Still waiting for construction deficiencies to be addressed AND corrected. 60 days in, very disappointed. Sales & financing went great - all other aspects are lacking.

This as been a terrible purchase. My son use to work for KB home and tons of things are happen that he said are not the same when he was there and he is the reason I purchased this house. The Finance company tried to rip me off with the rate, construction was unresponsive and didn't get work done in time for closing. As a matter of fact there is still work outstanding and my son had to coordinate most of things himself because he was tried of waiting on construction. No one at KB Home order the Certificate of Occupancy, so my son ordered it himself from the city of Cibolo. No one from KB communicates and apologizes for closing a week late and work unfinished. ... I had a great experience throughout the buying process, starting with meeting Girlie in the sales office. She was patient and kind, and made sure every hurdle that came up was taken care of. After move in, when we needed a minor issues fixed, Ben and George were very responsive and took care of concerns quickly

Overal I think the house is beautiful and was worth it. I think KB could do better in certain areas. Do not have windows facing the next house, change your construction plan to have better lighting in the house. Some materials used are cheap, but then again the house looks great. Customer service has been Stellar! I would buy a KB home again, but only if I get it built so I have the option to choose the plan and material. My closing was also hassle free!

Ms. Rhoda's expertise made my dream of owning a home come true. She exhibited an eagerness to answer questions and patience if I didn't completely understand. Very nice disposition and definitely would recommend her.

There is just to many things to itemized. The house upon completion looked like it was completed with out supervision. To the point that when I was on the final walk through there was a picture of a Man's Private Part drawn on the Garage wall and it was unseen by the project manager. Then they ask you repeatedly if you can give them 10's on the Construction manager survey over and over even though they know it is not deserved but you feel compelled to or the stuff you need fixed in you newly bought home will not get fixed or it will be done with a grudge. I do not plan on getting another KB home after this experience and I am telling everyone I know that even if they can find a home that is smaller but cost more than a KB home go with the smoller home that is better quality. All you get with KB is more sqft for the price. But then you have to question what problems am I going to have to deal with after I get in the home because the home was so poorly built. ... More

Everyone in our building process was great. We love our house and every KB employee we have come across has been very helpful throughout the process.

Model homes looked great, but after moving into the actual home, I realized the quality of KB Home is not top notch. You can tell people who painted and did the construction didn’t pay attention to details. You can hear impact noise from your next door neighbor. KB Home’s frontline employees (sales, superintendent) are great, but sr. leadership must drive quality for the whole company so it can trickle down.

All the personnel I came in contact with, was experience in their work and very knowledgeable. The home builders responded to my calls in a timely manner.

We were amazed at the wonderful service we received from the KB Homes team! Pat in the sales department was wonderful and the customer service team is amazing. Every new home has an adjustment or two that must be made after moving in and AJ and Tony have been top notch partners to help us all along the way, thank you! P.S. The KB staff were very friendly, personable, and responsive throughout the whole home buying process and they made purchasing a home less stressful. They build quality homes at a reasonable price

Home buying part was great very knowledgeable and communicative sales ladies We weren't able to choose the options for the house because it was almost completely built when we decided to purchase. We don't like The materials for (counter tops) the kitchen and bathroom I would have never chosen not durable for heavy use. Not enough windows in the house, rooms are very dark not enough natural light comes in, no outlets to install room fans, it would be very expensive to add fans to any rooms.

I’ve had several issues that were promised to be fixed and have not been fixed with no updates or responses.

The home buying process was seamless, Jerry and Rueben are awesome. My customer service rep is very responsive in getting things done. Check every little nook and cranny of your home and do site visits if possible. My home was not cleaned before moving in so I had paint speckles all throughout the home, handprints were everywhere in the flooring which took some scrubbing because it didn't come up with just a mop. DO NOT sign off that your home is 100% until everything is to your standard or liking. Depending on where you move the ball may get dropped on somethings. My sprinkler system doesn't cover my entire yard so I have dead patches that we have to hand water. For the most part I have a good Rep that does get things done after move in, so Im ok with my home. ... More

No answer when there is an issue. All they really want is your money. Pushes you to sign and do walk thru as soon as possible even with issues present. Once you sign they will ignore you and not answer any phones calls for issues they were suppose to fix PRIOR to walk thru.

Hello! This is my first experience purchase home. Until now everything is running wonderfully. I wish contienue it. The constructor always is gentle and willing to give you support. Of course I I love it. I wish you the best of luck in your purchase

My experience with KB Home has not been good. First, our closing date kept being moved. This cost us more money for rental trailer. We drove to Texas from Los Angeles expecting to enter a "move-in ready" home. It was far from ready for anyone to move in! Our Toilet was not attached in one bathroom and the times underneath were all broken from someone apparently working on it. Our second bathroom had a sign on the Toilet that said "do not use". Our tile floor was a mess! There are chips in many of the times. The times are uneven and unevenly spaces along with slopes in the living room. All of the base board needed to be repainted. Our venta were put in wrong and the ceiling was cut to large to fit the venta it, but no one fixed it so we had gaps in the ceiling and extra nail holes. Some of the Doors including the front door did not close correctly. The backyard was full of trash. It also had an area that was sinking. I could go on and on about all of the issues, but I believe you get the point. I wrote emails with pictures to the corporate office and they responded quickly. However, we have been in the home for almost two months and we still have people coming to fix issues. If I would have known about the quality of work I would have gone with a different builder. KB home has a top-notch team in place at the Verano site. Jean works tirelessly getting everything just right for each home being built. We felt that his attention to our home was focused. He always answered questions and fixed little things when we brought them to his attention, as we visited the site a lot while the home was being built. Lizette always helped with our questions and went out of her way to find answers to questions she didn't have ready knowledge of. We felt very much involved with the process of the building of our home.

I was always updated during the home buying process and even after I still had great communication with the representatives.

We love our home in Gold Canyon, AZ. Structurally the house is sound but the trade work inside is not up to par for what you spend on these homes. Make sure you get an independent inspector to inspect the work along the way and it would be valuable to have a realtor to advocate for you! It’s a must if you want to stay on top of the whole process. The Forman and salesman were nice but communication was severely lacking. KB Homes can do better to make sure the homes they build are top of the line for the cost.
