My hometown is in IL, where the real estate market is much more reasonable than it is in CO, so I found all builders prices outrageous! KB is the best value w/ the best customer service I've found; from the sales rep to the individuals throughout the entire process, you can't find more pleasant, helpful, patient people!

Overall we are pleased with our purchase. We have found the staff at KB to be very good to work with. On the sales, construction and warranty side we have found them all to be responsive to the issues that have come up and to work towards a positive outcome. This is going to be a very nice community once it is complete.

Overall it was a great experience working with the entire KB team. We love our new house!

Every staff members, from construction to sales and loan services, were extremely friendly, courteous, and respectful. Their professionalism and knowledge were very helpful.

KB Home staff and work crew were phenomenal in their approach, completion and follow up! They genuinely cared for my satisfaction and took every question, concern and comment I had with patience and willingness to want to correct any concerns and follow up on anything I needed! Any other builder will have quite the shoes to fill if I ever have to move, but I hope to be in this home for a LONG time! :)

Overall, very happy with home except for too many outside and garage stairs (6) for a ranch home. Also, porch handrails do not come sanded so plan on homeowners doing that themselves. Otherwise, good work and done quickly.

We were thoroughly pleased with the process from sales to design and construction. Our KB sales and construction manager contacted us weekly from permitting through closing.

KB Homes has done a very good job at educating the new home owner on the ins and outs of home ownership, and what to expect. We're impressed with the walk through done for the new home, as well as the education on the appliances, warranties, and things we may encounter as a part of owning a KB home. The quality of workmanship is good as well.

Great staff, from the sales office, customer service (warranty) and design studio. Everybody very nice and helpful at all times.

Good overall experience. We bught a spec home but liked most of the upgrades installed. If issues come up KB fixes them so far.

I love my new home

My home is great, but I have been having issues getting my furnace working properly. Hopefully this gets fixed soon before it starts snowing. Beautiful home, but it would be better with working heat.

1st time home buyer, no complaints other than from KB financing team. They are like used car salesmen. Constantly calling after I told them we went through an outside company. One week I got 8 calls by 5 different people... Annoying and very unnecessary.

Supply chain and lack of workers made things difficult. Not KBs fault.

That to stay on top of all inspections so that they do not run into water leaks. Then have to have home ripped up so the can dry and repair. Also.make sure all parts are there for any appliances they buy fom KBhomes.

Warranty person ignored my request.

Overall the home buying process was pretty easy. I had been in the home now about 40 days. I do feel KB needs to hire better contractors who actually value their work rather than just slapping together a house. I have already had warranty out to address issues and they had to send 5 companies to fix the everything. Warranty has been very good and are quick to get things fixed which is nice. Overall I’m satisfied with the house.

As I said in the title, so far, so good. Looking forward for that to continue.

4.5 stars. Subcontractors should be supervised more, just giving them notes on the upgrades failed several times.

Attached home Arvada CO. Excellent-sales lead and crew, KB home loan personnel and weekly communication. Design studio-process to customize interior-was also excellent. Build quality is average. Value is harder to quantify given rapid price increases in neighborhood at time of purchase.

The overall experience was good. The sales team was great, the kb home design studio was great, the kb home mortgage team was excellent, closing went well. The only hiccups are with the finishing of the home. I would have expected it to be in a better shape when closing. We have numerous issues that will need to be resolved over the next few months, like creaking floors, furnace problems, toilets and hardware not well aligned, some aesthetics with paint and drywall. It appears like this is common with new builds but I just wished there was a higher attention to detail prior to closing. These should be addressed as part of the warranty, but it's definitely an inconvenience. ... More
