This year was affected with raw material delays but the kb team kept us well informed

I was pleased with the salesman and how he handled things.

I must say that it was a thrill to have a home that I would be the first to live in it. The feeling to see it from a open field to a house was exciting. There are some things that certainly could have been better, from the communication of work stoppage to delays of supplies. Even though some materials wasn't the greatest but the applications could have made up for it. Quality of workmanship certainly brought up questions of integrity

building took over one year with small issues still not addressed after two months post closing.

Extremely disappointed when I moved into the property. There were so many deficiencies with this new construction. It is evident there was no quality oversight provided. Some of the following deficiencies include the windows not properly aligned, several areas needed a new coat of paint, missing door hinge, missing seal strip on the front door and garage entry door, missing sliding door screen, access to the attic was not leveled and painted, dry wall issues, leftover flooring was scattered in the garage, dead mosquitoes on window ledges, rust in the tub area due to old screws, white cement or caulking bits were on the tub, very dirty sliding door track. Just recently, the irrigation in the back pounded on the back glass sliding door making a loud noise very early in the morning. There is currently a temporary fix and not sure when it will be permanently fixed. Also, just discovered and reported a water leak in the garage to Luke yesterday. In addition, thought dual paned windows would be a standard but it is very apparent they are not nor are the walls condo specs. This feels more like an apartment instead of a townhome. One positive comment is Luke and Gunner's quick responsiveness. They are very professional and make every effort to try and resolve issues as quickly as possible. This should not be a reflection on ther performance on trying to resolve these issues. I realize KB is using contractors and laborers that do not work directly for KB but the builder should take accountability for not putting in appropriate and necessary quality oversight in place. The property in itself is far below expectations. If I had known these were issues I would be dealing with a brand new KB townhome, I definitely would not have made the purchase. ... More

I loved the beginning process, picking my home, the design center, even the finance process was a breeze. The construction side was not the best, closing was pushed back multiple times, I understand that part due to covid. Multiple things weren't complete when it was time to close. 2 months later I still have a few things Im waiting on. Its frustrating.

I don’t even know where to start here. 5 closing dates which were all pushed back, heavy pressure to close when house wasn’t ready, terrible follow up about things needed to done from superintendent and customer service, overall poor craftsmanship and not to mention my $2000 “full overlay cabinets” were different than in the design studio and they refuse to do anything about it. I will never build with kb again or recommend kb to anyone. No accountability in this company from the TOP down. I’ve been in my house 2.5 months and still have a laundry list of things that haven’t been done. Everyone loves to talk nice but no one gets anything done. Buyer beware. The only part of this process I was 100% pleased with was the sales team and the title company. It’s a shame no one takes pride in their work anymore. Sales rep was prompt on lot and model availabilities. Design Center appointment was exciting and handled professionally, but responses after final appointment were not responded to. KB Home Loan team was great to work with and received prompt feedback. Superintendents resolve issues as fast as they can but at the mercy of the contractors. Many contractor quality and workmanship issues found during the build and after closing (aren't these supposed to be caught and fixed prior to closing!?). Unfortunately, from observations and experience so far, if you rate internal KB surveys with avg or low scores you put yourself at risk for slower to no responses to issues during your warranty period. ... KB has a good variety of floor plans and is focused on energy efficient homes which is a nice feature. You are limited on structural changes and upgrade items but overall it's a good value and well built home. They are easy to work with including their loan department and will work resolve any issues you may have.

The whole buying experience was amazing! Rogreguez kept me update weekly during the entire building process and Stacey was amazing with the follow up and touch up things. Love my new house

Overall I am happy with my home and any issues I’ve had, Cody has been awesome in resolving everything.

Easy and convenient process of home buying

I really enjoyed buying my first home with Kb. The buying process was weird so to me being remote most of the times. The major problems came with communication. It was times where I’d bring up an issue that myself or my lender needed an answer too and wouldn’t hear back for days. Also upon moving in there was and still is problem such as the appliances in my home that have not been addressed.

I feel that for the price paid for the home, the quality should have been better. I continue to find things , that's not well put together.

I’m very happy with my KB home they always answered my questions they always called and let me know what was going on regularly and I think they did a great job

Our experience has been a rough one. Its been two months and our house still has a lot of work to be finished. People have been slow to repair anything at all and there are many issues that even though they were addressed nothing has happened. Overall my house still needs a lot of work.

From Sales (Jamie) to Mortgage (Beau & Johannna) to Construction (Luke) to Warranty (Kenny), the KB Associates that I have dealt with have been the BEST!

The best part of this process was the mortgage lenders, Derek specifically and Andrea staying on top of things. I definitely think the workmanship and quality of products are poor for the price paid. I understand the market, but it all seems rushed and put together with little care from the builders and contractors chosen.

Every person involved in the process from actual signing of the contract to detailed follow ups and updates during the construction process is great. Then the follow ups are done in a very timely manner.:,

The delay on handling things around the house after closing has been a very frustrating experience. This is my first home and I was not expecting so many issues because it's a new build. I closed 2/17/22 and still waiting for things to be taken care of. Now I have a ceiling leak on top of that.
