We moved with lot of expectations but it seems like expectations doesn’t work parallel with kb homes construction

Very slow to react to any issues with our new home.

The sales and construction team were better than average. I wish that the architect put more thought into the room designs and that the building supervisor would have communicated the changes made from the model. KBHS was terrible, use your own lender. We love are home and will continue to work with the warranty department to fix issues.

The quality of the finished product at final walk through was not as expected. The project manager did not seem concerned that this final issues we pointed out 2 weeks before closing were not fixed the day before we were to close. We had to beg them to get the issues fixed 24 hrs. before closing. We have also had a number of issues after closing. The driveway needed to be redone twice and the roof leaked into the home and things got wet inside. Other than that we like the home and the floorplan works well.

Great experience up until turn over of the home. several ongoing issues, no landscaping yet (and no sign of it happening anytime soon). get the feeling that there is a "pass the buck" mentality going on. with all that said, we are really happy with the home. just frustrated that we have/had to deal with some of the issues that should have been done at or prior to closing.

The team of folks KB provides you makes the process fun and reduces the stress of building a new home. All 3 teams sales, care and loan, will take good care of you.

We had a good experience with KB home.

Bad experience from the start. We were vastly misled from the beginning on when the house would be built. The sales team was difficult to get a hold of for any updates. There were things we were told during the sales pitch that turned out to be not true (i.e. the siding and roof was covered by the HOA, when groundbreaking and completion was... this was especially frustrating as we had an expiring lease and the house ended up being 3 months late). I will say once we got their leadership team involved, they did everything they could to resolve our issues. That is the only thing saving them from a 1 star review. ... More

Awesome building experience!! Great options and good quality workmanship.

My experience with KB HOMES was phenomenal. As a newly divorced later-in-life female I approached this journey with great trepidation. In retrospect ... I had nothing to fear. All my expectations were exceeded in terms of craftsmanship and communication. Everyone from A to Z took such exceptional care of me. I cannot say enough positive things. Rather than 5 stars I wish "infinity" stars was an option.

I would buy a KB home again.

Absolutely the worst home building experience I have ever had. Overpromised and underdelivered, untrustworthy and unresponsive staff, poor workmanship. I closed in May and still haven’t gotten to finished product.

During construction- take care of the surrounding property for those who have moved in during construction.

KBhome have good team workers from the house agent, superintendent, loan officer, just name it. they will work with your time and budget.

We had a wonderful sales experience and were pleased to be able to visit the house through the construction progress. However, once we moved in we found that there was something wrong in every room --cracked toilet tank, carpet that needs to be removed throughout the house due to "lumps" in every room, bending shelves in the pantry, and many more. The warranty team has been exceptional, but we wish they would have done it right the first time.

The process from start to finish was great and I'm very happy with my new home purchase.
