The floor plan was awesome & the superintendent was great to work with. He is very knowledgable.

The build was late. 2 months after living in the house and we have NEVER had a working microwave. Issues have been outstanding since moving in, week after week we’re told ‘it will be done this week’ and nothing ever ends up happening. It makes it worse that these are minor issues that could all be done within an hour or 2. It’s annoying as it is a prime example that KB hire works with poor workmanship that obviously don’t take pride in their work, these items were obviously also overlooked by the management who should have picked it up.

Charges top dollar, delivers DIY quality

Our build took 10-11 months and we received several updates that were inaccurate during the process. There were several occasions where work was advised to have been completed but was not. The quality of the build was nothing spectacular and there are plenty of flaws due to KB’s choice of contractors. We have been in the home for two months and we are still waiting for issues to be corrected; such as the lawn being replaced due to dead, weed infested grass being installed. Also, we were in the home for a month and we found out that our blinds were never ordered until we had already been in the home for 3 weeks but we paid for the blinds during our design process. Thankfully the supplier of the blinds was willing to prioritize our order due to the lack of dependability with KB. Terrible experience. First home buyer been my dream to own a home and my dream was shattered. Multiple unresolved issues months since closing still till today. Very poor responsiveness from builders who is clearly overworked with too many houses. Will do my best to avoid kb homes in the future

WoW, the home build quality is as low as it can get. Exemplifies that the company is having severe trouble engaging skilled workers compared to its competitors. Every. corner of the house displays extremely poor workmanship (walls, ceilings, paint, baseboards, doors etc.). I am hoping that the framing, electrical work, plumbing is ok). Will only find out after some time elapses. The biggest culprit though is poor responsiveness to get the issues addressed by the construction operations. They are busy building homes and then closing them as soon as possible to get money without any sincere intention to ensure homes are delivered with quality nor on providing good customer service. No wonder, survey conducted for home owners (who closed on their Gomes since 2021) shows that Kbhome is ranked at the rock bottom of the 20 builders based on the quality of its delivered home and customer satisfaction. Affordable homes that gives u the opportunity to fully customize to your taste, being Involved in this process is a priceless opportunity.

The home that KB built for us is our first home. My husband and I love the great customer service that Angie gave. She made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Tony is also amazing and we truly appreciated all the calls we received from him, while he was building our home. The only downfall would be the Financial part/mortgage originator rep named Rosa. She was not responsive and we definitely didn’t have a good experience with her. So needless to say we went with another mortgage company that was more helpful and responsive.

KB Home staff are excellent people. The responds to all my questions, quick, and accurate.

Excellent home and overall I’m very pleased with my home. I closed back in September of 2020 and I couldn’t be happier.

Contractor say will fix "issues" but you don't hear from him over 2 months.

I like that they don't hold back lots and make potential homebuyers bid. Also, pleasant customer service experience from all parties (sales, design, construction, mortgage, warranty)

Everyone was helpful and informative. Good communication and updates. I really do love my home.

Issues with construction take too long to be corrected. Construction manager is eager to help with issues, but once he passes the information to higher up, it seems to drag on.

Everything was great would definitely recommend KB to anyone.
