KBHome will build you a decent home quickly. Everything was completed to plan and order, albeit with slightly unacceptable workmanship and small issues. They are extremely slow to resolve issues after closing (if they resolve them at all) so I do recommend you set yourself up for success by not closing until all major things are fixed. I say major things because there will always be small issues with any home builder and thats acceptable. Price is expensive but they give you a lot of options. For the price, however, I would've expected at least a minimum amount of attention to detail. Sales staff is nice but won't communicate quickly and aren't the most knowledgable. I can recommend KBHomes but I must insist you at least get a quote from another lender and you higher an outside home inspector. KBHome likes to offer a lot of money off if you close through their lender (for me they offered $5000 off at closing) but as soon as I went to another lender I realized it wasn't any cheaper because they charged me almost $5000 more in other areas such as "paperwork processing" to make up for the discount. Nice new home

We have been in our KB home for a little over 1 month. So far, we are very happy here.

I was so pleased with the design options that were available. The Lincoln floor plan is a great one for an elderly person. My 84-year-old mother loves her new house! The workmanship was great; and we had an awesome superintendent. I would definitely recommend KB Homes!

The sales people are so friendly and helpful keeping you weekly up to date on progress of your home. If you are out of state, that is so comforting. The studio takes stress out of picking so many things. The building supervisor is so organized. He works really hard to accommodate! You will no be disappointed with KB homes.

Not enough management overseeing construction. Everything is rushed and no one is professional. Do not follow up like promised. Very poor quality of workmanship & material.

My wife and I are very happy with our purchase. KB was amazing to work with from the sales staff, studio staff, construction staff, and the warranty staff! Each and every interaction was pleasant and professional. Usually, there is at least one negative interaction but not with this team. 5 stars across the board. Would highly recommend KB Home to anyone looking for an awesome home personalized to their liking. Love our home. Love the neighborhood.

They had so many re-work to be done.. many mistake. some work are not done professionally... expensive with less choices

AC designs have had to come out multiple times to repair AC unit. It's an inconvenience and still have to work with them. I wish the house was finished and tested everything before we moved in. We are still dealing with some issues with plumbing and missing fixtures.

Important to be fully engaged in the production process. Pay attention to details and take proper notes: who, when, where, and why. Especially the pre-walk-thru, and final walk-thru before closing. Punch list completion after closing is onerous, some issues still open six (6) weeks after closing.

Class Act

We love the Covington floor plan! The kitchen has tons of cabinets and the island is huge. The combined family/dining/kitchen room is huge, yet very cozy. The master bedroom is cozy yet holds our king bed and three large pieces of furniture with ease. And the master closet is basically the size of a small bedroom. KB landscaped nicely and our driveway holds four cars easily, unlike all the others we looked at. Overall, very pleased!
