Overall KB was easy to work with. They do weekly calls and checking to make sure the building and buying process is on track. With every build there are hiccups but they try to minimize this by checking in often

Overall, I am happy with my new home. I am disappointed with the inconsistent communication with the warranty department. I was supposed to meet my rep after a month It's been almost 2 months and still not scheduled. The workmanship is a bit disappointing. I have two walls that are bowed. couple drywall returns around the windows were crooked and had to be fixed. I have a broken kitchen drawer and it feels like attention to detail was ignored. My Superintendent has been great! He's the reason I scored KB as high as I did. He fixed quite a bit that warranty should have handled. We had a wonderful experience in our community with our sales team, and construction team. I hear your experience really depends on these teams. If you ever get Braxton, Jason, Diane or Lindsay you are in excellent hands. Our Superintendents stayed on top of the crews to put together a quality, and sturdy home. The home is incredibly well insulated, and blocks out external noise very effectively. This is likely because of the Energy Star certification. Since it's a new construction, you need to set your expectations appropriately: no home is perfect. There will be minor flaws and imperfections. You could spend millions on a completely custom home and still wind up with imperfections and things that were done weird. But you can focus on the big things (e.g. concrete, electrical, plumbing, the guts of the house, etc) and ask questions about the little things (e.g. Should the transfer grill rattle when closing the door? Buying a brand new house is a scary prospect but KB Home really delivered on quality and service. From the praise made by inspector on the foundations, to their willingness to deal with every minor detail I could think of before closing and after moving in, to the fact that I could only find minor issues and half of them turned out to be just ignorance on my part, I couldn't be happier with KB Home as the builder of my new home. They earned my trust.

Jeff, our KB Home sales rep extended our closing date in order to accommodate our difficulty in selling our previous home.

The sales and construction team did a great job at keeping us well informed each week. Those check ins were very important to us since we were out of town buyers. We love our home.

We have had a great experience with KB homes. Have not turned in any warranty work yet and hoping to have good results with that as well. Staff have all been very friendly and professional. Gave responsiveness to issues a 4 because we have not turned in any issues yet and trust it will go well.

Purchasing any new home is a bit challenging - from financing to final walk through - its just part of the process. Yet overall, things went smoothly. I like the layout and the price I paid for the home. Overall - excellent.

KB Home was the best experience in buying my first home. I had ti opportunity to choose every detail and make my home unique. From start to finish, every process was done professionally. Everyone was on top of everything to make sure my home turn out, my dream home.

We felt supported from the moment we walked into the model home in our new KB Home community. Martin on the Sales team was wonderful at fielding all our questions or finding the answers if he didn’t have them himself. As first-time homebuyers, we were nervous and unsure with some processes, but the entire KB team (sales, construction, design) guided us every step of the way. We’re so happy with our new home!

The build took a bit longer than we expected but we are now in our new home and are loving it. There have been a few growing pains but that was to be expected and my contacts have mostly dealt with them quickly. Overall we are happy we built new. The KB team has been fantastic.

It was a good experience from start to finish.

To me, Sale, design, and Super for KB are awesome and amazing people to work with. My sale counselor was updating me with all the info and always there when I need know either the first or second on the waitlist. My design counselor was staying with us for additional 3 hours for us to pick all the stuffs. That was awesome. Our original super left the company so the other super had to step in to help from other subdivision. He was pretty great to work with and honest with anything we asked. The only thing that making my wife not happy were our back patio door wasn’t lock properly even though we locked it. Our lock for garage door same thing which not lock properly and the track was a little loose. Our cabinet got a little scratches but we got the touch up kit so we are okay. And some damages on drywall that wasn’t fix right. If KB can hire the better GCs to do their work that would be perfect. ... More

KB Home was very personable and went out of their way to help me through the process of buying my new home. Even before my closing, they helped me coordinate needed deliveries and made sure things were safe and secure.

They respond quickly when you need them. Very pleasant and professional people.

The entire KB Homes team has amazing customer service.

Would recommend to friends and family. Very likely to purchase another home from KB.
