KB homes did an amazing job in ensuring we got everything we wanted and still closed in a timely fashion with COVID-19. My spouse was on leave during the lockdown, and Rich was able to work with us and manage a timely close date. They bent over backwards to provide what we needed and overcome the many obstacles during the lockdown.

Sales experience has been thorough, personalized, and beyond expectations.

Home buyer experience was fine. Quality of materials used are fine. Major construction of the home itself is fine. Many details and follow through not completed appropriately.

The house seems to be well built, layout is well thought out, houses are very attractive, internal touches are nice Salespeople’s and builder were fantastic when purchasing but once you sign for the house they drop off the face of the world(probably how it is supposed to work), but the warranty person doesn’t pick up the slack. Takes multiple emails to get any response and then weeks to schedule workers to come out. The warranty workers only show up half the time which starts the cycle of trying to get a response from kb warranty all over again. Neighborhood landscaping is going in now and they just planted 4 northern red oaks on the side of my house in a line with 5ft spacing in between. Is this a joke? These trees grow to 40-60ft tall and have 25-40ft wide canopies when mature. Seems poorly thought out. ... More

Need a lot of rework done! Roof leaks floor squeaks on 2 rooms! Stairs sound like there falling apart. Window Not square! Paint falling off out side! Poor craftsmanship done with kB homes! Sad but true!

Waiting for completion and repair of fencing (overall- poor execution) miscellaneous broken items inside and outside the home. Lack of response and therefore attention to these matters is unacceptable

We do not advise other home buyers to get the idea that you are buying a new home. Home was not and still is not after 2 months 100% completed. Quality of workmanship is lacking and not upheld by supervisors. People seem to have good intentions but actions are not reflecting this. Issues that had been pointed out before are simply being deferred to

My title sums it up, quantity over quality. Two months after closing and they still can't finish off the list of items needing to be corrected, for any one removed, two are added (poor workmanship). Contractors show up and either don't know how to fix correctly (they sent the new guy), the fix is worse than the original issue, they just don't show up at all, or cancel the day of. Someone might respond to your concern, but don't expect it to be fixed for months (if ever?! TBD...). I no longer trust in the follow through to be sure work is actually completed well, all the way up to regional manager. I could go on, but as this is at least the second survey we have done and so many items are still outstanding, I am tired. Maybe that is what KB was hoping. Sad. ... More
