Excellent Team! Smooth experience and company took care of everything

We had a wonderful experience in our community with our sales team, and construction team. I hear your experience really depends on these teams. If you ever get Braxton, Jason, Diane or Lindsay you are in excellent hands. Our Superintendents stayed on top of the crews to put together a quality, and sturdy home. The home is incredibly well insulated, and blocks out external noise very effectively. This is likely because of the Energy Star certification. Since it's a new construction, you need to set your expectations appropriately: no home is perfect. There will be minor flaws and imperfections. You could spend millions on a completely custom home and still wind up with imperfections and things that were done weird. But you can focus on the big things (e.g. concrete, electrical, plumbing, the guts of the house, etc) and ask questions about the little things (e.g. Should the transfer grill rattle when closing the door? Does the grout get sealed?). We are very happy with our home! It was a great experience building with KB Home, and we look forward to raising our family in this beautiful home. ... More

We had a wonderful experience throughout it all. Genesis and Garett always kept us well informed on the process and updating us on our home as it was being built.

The construction aspect was the worst part of the home buying, things were not properly done before handover George did not do a good job

Overall our new home is beautiful. But we have a few quality issues from drywall, paint, plumbing, shower tile inadequate tile/ grout installation, internet cable that was installed is not compatible with provider and floor foundation / garage floor cracks. The issue are slowly being resolved. We have been told many times the floor concrete cracks are common in Florida. This is new to me. Moving from Virginia, we have not experience this problem. Even though the house is new, we did have a home inspection prior to closing. I would recommend this to future home buyers. We began the new build process in May of 2022. In order to purchase the home we had to sell the existing home as we were told they only wanted owner occupancy which was not true. It took over 14 months for the completion. They gave us the closing date but the home was not ready and it delayed us an additional 2 weeks. After move in, we found things that needed to be addressed; however nothing has been done and we are still waiting.

Following up with new home buyer would be nice!

The superintendent made walkthrough appointments, followed up, left his phone number for immediate help if needed. A perfect experience, totally recommend KB

Karen,Dave, and Chris provided fantastic customer service and support throughout the whole process. They are an excellent group and a fantastic asset to the KB Home team.

From the sales staff, to the people helping to get our house perfect, the experience has been great. Like any new home, there were items that needed to be fixed. The KB team was responsive and brought everything up to our expectations. My only issue was with the tech sub contractor, they left a cat5 wire with no connector.

The whole process of purchasing and building a new home was seamless from start to finish. KB staff provided weekly updates and correspondence was timely.

I purchased inventory home. I was in my home in about 45 days. The whole team was amazing. I am a first time home buyer. Kb homes made the process very easy with constant communication every step of the way.. The quality is impeccable. I love my new home

ENTIRE PROCESS WAS FLAWLESS FROM START TO FINISH

Do your homework, have patience and stay dilligent and atand your ground. Unfortunately the lack of communication, language barriers and transparency has been poor from start to finish. The home is beautiful, the process has been painful. Extremely painful. I wish we had a different experience. It is supposed to be THE most exciting time of your life, sadly KB hasn't made us feel that way. We are almost two months in and still working to complete the punch list to make things right.

Overall, this was a great experience for a first time buyer. Only thing that could have been better is more effective communication from the customer service team about signed forms. They dropped the ball there. But the build is great and they’ve fixed any issues quickly.

Our sales Rep Ann was absolutely amazing! She is always there to answer questions and always provided weekly updates. Jon and Leah the PMs were awesome they provided weekly updates and helpful tips and were very knowledgeable. This KB team at the Hills is an All Star team!

Been here a little over a month and have had a bunch of issues with the house from electrical to plumbing to paint. Thought I was buying a quality home from a quality builder. Sense of urgency is just not where it should be to get issues resolved. Not too happy.

Overall great experience. Well, there were a few defects that were addressed within a month with excellent quality. So, great job there! That's why I'm totally satisfied with that. Though, the fence issue is something that a bit strange where part of my fence was changed AFTER I moved in and it cannot be addressed for about 2 months... That's the only strange thing

The sales team at KB Lilac was excellent. My loan officers were exceptional. The whole process was exciting and simple. Thanks KB
