The experience has been stellar. The buying experience was the best. The craftsmanship of some of the build could be better. But that’s to be expected with such a fast growing community. All in all our issues are being taken care of by Anthony, and our Sales rep Kathy was awesome. So far loving it.

The Loan process was a nightmare

It has only been a little over two months since my closing date, and my homebuilder, Tyler, is no longer responding to issues that I've brought to his attention for the past month. The main issue now is the irrigation system. I've paid over $2,000 in water bills for a five week period. In a past phone call, Tyler accepted blame for the issue, and we discussed a reimbursement plan. I have followed through with that plan, and Tyler hasn't responded to my email, texts, or phone call. I'm not willing to accept that loss, so it looks like I'm going to need to contact a lawyer concerning that issue. Further, when I responded to my first KB survey and had issues (mainly a home inspection report that I got after closing that showed problems with the roof), I requested that someone other than Tyler to contact me, and KB simply had Tyler respond to my issues. I'm sure KB won't publish this review without contacting me, so I'd appreciate it if someone higher on the ladder at KB than Tyler will contact me. ... More

We were satisfied with the overall experience during the entire process from start to finish, there was a bit of a delay at the end however it was not a big deal. Anne, Anthony, and Derek have been awesome to work with.

Too many issues to list, workmanship is subpar, KB says they will send back contractors to make repairs and nothing gets followed up on. Disappointed, just bought the home and considering trying to sell it.

We closed two months ago and are still awaiting major repairs, roof, driveway, flooring etc. maybe buy a fixer as the work would be done more timely and to a better standard.

The KB Home is Very Energy Efficient, my last power bill was on $55.00 dollars. Highly Recommended.

Everything from going to the grand opening, working with our salesman Brian, then the design center was seamless we lived out of state, but they always worked with our schedules. Once they broke ground both Tyler (construction supervisor) and Brian would send us pictures and updates, it went pretty quickly. they were always available to answer questions even on their days off, we recently closed .Even then they have helped us with letting deliveries being dropped off. Great company everyone has been freindly and professional

5 Different closing dates.Not a good experience.

This is my second KB Home & I am as happy as i was with my first purchase in 2013, that is why I chose KB Homes in Palm Coast to build my retirement home. Very happy with the floor plan we chose in Whiteview Village & the upgrades available at the Design center let us personalize our home exactly as we wanted!

She is awesome! She was great to deal with during the home building process and addressed the issued I had after settlement quickly.

The drywall, paint, landscapers, and tile/flooring companies are NO GOOD!! Plumbers & electrical are exceptional! AC company is ok. Brand new build my roof is already leaking due to the ridiculous open vents on roof. Do not allow them to put these open vents on your roof. Every time there is wind and rain you will see water leaking from your ceiling inside your home!! BEWARE!!

Well Thad Kathy Anthony were exceptional. House buying was great. House issues are still getting fixed but they’re always on it. I’m happy with everything. They have done a good job taking care of me with my house issues. Thank you all.

The staff has great communication. And respond quickly to your issues. But th only bad note was the workers that were sent to repair/ fix the issues. Some had bad attitudes & some workers show no pride in there work & leave a mess.

We purchased a KB Home in Las Vegas and had a great experience. We purchased a more expensive home in Florida and it has been a total disaster from the day we got here.

We are very disappointed. We made a list of items that need to be fixed. We were told contractors were coming but we had mostly no shows. We would text and make calls and no response. Painters came in to do touch ups. No drop cloths and got paint on our rugs. My wife had to get paint out. There are no transition strips down and the rug is fraying. Never have I seen rugs installed and transition strips not put down. We only been in the house 3 months. The ceiling in the lanai is wavy due to the trusses/rafters being bowed. Garage floor is full of stains. Ledge in garage is crumbing. Tile in kitchen is crooked by 2 inches and the wall is not leveled. Tiles in master bathroom are beveled. The cement outside the house is sloppy workmanship. We had to go back to Pennsylvania for several weeks and we were promised that the work was going to get done. So far we been home for 3 weeks. As far as we can tell since we have cameras we only saw two people outside our house. We saw no one go in. We were promised pictures as the work was completed. So far we haven't received anything. From the beginning conversation till the very last day and beyond! KBH took care of and continue to honor their word on quality and operational excellence. Would build with them again 10/10

Ty was very helpful in taking care of all the work that needed to be complete to make everything right and ready to move in.

I expected some problems when building a new house but was shocked at the subpar craftsmanship and communication I experienced during this process. I still have many items on my to-do list that I brought up before closing that haven't been addressed four months later. After moving in, I was rushed to take my 30-day survey early and pressured to give a good review, even though one was not deserved, and then literally forgotten about. This whole time, I have been patient and understanding as I know they are busy and overworked, but sadly, that has only gotten me pushed around and overlooked.

Our home was completed ahead of schedule. Sales personnel were helpful during the process. The construction supervisors, were responsive to concerns during and after construction, and communication with them was very good. They have a challenging job, as the skill-of-the-craft is not what it used to be within the trades, so followup issues kept them quite busy.

These guys really go the extra mile for you as a customer/homeowner. I gave only 4 out of five stars on "Quality" because of the items we listed on our pre-closing walkthrough - like some paint, grouting, things like that. Speaks to quality of workmanship (and supervision?) moreso than materials

KB does make the home buying as easy as possible

I waited on doing this review for things to get fixed but Im just constantly let down. Appointments missed, appointments where people come out with no materials, craftsmen coming and making more of a mess, I am just not happy at ALL.
