I feel that for the price paid for the home, the quality should have been better. I continue to find things , that's not well put together.

I have reached out on multiple times to the superintendent, Luke, with no response.

It was our dream to have a home and at the beginning our experience was pleasant. However, we can’t believe it’s just COVID that has made our experience decline so drastically. If we would have waited to have our home just right we would still be living out of motels and friends homes. We have reached out to warranty multiple times and have had no response. Great reviews are wanted but not warranted.

Our house was 2-3 months delayed due to 1 person. Our lawn is the worst lawn I have ever seen due to a bad quality sod product and install. KB Home seems to think the problem will go away on it's own and are sitting on their hands.

The people were great, but the construction was not. I can tell their homes are quick construction builds with many mistakes throughout, and the community is not done (shutters are missing paint, dents in the gutters, paint missing on buildings, etc.). I have submitted numerous requested for repairs and haven't gotten many follow-ups.

Still waiting on drawer for guest bath. Move date 3/19/2021 2 months still waiting

Do your research first, get a realtor lawyer to review your contract and offers, visit your construction site every week, stay on top of construction.

It would be great if could stay a week or two to check over everything before signing. So you can see what need to be fixed or more attention received

Quick to build, quick to move on.

We have had issues with flooring, a crack in the ceiling in the master bedroom, and the exterior paint. These concerns were addressed promptly but after a month repairs have not been made.

KBHome will build you a decent home quickly. Everything was completed to plan and order, albeit with slightly unacceptable workmanship and small issues. They are extremely slow to resolve issues after closing (if they resolve them at all) so I do recommend you set yourself up for success by not closing until all major things are fixed. I say major things because there will always be small issues with any home builder and thats acceptable. Price is expensive but they give you a lot of options. For the price, however, I would've expected at least a minimum amount of attention to detail. Sales staff is nice but won't communicate quickly and aren't the most knowledgable. I can recommend KBHomes but I must insist you at least get a quote from another lender and you higher an outside home inspector. KBHome likes to offer a lot of money off if you close through their lender (for me they offered $5000 off at closing) but as soon as I went to another lender I realized it wasn't any cheaper because they charged me almost $5000 more in other areas such as "paperwork processing" to make up for the discount. Home wasn’t even finished when we closed (rushed to make their nov. 30th deadline) paint quality is terrible it’s comes off with the slightest scrape, closed almost 2 months ago and still don’t have a screen door, asked for a fence quote 3 times and never got one. And home was filthy after closing, had to ask for it to be cleaned. After talking to neighbors it seems like we’ve all had this same experience so it’s not a 1 time fluke.

Paint all over the floors and kitchen appliances that we now have to remove. Not happy at all.

A month before closing we saw issues with the home that needed to be fixed, in order to delay the closing we inquired prior to the walk through. They said all issues would be addressed the same week and closing and be resolved quickly before closing. I closed on 23 June and it is now 11 August and I still have several items from my initial walkthrough that should have been fixed.

The craftsmanship of the home we bought was not very good. We hope to have all the issues fixed during the home warranty period.

We have been in the house for almost two months and the 10-day list we reviewed with the Superintendent and then Cust Service Mgr and now we must submit to KB Warranty dept. We have primary shower not complete, no shelves in linen closet, missing 5 window screens, drywall cuts and holes to be repaired, water leak in the pantry and drywall removed by the plumbing company needs to be repaired, missing trim, debris under the carpet that was not swept before laying upstairs, damaged hardy board siding and the list goes on. I’m not sure if I should feel manipulated, lied to or if I just have to be even more patient. I was told there would be consistent communication, however I don’t get any calls back or returned text messages. I was told that I would be given a gift if I gave a positive review, which I did and still have not received it nor the actual things I’ve paid for. At this point I’m just wondering can I call the vendors myself to get things done because no one else is. This is extremely disappointing.

The materials used to build this property are cheap and very poor quality. The work was done really bad. 2 months later still waiting on repair for things that were broken or incomplete. If they tell you that they will take care of you and not leave you hanging, don’t believe it. They will make you feel like you are asking for a favor, but you are really asking to do their job and give you what you paid for. I will not recommend, We are very dissatisfied and disappointed with the house we received.

Not enough management overseeing construction. Everything is rushed and no one is professional. Do not follow up like promised. Very poor quality of workmanship & material.

Sales team was misleading and work needed after move-in was a nightmare.

I bought a house in Feb/March 2025 and moved in on May 1,2025. So far everything is below average Sprinkler system is out of wack, sprinkler heads broken or non functional, system missing a piece for full functionality, tree removal request fell on deaf ears, today a door knob fell apart , house was built in 2024 and was on inventory, I had bad experience with sales team who actually are more of a car dealership.Garage door is like we are opening a tunnel door beside I greased it still makes horrible sound Internet lines were messed up so Xfinity charged about $200, to put cable through for Internet, we are waiting on at least to start addressing issues Per neighbors they had to struggle 3 months to get minor things and sprinkler system fixed Let's see how long it takes for us One month is already gone. ... I did my closing on August (two months ago) and I’m starting to have issues with the home pertaining to roofing, walls tearing out and breaking, squeaking floors on the second floor, loose toilets. Definitely not satisfied with KB Home, they rushed at the end to closing and for this reason I will not recommend this home builder. Comparing with other home builder that I’ve seen, KB have lower construction standards by far.

Lack of presence of of the promised appliances on the day of walkthrough like No Stove range, no Microwave. Lot of small issues needed to be addressed and it took almost 45 days after forcing the buyer to close on the property. I had to make repeated requests to make repairs and customer service is NOT customer oriented team at all. KB homes threaten buyers to close on the property when it is NOT move in ready. Very disappointed that as big as KB Homes building umpteen number of homes in the area, conducting in this unprofessional manner taking the joy of owning a new from the buyers. I heard the same complaints from other home owners in the locality. Simply disappointing and frustrating and KB Homes won’t give a hoot and won’t budge in to compensate either. The entire experience is one of the worst I have ever had and this is the third home that I’ve built. The completion time was twice as long as I was promised, and the quality of the work is mediocre at best. It’s almost impossible to get things resolved off your punchlist. I have been in the house for two months and things that were supposed to be resolved after my 10 day walk-through are still not resolved. It’s only recently that I started dealing with Mike one of the people in charge of this development that I have been able to get things addressed, he is great but the entire experience has been horrific. ...
