I Had a decent experience. Best part was how consistent the property manager at Carter landing Keri was. She was the best with keeping me informed of progress of the home while it was being built . I didn’t care for how inconsistent the superintendent was. Seemed like he was overwhelmed with his work load. He could use an assistant covering so many communites

We’ve had several issues most of which have been dealt with but the quality of the workmanship was poor lack of communication throughout the process was poor,and I feel we should have gotten some sort of compensation from kb for the inconvenience caused to have the repairs done to our new home…

The house was rushed at the end, and a lot of things should have been done a lot better. Interior walls have very little strength and the flooring trim work is terrible. the lawn was done poorly and has to be redone.

For the price I paid for my home. I am very surprised of a lot of the issues, that I am coming across. And, when advising of the issues, I am not getting them resolved. I asked, since I am not getting issues resolved, if my warranty be extended. I was advised no.

Been here for almost 2 months and still don’t have my fence up because HOA won’t get back to me. I’m honestly super disappointed with KBHS for not answering quickly. I have my back fence and side fence with the hoa and both are on my property. Been trying to get this figured out so I can get my fence up

Customer service after my move in was bad and i would suggest the team at least to respond if customer is calling. Dry wall after fixing my bathroom pan is left for more than 20 days during the period of Thanksgiving. I have called customer service but no response yet.

The builders were rushed and did a poor job on details. They wouldn't allow me an additional day. I had to close on August 20th. If they had held off for another month, the issue I have wouldn't exist. The paint job is poor, the cracks in almost all corners in the Master bathroom weren't sealed. Cracked tile in the master bath and instead of replacing it the put grout on it. Wood around the island is not flush, it puckers in the corners. House was not ready at closing. Stated things would be handled shortly after. Now over a month still having unresolved issues including neighborhood infrastructure still not ready. The home buying as far as the loan and sales were ok. The quality of the workmanship on the home is subpar. No quality control. The vendors used needs to be held more accountable for their sloppy workmanship. Still awaiting response for my squeaking floors. Placed a workorder several weeks ago and no one has responded.

It took 15 months to build our home start to finish and it wasn’t even fully completed when we were pressured to close at the end of April 2023 so corporate could meet their goals, and we are now facing ongoing repairs and issues with the craftsmanship inside the home. KB REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to pay better workers to come in and build the homes. You guys would save so much money in the long run. Stop thinking so short-term with your costs and just think what a glowing review we’d have left you if your craftsmanship would’ve been better. Also, if the home would’ve actually been completed ...

There is no ownership of the contractors hired to build the homes. When I call to complain because my “NEW” home is having issues. I continuously hear “that’s the contractors fault”. The way I see it, if KB hires the contractor to do the job they should be checking over the work and making sure it’s up to the standard that KB is claiming.

I was surprise that I had so many issues after closing on my KB home. I bought my house contrary to my realtor, telling me not to buy through KB homes. I hope they will use better materials in the future, and provide more for their home owners.

My experience was very bad since the closing was delayed three times without prior notice. When they delivered the house, it had many unfinished things and some poorly done. Communication was very difficult and it wasn't because of the language, as they once told me, but rather because one called and they didn't answer the phone or emails.

The experience was much better in the very beginning. I had to close without the home being completely finished. Almost 2 months later & I’m still told things are on back order. This company has made promises with very slow progress in delivery. I am experiencing water retention against the foundation of my home. The rain water last for days. I have been requesting a drain installation however months later after closing in April now June no French drain just leave with standing water.

Extremely disappointed when I moved into the property. There were so many deficiencies with this new construction. It is evident there was no quality oversight provided.
