Overall great experience every step of the way!

This a great house overall but comes with a lot of issues low quality materials and some really bad details from construction contractors !! Once I start looking around everything I find a lot of ugly things I have being fixing myself since I don’t trust them at all !!

Communication is lacking in my opinion. Lots of last minute things causing more stress. Construction did a great job and communication was good with them. They were on top of getting repairs scheduled timely. Getting the home move in ready inside and out was not completed to my satisfaction. It could have been mowed and cleaned up better.

Warranty person ignored my request.

Fantastic experience during the purchasing phase and the project engineer primary point of contact is excellent in assisting to take care of any concerns or questions during the walk-thru and move in periods. However, there have been a few items that have needed attention post-move in but the process for resolution is smooth and prompt. There are a few concerns about quality in materials used especially the interior paint which may require additional expense to repaint with a product that can be wiped down without exposing the underlying drywall. I would like to have seen a bit more space allocated to the extra bedrooms for my particular floor plan, even if it means making the great room/living room a bit smaller. Getting requests processed through the current KB Home contracted Home Owners Association (HOA) has been a more of a challenge than it should be. i would not buy a other house with KB home or tell someone to buy here

I reported the sliding door is damaged and installed backwards, someone came to look at it and I never heard from anyone again. I had an access panel to space under the stairwell installed and found it was completely full of scrap sheet rock. That just screams we don’t car … why not properly discard scraps instead of leaving them hidden in my house, what else is hidden in my house? I dare not look in the attic. Overall the workmanship in my opinion lacks pride. My opinion has gone down since I moved in.

Home was delivered ahead of schedule. The entire staff from front to back end was very professional.

As typical with new homes, we ran into several issues but we're working to resolve them. Other than that we highly recommend this place! It has over all been a great experience!

Less than average experience so far in this new community.

We purchased our home in May of '22 and unfortunately due to material and labor shortages of the time we did not move in until June of 2023. However, we had consistent follow up and updates throughout the process and KB homes team was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Our sales rep Ress was and continues to be very helpful and every one was pleasant and professional during our interactions. I would definitely recommend KB homes to people looking to build their dream home.

A month before closing we saw issues with the home that needed to be fixed, in order to delay the closing we inquired prior to the walk through. They said all issues would be addressed the same week and closing and be resolved quickly before closing. I closed on 23 June and it is now 11 August and I still have several items from my initial walkthrough that should have been fixed.

After we picked the house we wanted, nothing was good or great after that. Mortgage company was horrible. We did a walk through previously with blue tape and signed off. When we moved in, nothing was fixed we had marked. Trying to get them to fix anything was like pulling teeth and we had to do some of it ourselves. When someone spends over $400,000 on a brand new house, the buyer shouldn't have to do quality control in the contractors job. Do not recommend.

Still having major issues with the home. And small issues. Calls were never returned notes were never updated or taken a very confusing process poor customer service. They would say they were going to do something but then go back on their word multiple times.

They changed closing date many times. They have not came back to fix the things under warranty.

Nice finishes and budget friendly

Lacking construction experience and knowledge in the home building field to no one can do anything of what they promised at the time of closing they make it sound like your family and everything will be fixed but they can’t get their trades to come back and do any warranty work simple details get missed no one is ever available every one is either not in yet off or has gone home for the day or on vacation and no one is Available on weekends but yet they are sooooo behind very unhappy with the quality of the work for a brand new house Frank the kb construction rep is nooooo help at all kb is just empty promises I should have gone else where to purchase ... I like my new home and neighborhood.

From the first day I met Philip May salt it to the last day we closed, what can I say. Philip always answered present to me at anytime even when he was resting at his gym. Jaime goss an extraordinary woman who was able to answer all my questions even when she was also resting. So Zack what to say. Always present at the slightest house concern to the point of coming to do the job sometimes and checking that everything has been done by the technicians. KBHOME i would always recommend and deal with them again and again
