraiser was not communicating well

The buying process and completion date was great except for some miner flaws of workmanship and upgrade option issues but has been fixed and now satisfied. Thank you!

The house is good except few finishing touches. Such as no weed barrier under the mulch in the front yard. I suggest future home buyers should do a good walk through,

Home buying experience is great! A bit pricey on some options. Quite responsive to some issues but some may need to push back to get fix.

My overall experience with KB Home was great, they are very helpful, and they were always there to answer any questions or concerns !

We had to wait an additional 5 months due to PG&E transformer. Then when the transformer showed up, no one was on site to direct PG&E on which home to install the electric meter. So the first 10 home that were completed ended up being one of the last home getting moved in due to meters were installed to homes that recently got built. But “Upper” management didn’t think it was necessary to provide any additional compensation because they didn’t want to show any “favoritism”. But yet, home buyer that only waiting 3-4 months got to moved in first in reverse order. Fully inspect your home during your final walk before move in. Plenty of mistak/short cut that needed to be addressed. 1. Corner of the walls have crack due to “settlement”, (address this before the customer sees it then). 2. “Upgraded” kitchen sink had a manufacturing defect, they tried to cover it up with paint….now they have to rip the entire counter top to replace the sink and I how to wait 10 days without being able to use my kitchen sink for a family of 6… 3. Inspect all area that should receive caulk, they missed plenty of area. 4. Garage door belt was tighten so tight that the motor was thinking that something was hitting the door every other time we tried closing the garage door. I had to adjust myself. 5.restroom came equipped with “humidity exhaust fan” that doesn’t turn on when the restroom has 100% humidity. Smh ... More

It could be better. Alots of miscommunication.

I’m still waiting to have my exhaust fixed. It’s more than a month. AC is not fully functioning in one of the rooms. I requested AC people to check it. Until now, KB person has not scheduled an appointment. So frustrating!

Not a good experience!! Would never refer anyone to purchase a home from KB!

Recently i bought my first KB home, though i have multiple investment properties, the quality, and workmanship are of a way low standard. The wrong cabinets are installed and post-handover, I have been asked to reinstall the cabinets. There is no space to access master bathroom from one side. Overall a very terrible experience with KB Homes.

Multiple issues with the KB house after we moved in. You have to file claims to fix these issues and it takes long time for the construction problems to be fixed. All appointments are scheduled during my work hours. Do I need to quit my job or hire a house sitter to be at home for all these after purchase repairs? It was the worst decision of my life to buy a new construction/KB home

I would recommend buyers to be aware of KB homes, they have put my families safety at risk knowingly but selling us base level carpet which has sharp tacks sticking out from it. I have had a number of issues with the new home, damaged cabinets, sliding door not closing properly, bad fence, door handles coming off, cracked windows and the list goes on. I have tried getting answers but they have not been keen or polite in response. We have had 1 walk through through out the build by a person who does not reply to any calls or questions. I highly caution you on your build and please hire a private inspector throughout the process do not rely on KB Homes to be honest. ... More
