The Process from start to finish was fast.The quality and the value of the house is great.The experience with the builders wasn’t as fast after the walk through; However they started completing the job. New buyers make sure you follow through making sure everything is completed in a timely fashion.

Joe helped me with the process of moving in and the after care and he did a great job and he was always quick to help out. Overall I had a great team my realtor Brian was very good and so was my loan officer Tori. Great experience and would recommend to others

So far I have ran into many issues. I have a bad Carpenter ant infestation. Part of my walls weren’t even painted right. The pavement on the driveway has things not right. The construction people made a lot of mistakes. I would not recommend KB Homes. The lenders were hard to get along with. Susan C. the sales associate has been great.

KB home is terrible, I regret buying my first home with them, and everything in the house is broken and not properly put together. They’re management team sucks and all they do is bluff and talk and don’t get the work done when things need to get fixed. I am grateful to be a homeowner but I wish it wasn’t KB. I would rather go to dr Horton, yet they wanna complain their customers aren’t satisfied and get upset that we’re upset with them, I feel like I brought a 50 year old house because of they built everything in and out the house but complain when I say things are not done.

Check everything before you move in walls, floors ceilings and diagram. For the most they were pretty fast to come fix the items that were wrong.

Loved working with Brandon! He is always very responsive to out questions and issues that we have. All our new neighbors say the same thing!

Better communication between me and my loan officer. Ended up paying more in the closing because my closing date wasn’t specified to me PROPERLY. I would also like to state that I’ve been in the house for a month (the house isn’t fully up and running, minor fixes) and only one of the minor issues have been fixed. It’s unacceptable. Glad I can have a home but as a first time homeowner the whole experience is traumatizing.

Lack of presence of of the promised appliances on the day of walkthrough like No Stove range, no Microwave. Lot of small issues needed to be addressed and it took almost 45 days after forcing the buyer to close on the property. I had to make repeated requests to make repairs and customer service is NOT customer oriented team at all. KB homes threaten buyers to close on the property when it is NOT move in ready. Very disappointed that as big as KB Homes building umpteen number of homes in the area, conducting in this unprofessional manner taking the joy of owning a new from the buyers. I heard the same complaints from other home owners in the locality. Simply disappointing and frustrating and KB Homes won’t give a hoot and won’t budge in to compensate either. Cindy my selling agent was great. I do not like the fact that certain things were left unfinished and sloppy, granted they have been fixed, but I guess things were being rushed to meet a deadline.

The home buying as far as the loan and sales were ok. The quality of the workmanship on the home is subpar. No quality control. The vendors used needs to be held more accountable for their sloppy workmanship. Still awaiting response for my squeaking floors. Placed a workorder several weeks ago and no one has responded.

Writing reviews is a good thing. But when you move into a new home and things are not right. I'm not a happy home owner. Too many problems in this home and nothing has been done about the problems I'm having. I need someone visit my home to see and understand why I'm not a happy homeowner and should be.

The finance team was great. Very responsive and never did they my address my questions or concerns. The builder, however, has not been trustworthy. The first superintendent behaved as if I was irrational in expecting him to properly fix issues. The second superintendent dropped the ball and is now attempting to schedule contractors to come out. All the while I have to request time off from work to address issues that were identified and assured would be fixed prior to closing. I am incredibly disappointed and appalled at some of the requests made. I held my end of the bargain. I hope that KB Homes will finally fix the problems and stop the process of inconveniencing me. The superintendent should have never accepted the crappy workmanship of the subcontracting companies. It is really a unpleasant for friends an family to see door that was never painted nor hung. Doors not closing as they should. Doors not fitting properly and a shower/tub tile work that is subpar. Not level in many places. There is more but I hope to catch corporate’s attention. Overall experience has been great. Especially with getting punch list items done. They are done efficiently and effectively.

It took 15 months to build our home start to finish and it wasn’t even fully completed when we were pressured to close at the end of April 2023 so corporate could meet their goals, and we are now facing ongoing repairs and issues with the craftsmanship inside the home. KB REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to pay better workers to come in and build the homes. You guys would save so much money in the long run. Stop thinking so short-term with your costs and just think what a glowing review we’d have left you if your craftsmanship would’ve been better. Also, if the home would’ve actually been completed in a timely fashion instead of thrown together at the last minute so you could make your closing goal for the month. We love our homesite and community, and the repairs will be completed in time, but we just wish KB would care more about the homes they are building. Get rid of your cheap labor and pay your people better so you get better quality workers in your homes. Foreign workers or not, don’t scrape the bottom of the barrel to save a buck, you’re now going to pay for it on the back end anyway. Not smart business, and not at all good for customer service. Your Superintendent Grant and Project Manager Justin have been awesome and responsive to our concerns, but they can’t fix shoddy craftsmanship because they can’t watch every homesite daily to catch the bad work. The entire experience is one of the worst I have ever had and this is the third home that I’ve built. The completion time was twice as long as I was promised, and the quality of the work is mediocre at best. It’s almost impossible to get things resolved off your punchlist. I have been in the house for two months and things that were supposed to be resolved after my 10 day walk-through are still not resolved. It’s only recently that I started dealing with Mike one of the people in charge of this development that I have been able to get things addressed, he is great but the entire experience has been horrific. ... Good home buying experience overall

Everything good and professional people working there. Recomended 100%

16 months to close. They tried to close earlier multiple times but work was not complete. When we finally closed there was still a list of things needing completion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience building with KB home. We've heard horrid stories about other builders, so we were nervous building new construction. However, the KB crew from sales to construction to financing as been awesome. They really made it a priority to make sure we were happy with our home. Can't expect more than that!

We closed on the home April 20 and I let the builder know that they had 3 weeks to fix the already existing issues until my family moved in on May 12. When we showed up to the house 3 weeks later the house was unfinished. The same issues were still not completed. The house wasn't even cleaned and ready for us to live in it. There are items that we paid for that aren't installed on the house and vice a versa.
