Overall Good experience. I would like to have better model displays in Design Studio.

KB has a good variety of floor plans and is focused on energy efficient homes which is a nice feature. You are limited on structural changes and upgrade items but overall it's a good value and well built home. They are easy to work with including their loan department and will work resolve any issues you may have.

Great experience even during in this day and age.

As a first time homebuyer, I was looking forward to the experience but was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. For the most part, the initial process was fine, however, after deciding to utilize another lender the process seemed to deteriorate. The closing date changed a few times and seemed rushed and pressured while the house was nowhere near ready. After closing and signing the closing documents, it was days before I received the keys as utilized a different lender (not KB). The whole buying experience was amazing! Rogreguez kept me update weekly during the entire building process and Stacey was amazing with the follow up and touch up things. Love my new house

There is a consistent lack of quality in both the materials used and the workmanship that went into the construction of this house . And trying to get the most basic items fixed has been a disaster. Again, they have over promised and under delivered.

The entire buying/building process was extremely impressive. Each and every KB Home employee was a true professional, knowledgeable and passionate about what they did. What impressed me most was that I never had to ask for updates during the building process. From Terry, the sales rep, to Joey, the project manager, the communication was flawless. While each was responsible for their own “slice of the pie”, everyone knew what the other was working on and toward. I closed on my home a very happy man who still sings the praises of KB Home to anyone willing to listen.

The loan process was scary at the end not knowing what was needed to close until the last minute and it pushed me back on close dates because of not being told I would need bank transfer for closing! 4 days after moving in I had a jacuzzi jet break and caused water to run through my roof into downstairs causing roof repairs carpet, tile, trimming etc to be replaced already. Cole the project coordinator very helpful and fast at replacing everything but the workers have been leaving jobs about 90% finished causing me to keep asking for workers to come back and finish things they missed instead of doing it right the first time!! My first home and now almost two months later, I’m still getting things fixed from the horrible water damage the jet caused that broke off jacuzzi tub in master bathroom. Not getting what I paid for, I feel like at this point to be honest. I think things were looked over that shouldn’t have been. Also had to get some frame work done on floors upstairs because I was getting squeeks when walking and some uneven surfaces. That’s been fixed now but not some paint and trimming that was caused I’m still getting that done when they can. Doesn’t feel like I bought a brand new build home like I did, with all the repairs already! ... More

Understanding of individual needs

From the sales team to the builders themselves…each were kind and considerate. It wasn’t just a sale of a house…it was the building of a relationship.

Just a great experience from beginning to end of the process!! I love my home!!

My experience went better than expected! Other than material shortages and constant push back dates on closing, it was out of their control! Overall I’m very satisfied with my house!

1. Well over-priced. KBhome took advantage of hot real-estate market. Unreasonable lot premium. 2. Well over-priced optional items such as flooring. Not much choices such as window treatment or ceiling fans. 2. I still have 3 small issues and 1 major issue (replacing the scratched kitchen cabinet door). Customer Service associate is not responding to my text, emails, and phone calls for the simple status update. No communication what so ever after an initial text communication. It has been 2 months.

This is my second KB Home and only my second home in 21 years. GREAT homes!
