We love our neighborhood and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at KB as we worked through the process of buying a townhouse and moving from out of state. It was definitely a tricky process because of supply chain delays, but in the end, everything worked out well, and we are happy with our community. KB has a great warranty / follow-up program to make sure any issues are well resolved long after we've signed off on the house.

Just really stay on top of your house being built

There were a lot of false promises and even til this day I cannot get issues resolved

Buying a new home was always our dream but dealing with kb homes has been a nightmare. We want our home to look like the model home that we toured and fell in love with instead unfinished issues inside the home and trying to get kb home to complete the issues is ridiculous I regret ever getting a home built through kb home

Told 9 months to build it took 12 months. I spent more than expected going to the showroom top dollars on top of purchase of home not including land expense just be aware of separate charges

The whole experience was great. We love our new home.

Communication was horrible when it came to updates or just anything in general. I had to ask what was going on or if anything had changed. It got to the point where I took the initiative and checked on my own with the permits, construction, etc. I love my home but the experience could have been a lot better. Not to mention my home was delayed for over 30 days because of the first superintendent leaving and nobody gave notice to the homeowners about it.

My experience was not very good, as a matter of fact it was less than desirable. There were so many outstanding issues that needed to be fixed before closing date that I still waiting to be fixed almost 2 months later. I waited 11 months 3 weeks for the house to be completed, I would have gladly waited another week. The way the home was turned over to my was just UNACCEPTABLE!! It was dirty, paint splatter on the bathroom and kitchen floor, missing lights in the bathroom, bedroom door unable to lock, painted shower head in the bathroom, chipped cabinets and much more but you get the idea. Construction workmanship quality is lacking, lots of corners cut, follow up and fixes from construction supervisor is almost nonexistent. The promises for all hands on deck to fix a multitude of issues was not delivered.

My best experience was with my loan officer he was the best the closing was very easy very smooth my stress level was very low that to me is important.

From start to finish, this was a stress free experience. The KB Home staff at Orchard Park exceeded my expectations every step of the way. Marianna's constant communication and responsiveness was very much appreciated. I knew exactly what was going on with my new home and the process every day. Likewise, Ty got involved when closing time approached and worked with Marianna to keep me updated on every detail. The final inspection was better than expected with only a very small punch list of incomplete items. Ty had almost all of those completed within one day. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention how well the KB Home finance team worked to help me secure the loan. Jayson and Suzette were so professional. This company has made promises with very slow progress in delivery. I am experiencing water retention against the foundation of my home. The rain water last for days. I have been requesting a drain installation however months later after closing in April now June no French drain just leave with standing water.

I am very disappointed in kb home builders because we closed on March 31, 2022. There are still issues that I brought to the superintendent for Carter Landing subdivision in Jacksonville, Florida (Chris) and csr (Cody) whose been downplaying our concerns, but continue building other homes around us as if everything is nonchalant and fine. I have sent pictures through text, provided them with list of concerns, provided them the information to fix our issues and they have sent out several individuals who have showed up, but not have fixed our problems.

Great community and they will get your house to your liking
