ensure that all problems are fully resolved before you receive the house. Never sign the papers after walk-through if you have any issues in the house,they will say they gonna fix it just sign the papers but it will take them forever to fix it! Once the turnover is done, it is very hard to fix these issues, particularly when dealing with customer care service

Sales person was very helpful and seemed very honest. When calling customer service of issues noted, we were told they would relay the information and have items corrected. No call back for a couple of months. I was told there would be a final walk through to review all systems of the house. This never happened. Post sales customer service is poor.

After final walk through and move-in the customer service rep has been terrible!!! This rep sent the after closing email with a few attachments which included a performance review that he completed giving himself the highest possible rating, could not believe this! Extremely slow to respond (if he even responds), seems very inexperienced answers are always “oh just look on line” or “we don’t do that” even if the KBHomes indicates you do! One plumber he sent out said “oh he is the laziest person! Very sad and not a good representation of KBHomes! Dissatisfied with after purchase responsiveness! This reps attitude, lack of customer service makes me question the actual KBHomes warranty, appears to be no way to get a different customer service rep to work with. He’ll say he will get someone here or let us know answer to question and it rarely happens, we have to follow-up with him! You’ve hired a person who is not reliable and lacks responsiveness,unfortunately have heard same issues with this person by many neighbors in this new community. ... More

Great experience in each step of the process..

We love our new home and thankful that it worked out. Everyone was helpful through the process and shout out to Brielle for looking out for us and being so attentive. We had a very bad experience with another builder and when we walked away from that, we were blessed to find KB Homes. The experience was totally different and very good. We are so thankful that we chose KB Homes!

Overall, I had a positive experience with KB Home. The team was very accommodating, responsive, and professional throughout the process. They showed a genuine effort to understand and meet customer needs, and their follow-up and communication were consistent and reliable. The quality of materials used in the home itself is solid, and it’s clear they value good workmanship. However, I did feel the process was a bit rushed at times, with pressure to stick to tight timelines. It would have been helpful to have more flexibility to carefully consider decisions along the way. Also, while many options were great, some upgrades felt lower in quality than expected, so I recommend choosing upgrades thoughtfully and asking detailed questions before committing. Terrible experience with building team and sales. Not a builder who keeps the customer in mind since everything done is always rushing the customer. Mistakes were made by builder yet customer has to pay the price. Unable to trust Tami, Nick, and Al.

The floor plan is prefect for me. I have plenty of storage space. The plan function well for me. Minor issues that were resolved within a day.

My experience with the KB team has been absolutely amazing. It has been the best experience from beginning and to the end with their communication, down to the details of my home. They truly made this a stress free experience. This is my forever home and I am truly in love with my home.

It was a great experience with KB team from the start to closing of our home. A good feel to see the building and working with every member of KB. However I felt we didn't get a fair treatment as regards payment and unnecessary charges at closing

Signing on with KB Homes came with a promise of “weekly” updates; as well as 5 site visits. We were disappointed with the fact we didn’t get weekly updates. The reason was usually that there was a monthly Monday meeting. If that is the schedule then call on Tuesday, don’t skip a week. The site visits were as expected for the first 3 but then they were compacted together. Lastly, the amount of trash left on site (both on top of and under the bark) is unacceptable. I have found the expected nails & staples; however chunks of twisted metal, sheets of plastic and particularly a 8ft rebar (under the bark) is a bit much and I would expect respect for the property, not a “hurry and move on”. Because that is how it represents itself. After the move in stay in contact with the customer service rep to take care of issues. We have encountered 15+ blue tape items and our rep has been very responsive. ... More

Buying my new Home .from KB HOMES was a great experience . The Agents were very knowledgeable and helpful they explained the process in great detail and they really wanted you to have that new house Give them all a 5 stars in the KB COMPANY who help me out. Future buyers give them a shot I think you will.be very HAPPY .

Overall great experience. Well, there were a few defects that were addressed within a month with excellent quality. So, great job there! That's why I'm totally satisfied with that. Though, the fence issue is something that a bit strange where part of my fence was changed AFTER I moved in and it cannot be addressed for about 2 months... That's the only strange thing

Given this horrendous disappointing experience with sales, construction and customer service, we do not plan to do business with KB Homes again nor recommend KB Homes as a viable option. We take pride in companies that display respect, dignity, integrity, accountability and sincere customer service. We have had experiences with The New Home Company and Tri Pointe Homes, which have all surpassed the level of customer service, integrity, and overall satisfaction we've recently experienced with KB Homes. The lack of professionalism, integrity and accountability speaks louder than words. ALSO, we’re noticing the home is built poorly. Paper thin walls. Pretty sure they used styrofoam and sheet rock for walls…only put wood behind sheet rock for load bearing walls, which is less than half the house- making it freezing during winter.
